PureGym experience
My son is the one that goes there he was so impressed with the staff it was his first time going and he says he loves it as the staff made him feel welcome they took the time out to show him how to use the equipment safely and effectively which was amazing he now goes to the gym every week which has really boosted his self esteem a lot

unbelievably bad
Unbelievable! Paid for a day pass and went to put in the code, it got declined and then tried to call for assistance and nobody answered, waited half an hour before i left.

Rude staff
A old black ladywho work in the gym is too rude she was throwing weight from far away to rerack scaring the gym members , she was reracking weight with angry face, time was 1 am

We ask that members return their weights after use, to ensure that the gym remains and safe and tidy environment for our members. However we know that at busier times, weights are not always returned and our team complete regular re-sets of the gym.
We understand that this is sometimes frustrating for our members, and it is included within our Gym Rules that members should return weights after use. Anybody witnessed leaving equipment out of place will be spoken to by our Gym Team.
If you have any specific concerns relating to this matter, please speak with a member of the gym team where they will be able to assist further.

We are equally as disappointed when, from time to time, things go wrong and equipment has to be placed out of order. Regular maintenance checks are undertaken, and any issues identified are escalated to engineers straight away. Sometimes, there may be a small wait whilst engineers attend to fix any issues, but we endeavour to resolve these as soon as possible.
If you have any concerns about specific pieces of equipment in your gym, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

We always advise that new members have an induction to ensure they are familiar with the lay out of the gym and understand how to use the different pieces of equipment. Inductions are usually placed on the class time table. You can also get in touch with the Gym Manager via email, and an induction can be arranged for a specific date and time. Alternatively, members are able to speak to the staff in the gym (if they are not on the gym floor, please feel free to knock on the staff room door) and have an induction. Thanks, PureGym
Stay away
I joined gym last night then drove there very disappointed couldn't see one member of staff in the hole gym! Oh sorry there was apparently one doing all the classes, as I was new I needed help with the car park payment etc story tissues everywhere, no to on any of the machines anymore very basic, the gym classes were shocking no abs, no lot, no Pilates no yoga very very basic car park fees expensive for a little extra I can do to another gym with pools, sauna tv and lots of classes I can't get to speak to nobody to get my money back as I within my 14 days STAY AWAY

Same thing
I re joined thinking the classes would be improved , which they were temporarily however it’s the same the PT’s left & there are limited classes , I find some classes boring , the music is so uninspiring I put my own headphones on & listen to my own music at times , there are 3 excellent PT’s who r experts in their field
West Brom has the same issues , the new PT’s leave & now same old issues , when I participate in a class I like to be motivated & have good upbeat music, not stop myself from falling asleep , also need qualified PT’s to run the classes , Saturday needs a class !

Good equipment but weights left everywhere
Equipment was all in good condition, however weights were left all over the place by members which did make it hard to find what was needed!

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this.
However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this. Thanks, PureGym
Pure gym West Bromwich poor safety
Pure gym West Bromwich, all lockers damaged not even a single one was lockable so I could leave my stuff safely in it. Not mentioned that all lockers made from poor materials and you can break in easily. Disappointed

I booked in for an exercise class and I…
I booked in for an exercise class and I was the only one that turned up so I couldn’t do it. The instructor asked me if this is the first time at the gym and I said no but I haven’t been for about three years.
He didn’t show me how to use the apparatus and no struggled to know how to put the treadmill and bicycle on certain settings.
I was very demotivated and decided to leave.

Hardly any classes for working class
Hardly any classes for working class . Used to start at 17.45 onwards now I lucky if I can catch a class at all . Hence I have froze my account untill January supposedly under the impression th classes will improve if not i will cancel completely. There are also no variety in the classes as before all the same LBT.

The hygiene in the changing rooms is…
The hygiene in the changing rooms is poor the lockers are all broken the shower waste drains are constantly blocked and overflow.There is not enough spring back hooks on the training equipment.
