The great experience is asking about the work, is everything going well, how are the things, by calling time to time. If there were some questions, they answered and explained with great manner as well as try to resolved as soon as possible. Overall the experience with the Randstad is very well up to now.

Today we discuss how Randstad is actually illegal with their employees. They do not follow AWR which gives workers more rights and pay after 12 weeks. They are dishonest and the worst agency around. Try teaching personnel, they’re much more up front and honest. This place will take your money and refuse to talk to you. They damage the reputation of the schools they work at by making up lies to tell their agency staff stating the school has said this which the schools never do. Once the school finds out, by people like me who dislike bullies like Randstad, they distance themselves very quickly. Do yourself a favour, if they say “the school said” speak to the school directly and ask them as you are allowed to. You will be amazed how many times they will back you up against your agency like this one.

Avoid at all costs and if you do work for them, and been in the same role for more than 12 weeks, you are entitled to be paid the same as someone who is permanent. They won’t tell you this though so remember ACAS is your friend and they are a free advice place to help against bullies and thieves like Randstad. Mark Heselwood, Joseph Ledbury, Bethany Wingfield, are all dishonest. Do not trust this company. They underpay people for fun and after 3 months minus a day, they legally get to keep your money. Be advised and be warned. Approach at your own peril.

Average agency, with poor systems and absolutely no interest in helping you if payments are missed or if there are timesheet issues.

You're barely a number to them.

It was a great and simple way to assess the abilities of each candidate.

I have lost trust in this company. I have applied multiple times for positions that match my skills and interests, yet each time, I receive an email stating that I have failed the test—even when I am confident that I performed well.

On one occasion, I passed all the tests and interviews. I even received multiple emails stating that I would be contacted soon to start the job. However, in the end, I was removed from the hiring pool without any explanation.

It makes me wonder whether age or nationality played a role in this decision. I have tried reaching out to the company for clarification, but no one has responded. Instead, I was only given the option to leave a voice message.
This lack of transparency and communication is disappointing.

This company was engaged by my previous employer during layoffs. The suggestion was that this agency could help terminated employees to brush up their cv, write cover letters, improve interview skills, etc. Throughout the time I had calls with them and used their service I found them unobliging when it came to sharing pertinent information, slow to facilitate (running down the clock), and entirely disorganised. But nothing in that is the source of my dissatisfaction.

Imagine my shock, months after finishing my contact with Randstat when I realised that the final "improved" CV I had been provided with was corrupted with some issue that caused the letters 'ti' to convert to a '?'. Like this: Optimisation became Op?misa?on. Imagine realising after submitting your CV for months that when it was opened at the other side it was festooned with this anomaly, and not only that - but the formatting was also haywire. And imagine that you've proofread, and edited, and made every adjustment you could think of throughout this time, thinking that you had a truly perfect CV, especially (according to Randstat) designed to pass recruiter's ATS systems.

I am livid that not only did these issues not show up for me when I sent the CV to myself for sanity checks - but I was NEVER ADVISED by Randstat that their fabulous CVs were (possibly?) designed in some system other than MS Word, meaning that even as PDFs the errors somehow appeared at the other side. I had encountered the issue on a Recruitment website, but I put the appearance of the ? replacing 'ti' down to an issue with that site, and not the source document I'd uploaded.

Why would any agency engaged to assist someone who's been laid off and is searching for work EVER do that? What is that if not blatant sabotage?

My experience with Randstad has been amazing from start to me landing my role. I was able to get all the information i needed to prepare me for my interview. Vijaya was totally amazing. The way she has assisted me I can't thank her enough, The registration was easy and quick. I recommend Randstad UK all day every day. Keep up the good work and thank you for this new working relationship.

I was very impressed and moved with the courtesy call ,I received from Gayathri R of After Care , when I was sick for weeks, I got call from her following up my sickness, constantly, I was satisfied with her courageous words. Thats shows the thoughts of the department for their colleagues.

My experience with Randstad UK was excellent. Their team was helpful particularly Arnas and Jake who were quick to respond to my queries. The application process was straightforward, and communication was clear throughout.

Today I completed a task given to me by the Ford team to progress in my apprenticeship application progress. I found the experience of AssessFirst very good. This is because it tested me on various factors and tested my skills and how alert I am.

Arnas really took care of me and helped me every time I emailed him. Such a great experience to be apart of this interview stage!
