Delighted with the service I received in the shop in Glasgow

When I phoned the store, Simon (I think was his name!) was superb. He ordered in the speakers I was looking for, which arrived in less than 24 hours, and cost even less than Amazon. Seemed a really lovely guy, too.

Service at the shop itself was less positive. The guy at the counter tried upselling an expensive HDMI cable which wasn't compatible with the speakers I had chosen. I asked about the best way to set them up, and showed an example of my current setup, and he just shrugged. I ended up picking the right cables based on my own guesswork.

UPDATE: The Richer Sounds team got in touch after this review and were genuinely apologetic and wanted to make amends. They took the negative aspects of this review very seriously and apologised wholeheartedly. Customer service was great from Ashley and the team there.

Once again the service is received from Stephen was first class. The Panasonic unit has an excellent clear sound, especially f9r rock music.

Great advice and service from Dean love the speaker stands

When phoning, you speak with someone at the end of the line. This matters.

I have shopped at Richer on several occasions and all of the staff have been incredibly knowledgable,personable and helpful and would quite happily shop again.

Always helpful in the Glasgow store both on the phone and when I have visited. Alan the Manager is particularly understanding when discussing options for my system right from the beginning. Highly recommended company and people. Thank you.

Been upgrading my hifi equipment & cables since January, Stephen @ Richer Sounds has been great, he gave sound advice which ultimately resulted in me spending more than I had planned but so glad that I did as end result was definately worth it, would have no hesitation in recommending Richer Sounds their customer service has been first class.

Although the small item I wanted was not in stock, prompt home delivery was arranged at no extra cost.

Excellent TV, very good price. Website easy to use and secure. Good communication.
All taken down a notch by the delivery company you use. Not impressed. Delivery delayed, various different WhatsApp message chats (people or AI?) not making much sense and not being particularly helpful. One of the delivery people deciding to pass a judgy remark about the tv being too big for my living room.

I wanted a second turntable, nothing too expensive, bluetooth-enabled, to use in my attic room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very happy with my purchase - a win-win 'cos I spent a bit more than I intended - great salesperson! Turntable was delivered the next day

You have an idea what you are looking for they will help you with the options available.
The dont try to upsale you, it's just simple advice giving you the chance to make an informed decision,be it that day or another day. It's what the high street is lacking ! Strongly advice trying here before you part with cash at another place !

Dean listened to what I wanted, checked what the different media streamers could do, recommended one that fit my needs (not the most expensive) and ordered it for delivery since out of stock. He even mentioned I could bring it back if it did not work out for me.

The WiiM was an absolute pig to configure properly, so I very nearly did return it, but with a lot of help from Google AI I eventually persuaded it to do exactly what I wanted.
