I would highly recommend Reades. I was blown away by the quality of the photography, drone shots and Instagram reel. Having bought and sold seven houses I believe their particulars were easily the best I have encountered. Communication with the Sales Team, Emily Isaacs in particular, has been excellent and I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone thinking of selling their property through Reades.

5 stars from start to finish when selling our property. All of the team were very pleasant, professional and efficient. They answered all queries and advised when asked. They answered calls and returned calls as promised. I can’t say one negative about these guys at all. Thank you Reades!

Had our property on the market with Reades for 10 months with 17 viewings and not 1 offer. So decided to move estate agents after also losing money with Reades.
Moved to Keystone and after 3 days 2 viewings it was Sold.
Don't waste your money on Reades

For over four years, my partner and I rented through Reades in Hawarden, and throughout that time, we were repeatedly spoken down to and treated disrespectfully whenever we had to deal with them.

There was a parking overflow used to seek the property to us, the overflow was taken away so the rent still went up? Ridiculous

Our maintenance concerns were consistently ignored — even serious issues such as rats in the walls were never properly addressed. Communication was poor from start to finish, and even at the end of our tenancy, it continued. We had an inspection two weeks before moving out, heard absolutely nothing afterward, and were then charged for multiple unreasonable things.

We found that our neighbours had similar experiences, which says a lot about how this agency operates.

We’re completely outraged by how we were treated and urge any potential renters to stay far away from Reades

I would strongly advise anyone, living in the North Wales area, to steer clear of Reades Agency.
I have dealt with many estate agents over the years and I can honestly say that they have been the worst – by far.

In the six month period we were involved with them they employed dubious practices in their dealings with us starting with stipulating that we accept a ‘sole selling rights’ agreement. The terms of this agreement were pernicious and if we had been thinking straight at the time and not under some pressure to sell we would never have signed it.

So having agreed with Reades for them to handle our sale my first impression of Reade’s office staff, who were assigned to deal with us, was poor. I found them off hand almost to the point of arrogance.

Some time into the ‘sale’, when there was little viewing activity, we were informed by the manager at Reades that he had joined up with an Auction House who were offering to auction our property free of their usual sellers commission although we would still have to pay Reades commission of 1.6%. What the manager failed to tell us was that the Auction House would be charging an exorbitant buyer’s commission basically to include a normal seller’s commission, which would naturally have had the effect of reducing the maximum amount a potential buyer would be prepared to bid for the property.
We turned down the offer but this incident gave me the impression that Reades would go to any lengths to sell a property whether it benefited the seller or not to get their commission as fast as possible.

Towards the end of our time with Reades, I was having difficulty in retrieving viewing information from their online web site (Street) and asked for help from the manager. When I received no reply I made the same request to the two office staff dealing with our property: all three of my e-mails were returned automatically to me unanswered !
From details on the returned e-mails it appeared that Reades had switched on a spam filter operated by the company Spamhaus and it was being used by Reades to block incoming e-mails so they would not have to bother with them! I was flabergasted at this behaviour which to me was totally and unbelievably unprofessional.
At this point I decided to ditch Reades and we eventually sold the property through another agent.
Unfortunately, because of the sole selling rights agreement we had made with Reades we not only had to pay commission to the agent who found the buyer but to Reades also even though our involvement with them had proved to be an utter and total waste of time.

So please learn from our mistake and avoid Reades Agency like the plague. There is absolutely no doubt there are better agents out there.

This estate agents cannot be trusted. They have put a house on right move, 12 Madeley Close, Broughton claiming it's new to the market when it has been up for months and was reduced in early December to the current price. This estate agents favours the seller and is prepared to lie to the buyer to get the sale. They also take weeks to answer questions from interested parties about the property they are marketing.

My experience selling my house through Reades was made easy by the way their professionalism, the team at Reades made life easy for me and l was able to relax and virtually leave everything to them. I would especially like to thank Lani for all her help.

I recently booked a house viewing with Lani Bouckley, who I discovered was new to the estate agent role just a few months ago. Despite her brief time in the industry, Lani was exceptional from the start—polite, attentive, and highly professional. She really took the time to listen and understand my needs, providing thoughtful guidance based on her own experience. Lani is not like the typical estate agent who’s purely sales-driven; she genuinely cares, is trustworthy, and honest. I can’t recommend her enough. Reades, consider yourselves fortunate to have someone like Lani in your team. I am confident she will play a key role in your business’s success in the future.

I am completely in a position to progress with the property should I choose to and didn’t change my mind as you insinuate on how funds should be raised, not that his has anything to do with you or this platform. Dependent on what my offer could have potentially been given ‘offers over’ being a very ambiguous term, that would have dictated my situation and I wasn’t put off by not having funds as you’d suggested!! You are completely laughable that you think you can talk down to people and try to show them up in public because you feel that they ‘can’t get their own way!’ Absolute joke of a man and not very professional at all. You have my telephone number if you wish to discuss matters with me directly and yes, calls can be recorded my end too.

Update - I appreciate what you are saying and I know what position we are in and don’t feel the need to show my bank account to view a property which may not even be suitable when having looked in the ‘flesh’. I would be more than willing to provide evidence should I wish to place an offer but we won’t be getting this far now which is shame as it’s left a bad taste in my mouth! Having sold a property in the past I am well aware of the effort in preparing it for viewings but I would have been really disappointed to hear that potential purchases had been turned away for not wishing to share financial information in advance. Not to worry though, because as you say, it’ll be sold in no time with the block viewings you have scheduled!

Trying to view a property with Reades and they are the only estate agent I know who has every vendor requiring evidence of a decision in principal or funds before letting anyone walk through the door! Needless to say, I wouldn’t dream of selling a property with them as they are turning away potential buyers.
