little knowledge

4 estate agent staff in 3 offices not enough ! especially when they have limited knowledge of property between them, the company has not managed to hold onto good staff !

In response to the reason for reporting “ This is not a competitior as claimed but someone unhappy, strange to see an excuse made ! rather than an attempt to rectify my situation “ so I now add poor customer service to my list of unhappiness. Noting that not one of us is perfect! A sad fact that has not been recognised by Reades.

Edited again yes reason “editing is the only way to respond to you and remove the parts you have reported as unacceptable as required by trust pilot” therefore editing is a necessary evil ! of your 11 full time staff more than half are in other departments! not agents and therefore do not deal with estate agency business, a law degree does not give you first hand knowledge ,nor does it make you an experienced estateagent.

IT , accounts, property management and directors are not directly dealing with buyers. I stand by my statement of only a handful of staff between 3 offices. So thanks for no apology for any negative experiences I have received and due to these responses and lack of ability to see that there may have been no wrong doing I see no point in contacting you.

I am sorry to inform you that you claims are inaccurate.

Firstly, our in-house team contains 11 full-time members of staff and we can add many more numbers to this in the areas of the business we have outsourced to our network of top-notch companies.

Secondly, our brilliant team has a wealth of knowledge and industry experience; in fact two of our Negotiators hold law degrees and are therefore overqualified if anything.

I cannot comment on the performance of previous employees, but I can tell you that we are really pleased with our current team. They should be proud of themselves too, as Reades has just received the “Gold” award for sales and the “Silver” award for lettings from The Best Estate Agent Guide, in partnership with Rightmove.co.uk, recognising Reades as the best small Estate and Letting Agency in the whole of Wales.

As for my report that you are a competitor, I can find no record of a C Hill ever having contacted Reades and since your initial review only contained defamatory statements, it was the only logical conclusion I could draw.

Your latest revision even states “so I now add poor customer service to my list of unhappiness “, which you added only after I reported your review as being by a competitor. This suggests you had no previous experience – most likely because you were not and never have been a customer of Reades.

For any genuine customers of Reades, if you feel you have received anything less than great service from our company, we would really like to hear from you. We are constantly striving to refine and improve the service we deliver and customer feedback, great or not so great, is an important part of this process.

Wherever possible, I prefer to speak to customers in person or at the very least over the phone, as it helps me to more quickly understand the problem and offer an instant resolution where possible. I would recommend Reades to anyone…

I would recommend Reades to anyone thinking of selling their property. They made the process of selling my late mother’s house easy from start to finish, even managing to secure more than the asking price within a week of the house being marketed.
I wouldn't like to single any member of staff out for special praise because they all deserve it.
Everyone I have dealt with at Reades has been friendly and efficient and kept me informed of any developments during the sale period.
If I need the services of an estate agent in the future then Reades will definitely be my first port of call.

Ashley Lombard

Ashley Lombard has been truly amazing with her help in buying our new home. We are currently living in America, but despite the issues this incurs with the time difference etc., she has arranged viewings and a meeting with the builder to suit our tight time schedule and kept us fully informed at all stages. Can’t thank her enough!

The extra mile with a smile

Excellent Service that goes the extra mile with a smile.
I had to purchase and move into a property in just 4 weeks. Every person from admin to consultant pulled out all the stops to help me. They provided excellent advise that was practical and affordable, along with an understanding of my situation to move my family quickly. They never tired of my phone calls, and always kept their promises. Wonderful people, who said it was just their job, but from my side, it is more than just a job to them, and it shows in their professionalism and their friendliness. Thank you, we love our new home and our new beginning.
