OMG, useless
OMG, Royal Mail's services can only be described as horrendous. I order two tracked 24 parcels yesterday, only one of them made it into this county (yet to see if they actually deliver). That matches my general experience of Royal Mail managing to realise it's commitments around half the time on average. It really isn't close to good enough and no wonder the business is struggling. Worse still, tracked 24 doesn't actually mean they guarantee that it will be delivered next day, just that they may attempt it if conditions are optimal, kind of thing. I have recently started to ask businesses which couriers they use and usually avoid those that rely on Royal Mail, where I possibly can anyway.
Post office delivery to.wrong address
I had a parcel delivered today from m and m. However it was delivered to someone else. The photo to prove it was delivered shows the parcel in full frame with hands holding it. No door or door number shown. No card was left saying it was left with neighbors however none of my neighbors have the parcel. This seems to be a scam by the post office operative. They need to sort it out.
What a joke
What a joke, when I saw email saying my parcel was being delivered by Royal Mail knew it would not arrive, again, could be bloody anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Royal Mail & Parcel Force are an absolute disgrace.
Claim Ref:11310828
In April using my local Post Office a TV was transported to the new buyer by Parcel Force who wrecked it in transport. On receipt the potential buyer told me it was wrecked & sent me photos of the damage.
I eventually received compensation from Royal Mail but only for the value & postage.
I have been trying since for over 4 weeks to receive some sort of redress for the time & inconvenience this has caused me, to no avail.
Royal Mail have not responded to at least 3 letters & an equal number of e mails I have sent them. I rang them today & was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get through. When I did, they were unable to confirm receipt of my correspondence & when I asked for the agent’s name, she promptly disconnected the call.
I now no longer have the time or energy to pursue my claim which I suppose is what Royal Mail want.
They are an absolute disgrace.
Royal Mail are Telling Fibs!
Like other compainants, Royal Mail are saying that they tried to deliver, but I wasn't in. However: A) I was in. B) No notification was placed through my letter box to say a delivery had been attempted; and C) My regular postman knows my safe place. I can only conclude that the information online is false. Ironically, this parcel has travelled safely across Europe without a problem, and gets list in Essex by Royal Mail!
Never ever ever use royal mail to post…
Never ever ever use royal mail to post a parcel smashed to smithereens dropped all packing broken all contents smashed this was wrapped for war. Seriously do not use royal mail no care no compensation worst courier postal service around. AVOID
Original documents lost…
I sent original documents by tracked 48. So, of course Royal mail has lost the envelope. My mother who is 82 will now lose out on vital funding to support her after a stroke.
Royal Mail strikes again.
Royal Mail strikes again.
Apparently Royal Mail have delivered a parcel to my home today and taken a photo of a white front door. My front door is black. Unable to get hold of anyone on the telephone, just am automated service with no option to talk to a customer service advisor- if I could leave no stars then I would.
A parcel collection failed collection
A parcel collection failed collection, rebooked and still not collected and they fail to email, message or phone confirming delays or non attendance leaving customers to remain home hoping item will be collected somewhat outside of time agreed. Service is at its worst peak and definitely don't intend to use this service as a first choice unless I have options.
Absolute disgrace - Lost my important documents to HMRC!
7I sent an extremely important letter containing all my sensitive personal information to HMRC on the 20th of May 2026 using their "Signed For" service.
Today is the 2nd of June, and the tracking number OK361946855GB is still stuck on "We've got it" at the Saxmundham Post Office. It hasn't moved an inch!
Because of your lazy and incompetent service, my private data is god knows where, and my tax profile is affected. I don't care about a £5 compensation; I need to know where my personal documents are! Disgusting service, completely unreliable and understaffed. Avoid Royal Mail if you are sending anything important!
Honestly i wouldn't use this lot
Honestly i wouldn't use this lot for anything.
24hr delivery takes 72hrs and 48hr can take a full week it means nothing , they just go 'we'll attempt to deliver in that time frame'. Not worth a penny of anyone's money.
Twice in two months waiting in all day…
Twice in two months waiting in all day with a time frame a parcel going to be delivered and does not why send estimate times and don’t follow through waiting in can’t move incase I miss it what a load of rubbish get your act together
Expecting a parcel gave my neighbours…
Expecting a parcel gave my neighbours address if I wasn't in they chucked it in my bin that was waiting to be emptied. And the writing on the card was unreadable like a 2 year old had written it

Yes, you can stop unaddressed leaflets and brochures (known as "Door to Door" mail) delivered by Royal Mail.
However, this opt-out only applies to unaddressed items and does not stop mail that is personally addressed to you or "The Occupier".
How to Opt Out with Royal MailDownload a form:
Print the opt-out form from the Royal Mail How to Opt Out of Advertising Mail page.
Submit: Complete, sign, and post the form to the address printed on it.
Royal Mail cannot process opt-outs over the phone.Timeline: It takes about 6 weeks for the leaflets to stop, and the opt-out lasts for 2 years.
Renew it after 2 years if still to block deliveries
The Royal mail with a 500year history …
The Royal mail with a 500year history cannot find my address but have delivered to a neighbour next door....I cannot even get through on the phone...they cut me off after 5mins.....absolute joke of a company
Absolute disgraceful company
Absolute disgraceful company
Received a signed for parcel, which driver signed for without knocking then posted through letter box on to concrete floor
Not good when recieving a tablet
Will never use again
I sent a drawing with Royal Mail to Germany in February. The tracking stopped updating after the local processing depot. I spoke to staff at Pokesdown who were polite but yielded no real help except to direct me to the website, assuring me that efforts would be made to locate it. Nothing happened. I made a claim for the £50 compensation to which I was entitled 2 months after it was missing. I received no reply from Royal Mail except for a confirmation that my claim had been received and that was 2 months ago. AWFUL service. I will never use Royal Mail again for anything of value. Since privatisation, this service has gone downhill, treating staff and customers poorly to maximise profits, very sad.
Vile company that steals your mail.
These people hang up the call and pretend they can't hear you. Right now, I am at 4 and a half hours on call, NO 5. They lost my mother's will, and I can't even complain about it. Do not use these people; they are scammers.
