I’ve been using the Rotimatic for a while now, and my experience has been mostly positive. Initially, it did give me a bit of a hard time during the first 5–6 runs. The dough kept getting stuck, and I was worried that the machine might not work as expected. However, after those first few runs, it seemed to settle in and started working amazingly well.
Now it consistently makes fresh rotis, which is something I absolutely love. Having hot, freshly made rotis without the manual effort is a huge convenience, especially on busy days.
The only improvement I’d hope for is that the rotis could be a bit thinner. Also, while they taste great when fresh, I wish they would stay soft and not become chewy once they get cold.
Otherwise, I love this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is working full time and still wants the comfort of fresh rotis at home.

Bad machine Unresponsive Customer Service
This is not just a bad machine but an unresponsive company.
We were overcharged. Shipping was botched up. Got the louder one though we paid for the quieter one. We didn't use it for weeks after due to a family emergency.
We did try to contact but were given the runaround and due to other family concerns we gave up.
We are 2 people and have tried all the recommended flours.
We typically make 15 rotis so we can just tear up the top part of the roti because even at the highest roast level bottom/inside is always totally uncooked. Edges don't cook well. Repeated errors.
We do a deep clean as recommended and it developed mold. Need to notify the FDA.
I have a cooking blog and newsletter and I will be sharing this experience with all my readers.
Worst product and company we've had the misfortune to deal with. Don't expect anything from this company. Just want to alert others. YMMV.

Worst customer service - refund awaited
Rotimatic has the worst customer service and is a scam company. I ordered a new machine in the first week of January and paid extra for expedited shipping. When the order was not shipped by end of January, I promptly cancelled the product on 1-Feb. I was eligible for a full refund per company policy.
I was told that my refund would be processed at the most in 3-4 weeks, but preferably earlier as the request was being expedited. I have now been waiting for my refund and have chased them 3 times in the last 3 weeks and there is no response from customer service. There is no way to phone into their customer service and no way to reach out to them.
Please do not order from them. Once you pay the money, they completely forget about you.
Rotimatic - if you dont refund my money, I will have to take legal action. My order number is 78490.

It’s stinks. I got a non working machine on December 7th 2025 three months troubleshooting I finally got a label for replacement in February 2026. The non functioning machine was sent on February 10th. Well i am still waiting on the machine. 1600.00 US for a non working machine. Distasteful.

I give one star because when we first bought the machine. It broke in first 3 days. They either don't have quality control departments or they just send crap items. After going back and forth with customers service we were able to get another machine. Literally had to write review all over social media in order for them to get the attention. I have very bad experience first of all when I bought I waited for 3 month for machine then i have problem with flour they didn’t mention that this machine only used when you put special flour , I have to sent back then they give me wrong invoice and receiving address and I applied for refund but I don’t know when I will have money back and the worst thing is that they know I have devolution the Mechine but they are trying to take money from your bank, I mean disgusting.very bad experience

Impossible customer service. Machine never connected to internet for US customer.
After dozens of hours of troubleshooting mechanical issues myself— it makes regular rotis with about 80% success but that’s it. Great idea in theory but poor execution for the price.

One of the worst service experience…
One of the worst service experience ever in my life. Service rep has no clue what was the issue with the unit, he was shooting in the dark assuming one of his fixes will address the issue. Reluctant on replacing the unit, but finally after numerous attempts Rotimatic has decided to replace the unit but only after they receive the defective unit first. I blindly trusted they will ship the new unit post receiving but they have stopped responding to me after receiving the old unit by their warehouse in New Jersey.
Edited 6 May 26. New unit, new issue.. same horrible customer service. After long battle my unit had been replaced (had to purchase roti for more than a month even after spending close to 2k, that is a whole different topic). Now the new unit has fan running all day and night, unless I unplug the power. I reached out to customer service (his name is Dhruvv) a month ago with the issue, so far no response. I follow up every week on the status, there is not even an acknowledgement from this guy. This is below par service for a company that charges 2000 USD for a rotimatic. Stay away from this fraud company and pathetic service.

Every day has to spend hours.
Representatives will join the call, will ask to make rotis and will repeat same questions.
even though I can see where issue is they don't listen and follow there routine process.
Setting up call with them will need minimum 10 days, the next course of action won't happen until that call is completed.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Rotimatic. The machine has not worked properly since I purchased it. It frequently malfunctions and does not make rotis as advertised. For a product at this price point, I expected much better quality and reliability.
What has been even more frustrating is the poor customer service. I have made several attempts to contact the company to return the machine and resolve the issue, but I have received no adequate response. Communication has been slow, unhelpful, and in some cases completely absent.
It is very disappointing to invest in a premium appliance and then struggle to get basic support when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product or the company behind it. I hope they improve both the product quality and their customer service processes.
We have bought extended warranty which is useless.

I am sharing this so other buyers do not go through what we are experiencing with Rotimatic (by Zimplistic).
We returned our machine in December 2025 after being instructed by their support team due to repeated errors (which, honestly, their machines frequently have). We were promised a replacement within two weeks — expected delivery was the first week of January 2026.
It is now March 2026. We have received NOTHING.
After constant follow-ups, they claimed the replacement had been shipped and provided a tracking number. When we contacted the shipping company directly, we were told they never received any package from Rotimatic. The tracking number provided to us was invalid.
Since then, we have been following up for the past two weeks with:
• No response
• No clarification
• No accountability
This is extremely disturbing.
They sell expensive machines. They push customers to purchase extended warranties. When the machine develops errors (which happens often), they ask customers to send it back promising a replacement — and then the nightmare begins.
No transparency. No proper communication. No delivery. Just silence.
At this point, it feels like customers are being taken for granted and misled. The lack of response and the fake tracking information have completely destroyed our trust.
The customer service experience has been pathetic and deeply frustrating. We have been left without a machine for months after fully complying with their instructions.
To anyone considering buying from this company:
PLEASE read all customer reviews carefully before making a decision. Do your research. Think twice.
We just want our machine back — or a clear and honest resolution.

We ordered our Rotimatic back in November
We ordered our Rotimatic back in November and were given a delivery date of 8th February. Unfortunately, the product was not delivered on the promised date.
What is even more disappointing is the complete lack of communication. We have received no updates, no proactive explanation for the delay, and no response through chat or customer support channels. When customers pay in full upfront, the least expected is transparency and timely communication.
At this point, it feels like our money has been taken with no service provided. Delays can happen — we understand that — but ignoring customers is not acceptable.
We sincerely hope Rotimatic improves its customer service and communication process because this experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful.
