We found the items we wanted, having been unsuccessful at the lack of choice in other retail outlets. The conversation with the store colleague at the till on a shared topic of concern was very informative.

Robert Dyas, in Palmerston Road, Southsea is a great place to shop. All staff are helpful and attentive. The young man with the long hair, who has been at this store for ages, is especially helpful. He seems to know the shop inside out and is always ready and willing to help.
I placed my order and it was ready in an hour, I picked it up and needed help with another purchase and the young man was there to help me.
Always very happy with the service in this shop, staff are always friendly, I do recommend this shop to others.

As someone who doesn’t use buy online very often I found the experience fairly easy to manage

Always enjoy popping into Robert Dyas when I’m in Poole. Many years ago I worked for the store in Horsham!
Always get what’s on my list and quite often fins something that isn’t!

I ordered an Antigua mosaic top table and two chairs. The order arrived promptly and very well wrapped, so it was surprising to find one of the leg connectors sheared off and loose in the packaging. Customer services reacted quickly and efficiently, waived their, frankly silly, policy of having to send the entire package back in it's original, huge amount, of packaging and arranged for a new leg assembly to be sent out. That arrived, in perfect condition, a few days later. The table itself is lovely, the two San Remo chairs are well made and comfortable for short periods, but we have added cushions for longer sits. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase and the price, which was £18 cheaper than we could find anywhere else.

I would certainly not recommend Robert Dyas based on my experience.
I ordered a shed online, and the only reason I chose this particular shed was because of the advertised delivery date. I placed the order nearly two weeks in advance, as it was essential that it arrived on time.
On the day it was supposed to be delivered, I received an email saying the order had only just been dispatched. When I contacted customer services, I was told there had been a delay with the product and that delivery would now be five days later.
At no point was I informed there was a delay before the scheduled delivery date. If I had known, I would have purchased a shed elsewhere. Instead, I wasted time waiting for a delivery that was never going to arrive and have now lost the weekend I had planned to build it.
This is extremely poor customer service and misleading when a specific delivery date is advertised but not honoured, with no advance communication. Customers should be informed as soon as a delay is known, not left to find out on the day their order is due.
Very disappointing experience.

Shocking experience so far and still on going.

Initially 2 orders were accidentally placed, I phoned up to cancel and was assured this had been done, only for 2 tables to turn up the following week.

The item we kept was damaged and so we requested a replacement sent and swapped with the damaged one simultaneously so we were not left with a broken table. This was confirmed and again yesterday they collected the broken table but no replacement in sight.

After yet another call to RD the replacement hadn’t even been sent but on this call I was told it was authorised and would arrive the following morning.

Now is the following morning, where I have received an email that the table will arrive next Thursday - 6 days away. Yet again I have phoned only to be told they don’t do express delivery over the weekend and it wasn’t processed yesterday but only today.

Shocking shocking service, offered a tiny 10% refund which tbh m not sure is enough with all the inconvenience.

Easy to find the product I required and pleased that it was on Sale at a reduced price compared to well known online retailer.

All was as promised.
Delivery was on-time and the driver was extremely helpful!

Excellent product good quality packaging was good and delivered under 24 hours from order
