Poor quality premium oak double carpet bar
I was very disappointed with the premium oak double carpet bar I bought from Remland. I suppose I should have been wary when they wouldn't send me a sample in advance despite me asking them in person on the phone. Delivery was quite slow but they arrived well packaged and protected. I bought 3 x 2.3m lengths. One of these had quite deep fissuring, one had severe pitting on the surface and one was warped. The website said these were supplied UV lacquered for a durable finish but mine were supplied poorly finished with no lacquer evident. Certainly not a premium product and barely fit for purpose.
On a positive note, I also ordered premium oak double bevelled threshold. This was good quality, well finished with lacquer and will be suitable for replacing my existing thresholds.

Excellent customer service
Courier lost the first parcel so Remland immediately sent another. Courier damaged the second parcel so Remland immediately sent another. Excellent customer service, was able to speak to a real person, on the phone (not bot chat) who got things sorted straight away.

Excellent customer service
I recently placed an online order with Remland Carpets, and while the unconnected delivery company caused a few headaches with mixed messages and lost parcel confusion, Marie-Louise and the online sales team were absolute stars. From the second I raised the issue, Marie-Louise took full ownership. She was heavily involved every step of the way, keeping communication clear and making sure everything was resolved as quickly as possible. The products themselves were exactly as advertised. The floor on my rear access car was shiny and slippery and my mob scooter slid all over, I used 2m of blue tufty carpet from Remland. Quality carpet and good value solved the problem. Sent quickly 👍

We had a very positive experience with Remlands; from the start of the process to the finished product. Our whole house was fitted with carpet and we can’t fault the quality of the carpet itself or the laying of it. Every staff member we interacted with was helpful and knowledgable and we are extremely happy with the end result.
