I bought the red and white chess set which was sent very quickly. When it arrived it was well packaged, shiny and they look very smart laid out on the board. I love the red pieces! The weight and feel of them are perfect. Paula (the e-commerce manager) was fantastic. I had a question regarding the chess pieces, she quickly replied to my email and her response was more than I expected. It's rare nowadays to find people in companies who care about customers. Regency chess should be proud of her! The company itself is brilliant. Sent on time and carefully packaged. I've bought a few chess sets and boards from them both for myself and for others as gifts (who have been absolutely thrilled with them). They are top quality chess pieces and boards. If you've got a relative/friend/partner who loves chess, get a set from here.

Bought a chess pieces/board combo recently. The ebonisation on some of the black pieces was of poor quality. Once I had got in touch, the whole set of pieces was immediately exchanged without fuss or cost to myself. Excellent service.

A lovely, high quality gift.
I felt it was difficult to chose a gift like this without getting the real "feel" and weight of it but my son was so pleased with the set, I obviously had worried un-necessarily. It really came up to all expectations from the description given. It was carefully wrapped and delivered on time and is a lovely, well-made, quality product.

Extremely happy with the quality of the…
Extremely happy with the quality of the chess board and the pieces. My only concern is that the order is still not complete after many weeks and despite communication between us. The chess box that the pieces should be placed into appears to be non existent at present which is rather annoying and very inconvenient. Hopefully this will be resolved sometime this month. Something about the highest bidder for these boxes??? Unsatisfactory really.

We are so very sorry about the delay of the box. Sadly the global crisis has made the import of stock even more challenging than normal. With the huge demand on the various workshops, stock availability is either being reduced (for example, we will not be receiving 100% of our 2021 advance order requirement from one warehouse) or the stock is offered to the highest bidder from the workshops to the importers. It is a very unsatisfactory situation, we agree and despite these adverse factors being completely out of our control, we are working very hard to work around them.
I confirm that your box is on back order and as soon as the stock arrives, it will be despatched to you as a priority.

Excellent customer service. I bought the cream and red Atlantic Chess pieces which were reduced because they were 'defective' - honestly they weren't that bad! I like them! The fact that Regency Chess considered them defective shows how much they care about the quality of their products. The customer service was absolutely fantastic. Paula was amazing, I had a request regarding this product and she went above and beyond what I asked for. They care about the customer and they care about the chess sets. If you're going to get your chess sets anywhere, get them from here.
