Classes
The classes are of a poor standard at the moment compared to what’s been on offer in the past. Also, 30 minute classes are pointless as 5mins at the beginning is a warm up and 5mins at the end is a cool down. I’d love to see more 45?min classes back on the timetable.

Better than expected
Better than expected. Pleased with my Gym having just started.
Friendly staff and like minded people. Very clean environment. I also like the App and scan option to get in and out. Just got to remember to charge my phone fully and to bring charger with me, just in case. I am a early bird Gym person, always have been with the exception of the weekend. I joined completely blind with no visit. It has been the best investment to date with my self, did Weight Watchers prior it worked, great results but 3 years later weight back on. What has always worked and allowed me to eat what I want is the consistency with the gym and walking. Back to basics, Pure Gym allows this at a good price. However if there were to be increases I would need to reconsider.
I will say this, noticed Pure Gyms vary in price. I chose the one that worked for me with the location although others would have that are cheaper it was in the opposite direction to where I needed it to be, so paying more, but no complaints so far.
Showers temperature not great in ladies, luke warm at best, much more on the cooler side, Also appear to have been bitten again while in studio for classes on both legs during floor exercises with classes. This is my only gripe.

Excellent friendly space to work out
Excellent friendly space to work out. As I have a disability access is important and this is something I feel the gym does well. The management are great as are the staff team. The space is clean airy and is somewhere I enjoy going.

The gym it self is good but mostly on…
The gym it self is good but mostly on single machines. Twice in a day I couldn’t use the back row and bicep bar because these two lads was using them 30min plus and when asked they looked agitated. Most of the time people are sitting with their phones on a machine. Some people are nice it’s just them bad apples that ruin our experience. I’ve signed up to another gym unfortunately as it’s pointless to go gym if I can’t use it.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Poor quality
Oversubscribed, not enough equipment. Equipment frequently goes down and takes ages to repair. Parking is free but very poorly lit and you have to park far from the entrance on most days. The gym recently removed the hand towels and antibacterial spray, making for a wholly unhygienic and unpleasant experience.

Great gym
Great gym, instructors and classes. However the aircon in the studio is never working and from a health and safety aspect not good. We there sweating not due to the class but no air con. This needs fixing before someone passes out.

Cold showers !
I have been a member of puregym sutton coldfield from when they opened The temperature of the showers is tepid warm at best plus there are only 2 supposed hot showers and 2 cold showers which never get used so at busy times we are queuing to get a shower i mentioned this to them and they said it will be staying at that temperature a lot of the members I know are not happy with this we don't expect to have a more or less cold shower after a workout unless this changes me and a few other members will be leaving its not good enough so unless you like a cold shower don't join this gym as they are not interested in looking after you ,very poor

Sutton gym has gone down hill.
Sutton gym has gone down hill.
Only 4 showers 2 of which are cold and 1 of which is not working the remaining one is meant to be hot but is cold to. the changing rooms are cold with the aircon on.
The rest of the gym is fine but showers are c##p, I went to the Warwickshire retail park one the other day so much better 6 hot working showers, fab
refunds should be given for members of the sutton gym

The manager of my gym is awesome and excellent tutor and gives me is all which spurs me to be better and Scott is amazing down to earth real life weight lifting champ excellent tutor corrects us were in wrong stance and listens to us and we do him raheem is a beast of the staff works hard make s us work even harder Kyle is awesome core tutor and others I cnt comment on due to not training with x
