I joined Pure Gym a few weeks ago and…
I joined Pure Gym a few weeks ago and have attended several different classes . I took part in the pump class on Wednesday at 5pm . This was the best class I have done by far . Thomas Coates took the class and he is such a great motivator and has fun with it . It’s a shame Thomas doesn’t run any other classes after 5 . Maybe he will in the future . The other instructors maybe needs some tips from Thomas . He gets involved and is not just reading the exercises off a piece of paper which I feel some of the others do . They are all very nice . They are just not Thomas .

Lack of effective air conditioning
They have had new kit but all the new machines are lacking individual fans so there is no cool air blowing like the old machines did. The air conditioning seems to have been set at low a level or even non-existent so it’s getting very stuffy and uncomfortable whilst exercising on the top floor. Will be cancelling my membership and looking for an alternative gym if there is no improvement soon

We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored.
All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes.

Dull soleless gym
Dull soleless gym. Very few mirrors no decoration, it's functional but feels unfriendly and overly sterile. Dull walls, Dull carpet, Dull atmosphere. Weights stacks had no plates on them as they were all on the machines already. It serves a purpose but its so uninviting.

I joined the stoke PureGym and I pay…
I joined the stoke PureGym and I pay full £26.99 so I can assess other PureGym and I want to go to Stafford PureGym aswell but I can not assess the gym in Stafford because it was a different price what I was £28.99 but same equipment plus stoke and Stafford are closer to me and the other PureGym are out of the area and miles away from me where I would never go to so feel unsatisfied

There's always a good vibe in the…
There's always a good vibe in the Stafford PureGym. The Staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful. There's always a lot of equipment that's free to use. The gym is always clean and tidy. I always feel good walking in to this gym as well as walking out after a good work out.

Calisthenics
This is a great gym great classes friendly staff but is lacking intermediate height or parallette bars to swing on for calisthenics training. It is the high bar or nothing. But it does have the large metal framework in place to adjust some bars without compromise or additional costs. The framework is only used on two sides. Just needs some thought in meeting customer needs. The issue was raised.

Love this gym
Love this gym, as a female that attends at various different times and often at night it’s great to know it’s a safe place. The facilities are good and lots of classes to choose from.

The music is a disgrace someone has got…
The music is a disgrace someone has got 50 terrible songs on a playlist and i cant even work out while getting angry at the songs. I know it seems like a pointless complaint but the songs are soooo bad who ever is playing those songs needs firing immediately.

Three months of Cold Showers
I have been a member for two years and the subscription keeps increasing. The biggest problem is cold showers for the last three months the showers have been freezing. I thought they were working on them but now it is beyond a joke. I will be giving The Gym Group a try as there is no sign of the situation in Stafford improving.

Top of the drawer
I stay away with work regularly so have frequented a fair few PureGym's in the UK. Stafford is by far amongst the upper elite of all, so im lucky its my local one. It has space and designated areas that make it never feel too busy. The staff are always helpful, and constantly looking after the Gym so it's always clean and tidy. I've heard some complaints from other members but they are so finnickity it's laughable.
Literally the only negetive is there isn't a hygiene station downstairs but that is it.
I've been using this gym for about 6 months now and see zero reason to leave. The multi-plus membership is a godsend for work also.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.
We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.
