At Sheldon safe store

We used Safestore Merry Hill for a short 8 week storage. We cleared the space after 7 weeks, before the half price offer finished ( it applied for 2 months). However, we were then informed we had to pay for another month at full price because apparently 14 days notice is required. Why? Safe store can now rent out the vacated unit for the month we paid for. To top it all we received an aggressive, threatening letter the very same day we vacated demanding payment even though a direct debit was set up at the start. Be very, very wary of using this facility.

Very simple to arrange and manage. Team at Winchester were really helpful and kept in touch re monthly renewal. Unit very clean and easy to access.

What a brilliant idea!! Having never used a storage unit and didn’t realise the benefit of having one with my move whilst I organised work to be done before moving in. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from both Ryan & Rach. They were very helpful on my initial enquiry then when that storage unit became too small they accommodated me moving to a larger unit.
Nothings a bother they both work together to provide an excellent service to their customers.

The facility is kept very clean and tidy at all times I would highly recommend Safestore at Hylton Riverside 😊

I had a very poor experience with Safestore Stanmore. After giving valid 14‑day notice to leave, they tried to charge me almost three extra weeks of storage and insurance, claiming “full‑period billing”. This term is not in the contract, not in their StoreProtect Addendum, and not in their published terms.
They even attempted to charge StoreProtect insurance for an empty unit, which makes no sense - insurance is for belongings, not empty space. When challenged, they could not point to any clause supporting their demands. This feels like an unfair and misleading billing practice. I would advise anyone using this branch to check every invoice very carefully.

Easy to sign up to. Mark and Abdullah were very helpful and I’m happy with the space I was allocated. There are trolleys to help you take your stuff to your unit and lifts.

I had a emergency & neded a space for my tricycle. I call them told them what I need & they suggested a parking space. The next next morning after coming back home from work i rented a parking space. At first I was afraid to leave my tricycle unattended because it didn't had a rail to attach my chain bike but everytime I came back it was exactly where I lefted. So overall it very good experience.

SAFESTORE is a lifesaver! There’s a super team at Staples Corner - we owe a big thank you to James A, James, Maurice, and Alex for making our move-in so easy. Their prices are also very reasonable and the premises are clean, secure and well lit.

At what is a very stressful time, Patrick and Miles have both made the experience seamlessly straightforward and I feel safe entrusting them with my belongings.

Positive face to face interaction with staff on duty

Really easy to get set up and use. Then building is new so everything is clean and tidy. Perry was incredibly helpful getting us sorted on the first day.
The unit space recommended was the perfect amount for all our stuff.

I would like to give special recognition to (ASIM at Safestore Brentford TW8 9DN).

ASIM was exceptionally helpful throughout my visit. He was polite professional patient and genuinely attentive to what I needed. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process straightforward and stress free.

His customer service was excellent from beginning to end. It is always noticeable when an employee takes real pride in helping customers and Asim certainly does.

Safe store should be very proud to have ASIM representing the company. He is a credit to the Brentford branch and fully deserves recognition for the high standard of service he provides.

I can’t thank Ulrick, Michael and Jamaal enough for everything they have done over the past few months. They have been incredibly helpful, understanding and supportive during an incredibly difficult time for my family.

My son, Daniel, sadly passed away after putting his belongings into storage at Safestore Chingford. The staff went above and beyond, kindly facilitating many visits from Daniel’s friends in such a sympathetic and compassionate way.

At a time when we were already dealing with unimaginable grief, their kindness and understanding took away so much of the additional stress. We will always be grateful for the care, patience and respect they showed us.
