Really don’t understand the poor reviews. Bought a Barbour jacket at a fraction of the price that it was being offered elsewhere. Ordered 10pm Wednesday evening and it was here by 4.30pm on Friday. Excellent quality and very quick delivery. Item ended up being too small (an oversight on my part). They have already arranged an exchange for a larger size and sent out a returns label. On a Sunday too ! Cannot fault the quality, price or service.

Blundstone boots. Quick order process, good communication on where my order was and arrived within 2 days, boots well packaged, very happy! Competitive price too !

Bought a Barbour jacket of them last week, saved £90 quid from store that I nearly bought from in town. Ordered on the Saturday arrived on the Monday, excellent service.

I then decided I wanted the matching hood again ordered it and it arrived 2 days later.

Bought some Muck Boots from this company which split at the side of the heel within a year of normal gardening use. Despite these boots having a one year guarantee they have refused to honour this suggesting they haven’t been ‘cleaned and treated’! I am old enough to have used wellington boots for many many years and none have split like this before so the rubber they use must be of very poor quality and therefore does not justify the premium price charged.

All companies that can't deliver to my mainland UK postcode deserve one star. Getting items to the Highlands is not rocket science, we are closer to this company's HQ than Cornwall is.

Bought some Haix boots in August 2023, by the middle of November 2023 all the eyelets had snapped rendering the boots unusable. Contacted Sam Turners & Sons directly three times and did not receive one reply. I have contacted Haix directly who are the same, got your money so don't care about after care. As such the company I work for will no longer buy anything from Sam Turner & Sons again, nor will be but Haix, Arbortec all the way going forward.

Purchased a barbour jacket online at a great price . Purchased Tuesday afternoon jacket arrived on Thursday free postage.

Popped in the Piercebridge store to buy a tree. Lots of choice at a reasonable price. When paying, I just happened to ask about NHS discount. A cheeky wee 10% off was applied. Great customer service.

Have used Sam Turner & Sons on many occasions, every time has been a great experience, Steve in parts is superb, he is so helpful and professional, great company with great staff.

Ordered a Stihl m170 chainsaw in August 2023.went wrong after 15 minutes use,sent it back and they would not repair it under warranty said it was my fault,how they work that out is beyond me.wouldn’t use this company again if you paid me

No problems at all when ordering from this company - very fast and efficient. Unfortunately my Ego mower quickly developed a fault and this is when my problems began. Multiple errors, things going to wrong addresses, constantly chasing for an update, it really seemed like a complete lack of organisation. Took about two months to be fixed and returned to me. Unfortunately it developed a fault again and I'm currently another two months in and still waiting for it back or a permanent replacement (they did get me a temporary one after a couple of weeks, more wrong deliveries and multiple times chasing). Real shame, and every now and then I do get someone who seems to care, but it's such a mess I couldn't possibly recommend, sorry.

Received a faulty lawnmower , i called numerous times each time i was being put through to someone , i was given a ticket for a call back , after 8 weeks still no response , the mower its self was seeping out petrol from from rubber and out the air filter , friend popped round and said he was surprised it hasnt caught fire

I ordered a 2 litre bottle of linseed oil, on the day of the order, the carriers advised that delivery would be the next day. 2 days later, it hadn't arrived so I 'phoned the suppliers fully expecting to get the usual runaround that we get when we issue 'phoned complaints, so I also sent a back-up e/mail whinge ….

After 3 rings a guy called Matt answered, checked on the package status, he assured me that it had been accepted by the carriers but it seemed to have been mislaid.

''Don't worry'' he said ''I'll send another out today and it will be with you tomorrow''. Then I had an e/mail from Jemma 'Leave it to me' she said.

The 'phone convo was yesterday at about 14:00 and half an hour ago, the replacement consignment was delivered.

Ordered a pair of boots from this retailer because they were the cheapest online price. Placed the order just after 2pm on Friday. The delivery arrived before 10am the following morning - astonishingly fast given we didn’t pay any extra for a priority delivery. Thanks for great service.

Ordered a Stihl long reach hedge trimmer on the weekend. The price was competitive. Delivery predicted Tuesday and amazingly arrived on Monday, all tracked by DPD with lots of notifications on delivery timescale.

Order arrived in a soaked cardboard box. One of the bottle tops was not properly tightened and leaked. Having emailed them there was no response, appalling customer service
