I cannot thank R J Burgess enough, there are no words to express just how amazing they were when my husband passed away recently.
From beginning to end they kept me involved in a sympathetic, respectful, helpful way making a very difficult situation a little easier.
Everyone I spoke to along the way knew who I was and dealt with my queries quickly and efficiently.
Everything including catering / flowers /celebrant were all just charged to their account then added to my final invoice so that I wasn't having to pay different people
I can't recommend R J Burgess enough.

On first meeting the staff at Burgess funeral directors i felt at ease. Christine guided me through every stage she was professional, caring and sympathetic, Sue read so beautifully it definitely brought a tear or two to our eyes. Everything went so smoothly, I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend as a preferred funeral service. Thank you

Excellent funeral directors, unfortunately had to use their services twice in the last 2 years for family bereavement's and each time they were highly professional, gave excellent service and were supportive and empathetic throughout. Can’t fault them.

I recently lost my father and I had absolutely no idea how to go about arranging a funeral. Fortunately, my father was placed in the care of R J Burgess in Normanton. Jon Silver at R J Burgess was the person I spent most of the time speaking to and I cannot express enough how fantastic he was throughout the whole experience.

His advice, the respect he treated my father with and his good humour were such a boon during an awful and tumultuous time. While everyone at R J Burgess did an amazing job, I in particular can not express enough what a brilliant job Jon Silver did for myself and my family.
