Simple easy process, helpful staff

Bought a number of products form Richer Sounds Newcastle recently and their customer service is second to none. Providing me with excellent advice and technical knowledge.

As I walk in the store, they were helpful and freindly. As I bought my item. I would shop there again, as I prefer to look around at their products as well as buying.

As I have found every time I need to purchase a new TV , this is my 5th TV from the Newcastle store, the customer service & advice was excellent. The gentleman who served me was extremely helpful & he even carried the TV to my car & put it in the car for me.
SUPERB Service

We were made to feel special from the moment we walked into the store.The fact that we wanted a small tv (32”) didn’t change Colin’s manner towards us (as it had in John Lewis - the salesman didn’t want to know)Colin understood what we needed.He was very knowledgeable and but realising he had two technophobes, he kept things simple for us! He came out to install the tv and soundbar for us and was really friendly and approachable. In fact we have found all the staff to be very helpful as we have had to call the store on two further occasions for advice, and cannot fault any staff member.

Really good store and staff are very professional and any issues you might have or problems with anything ordered and there team are fast to respond I would recommend Richer Sounds to anyone wanting anything audio and the fact the team really care matters alot to me not like other places where they take your money and you get told loads of crap my personal experience with the team at the store was very good and Its my go to place for any audio equipment and TV's 😎

The instore discussion on which tv to buy, was very good. Price/warranty better than elsewhere. The installer at our home was slick and efficient. A very tidy faultless installation. Configured exactly to our requirements. Not a sub-contracted installation; own Richer S staff. Instructions on use were complex - but that's because of the technology - and us. Richer S deserves the Which? accolades.

Had a faulty tv under g/tee ,tried to fix ,couldn’t,gave me £160 towards new tv.got me new one ,im over the moon.they are good.

Richer Sounds appears to make every thing easy, from their website to packaging and shipping. They are also very competitive regarding their prices. The 6 year warranty is better than all other companies.

Great experience, I went into store for a turntable, after seeing that one I wasn’t keen. They helped me find another and then got it ordered. It arrived a few days later

Knowledge, suggestions and service

Ordered a turntable and speakers in store 3 - 5 days delivery. Following day received a phone call that speakers were in store, asked about the turntable and was asked which one had I ordered (?) when I told him he said he'd never heard of that model !!! Contacted again after two weeks and was told the couldn't get in touch with the supplier. I cancelled and got a refund. My advice before ordering 1. Make sure they know what's on their website 2. They can actually supply what's on their website.
8/4/26 update - further to this I was contacted by Paddy Hall from customer services who was incredibly helpful in assisting me in selecting an alternative system and liaising with the Newcastle store to arrange collection. Although reluctant to do so Paddy convinced me to allow them the opportunity to rectify the original error which they did with great efficiency. I now look forward to making an additional purchase. Thanks once again Paddy.

Friendly helpful staff with good knowledge. It started with my 20+year old phono stage faulting on me when I took it in to see if it could be repaired they said they would phone the engineers first to see if a repair was possible before it cost me money. Unfortunately repair wasn't an option so after discussing my options i settled on the fosi box x5 and can say I'm very impressed with it.

I popped into Richer Sounds in Newcastle to see if they had protective case for my Kann Ultra. The sales assistant said they didn’t have one in stock but could order one for me. He said he could have one delivered to the shop the next day or I could have it delivered to my home address. We discussed colour and price and I was walking back out of the shop again in no time. Excellent service. And I am delighted to say I was handed my item the next day as promised by the delivery man. You can’t fault service like that.

I sent an email asking about a product that was showing as out of stock.

A short time later the store called and gave me the details I needed including amount of stock coming on with the next delivery and how many were already sold. I was able to place my order and have it delivered to my home.

Great personal service instead of just an automated email reply.

From the very beginning, he and the team demonstrated a deep understanding of home theatre design, equipment integration, and overall project planning.
Callum was incredibly knowledgeable and guided me through every step, from choosing the right audio setup and projector to ensuring the room layout would deliver the best possible viewing and sound quality. Their communication was clear, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic, which made the entire process both exciting and stress free.

We have recently moved on to installing the control 4 system into my home. A home automation system that unifies lighting, audio, video, security into a single platform. I will leave a separate review of this once complete.
