I don’t know what has happened to rated people ,been with them many years ,the fake leads on there are getting a bit much ,I have lost a considerable amount of money on fake leads ,this non refundable after 20% over 3 months is ridiculous ,if the customers were vetted properly ,there would be no need to refund the contractor for fake leads ,it’s getting very bad ,and the job leads have seriously reduced in numbers ,i personally have had enough of this .

The Fact that i have to leave 1 star is an insult.

I signed up with Rated People on the 19th of May as a tradesman. I paid them for 3 months up front to receive leads for driveway and patio leads. The minute the money left my account i have been totally abandoned by this company! the app, had signed me in as a homeowner not a tradesman. trying to sign in as a tradesman it said my details were not recognised. There is no direct line of communication that allows you to speak to someone who can deal with the problem so you are forced to use the AI system to help with the problems!

you may as well open your front door and shout into the wind for all the help that is. i sent a message to the "support" email address that is given and was not contacted until 7 days later (after also sending messages to all the social media platforms) i was contacted by the engagement account manager. He apologised and made all the promises that i would be given 10 days added on to my account more credits... etc

I was told the email address had been put in wrong and that it had been fixed. A link would be sent to reset my password and everything would operate as it should. that was not the case, i tried to rest my password myself multiple times to see if i could get the link to get this solved.
i informed him the next day that i was still having an issue. I have not heard from him since!!! i have been totally blanked and left with my pants well and truly pulled down. I have continually tried to reset it but nothing!! i am now 18 days from when i first signed up and have heard absolutely nito!!

i signed up with this company to relieve the stress of lead generation and they have made it 1000 times worse. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL. they will take your hard earned money and run!!! from what i have read from other tradesman this was once a reputable company but have somewhere along the line abandoned any core values or sense of customer satisfaction.

honestly lads go to any of there competitors and spend your money where you're at least going to get to speak to someone.

They asked me to get in touch using there support line couldnt get through no suprise there there just after your money scam site if they wanted to sort it out they can ring me

I got experience like a trader person with Rated people, on monthly roll payment contract, invested my hole credit 200£ on several leads ( 6 in total) , but no responce , no interest from any of those potential clients, I got it no blaming at all. That kind of platform just not for me.
But what was the worth experince since I got Rated people account like a trader, nobody never contact me from team of Rated people, just to check or to ask how is going, am I ok with leads, is platform understandable nothing, its mean on another side nobody is interesting at your progress or unprogress, in this case comunication between team and trader is very important, but I even can not contact with them after I made first payment for my membership, until tĥe moment I decided to cancel my membership contract, I received call back in couple weeks after my cancelation request

Bradley the electrician was punctual efficient and communicated really effectively
He was very quick and tidy
Price was a bit more than l expected but l guess that’s the rate these tradesman command
He was friendly and polite overall excellent would have him again definitely recommend

I used a company called PJM roofing. The job they did failed after 5 days. I have asked them for two weeks to help repair with no resolution. You support these cowboys...why. £600 wasted

Not possible to delete account via the app. Passed on my phone number to the trade without permission. Bad customer service. Do not trust this company, it’s data farming . Not GDPR compliant.

To respond to the below, you have already received my email regarding my request to delete my account which you have not replied to as the delete account button in the app does not work. I also requested you remove details which you have not actioned and said you need to keep my data for 6 years which is not reasonable. I was only joined for around a hour before I realised you were dishing my data out so why do you need to keep it for 6 years now? You also have not explained how the browser and app suddenly got my contact details without my inputting these or approving a data protection policy.

Freddie was very honest and friendly gave good advice and his helper was. very polite and friendly too they plastered my ceiling and skylight and did a good job would recommend 👌

Advertised for an electrician. Got a call within half an hour, and he arrived at my home within an hour ( he drove over 30 miles to do the job) whilst he was here I got another call. Speedy service, excellent work.

Had a few roof titles slip off from the vertical wall by the bedroom windows. Posted on the site and got a call back within 15 mins and had the job sorted within 2 days which was excellent

Charging for leads you cannot get a hold of. Running refunds based on a percentage of your leads bought instead of what actually happens. They obviously do not trust you.
Leads so expensive compared to unlimited leads from checkatrade for a fixed annual membership fee.
Customer service is absolutely shocking, I was unable to speak to anyone and system cut you off when pressing the phone options.

The worst lead company I have encountered by a long way.

Dan turned up on time and we had a little chat so he new exactly what was needed. The curtain rails and curtains turned out just as i wanted so i was well pleased.

Professional, prompt, friendly and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

I chose Building Maintenance Services to do the repairs to my conservatory. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

Ando plasterers I went with, Carl was on time, polite, fantastic job, cleaned up afterwards and price was reasonable, definitely using Ando plasterers agin.

I put my ad on the site, including a couple of pictures of what is required and within a couple of hours I had some quotes.
I contacted the best fit trades man and the job was completed within 2 days. a really good experience
