This is going to be long, bear with me.
My deceased partner had rented a VPS from this company some fifteen or so years ago. After his death in 2015 (yes, that is relevant) I didn't pay much attention to it (still paid the bills, one of my own domains was on that server, anyway). Starting in 2018 or so I tried getting rid of some of the domains and eventually the server itself because it caused all kinds of issues (constantly getting hacked, my email getting blacklisted and the like). I sent in a death certificate asking them to just cancel the contract and tell me how much I need to pay to get out. Well, that didn't work because God knows why.
In 2022 (or so) I decided to just let it lapse, have them terminate the contract on me due to non-payment, then pay them and be done with it. The contract did get terminated eventually, and I specifically asked the service representative to let me know how much I owe. She did, I paid and that was that.
Or so I thought.
In 2023 I get yet another bill for some domains that apparently are still active (WHY?), so I pay that bill as well and have the service rep cancel those domains. Which he did as he confirms in an email.
In 2024, I kept getting — I kid you not — payment reminders over some 40 or so Euros EVERY TWELVE HOURS over a few days. I called the hotline, some young woman told me that she will look into it, only to never hear from her again. So I, foolishly, figured that we're done and it was some kind of system glitch.
Today (March 5 2025) I received another payment reminder over some 57.000 Euro. That's right, FIFTY-SEVEN THOUSAND Euro for 2022-2024. That's harassment, and I'm now going to talk to lawyers.
Seriously, find another service provider, this is ridiculous.

Yes, I received the second email (after I wrote this review), but I don't see how this is relevant. This is an IT company, and they cannot even get their email system to not glitch out every six months? How am I trusting them with my web hosting that my business depends on? As for sorting things out: You had the last three years to sort things out. Also, check your mail.
RE the latest reply: So, apparently they deleted their first reply and sent this one instead. This is just weird. I'm not changing my review, I hope people find better service ISP elsewhere.

I come to show my total dissatisfaction against this company because I had a problem with a server a few days ago and the company offered me another server, instead of that one I accepted, but I have been facing several headaches because this server did not come to fruition. is what I need, I can't get my project to work, I just needed Almalinux minamal to be able to run everything but the company refused to provide me with the iso, I come here to warn everyone, don't hire anything from this company because they are not not even there you, if you can't get anything to work that it will chip.

Their whole servers are down for more than 24 hours . Neither given any update about the issue or uptime nor any response to the mails.
after their acquisition from godaddy they have many downtimes, their panel is outdated and their attitude against clients gives a feeling of absolute insecurity, they also have very old servers and do major works without first informing their clients, they have the best routing system in the world but do not use it for sales because they have no new hardware to provide for rental

After a month with a VPS from server4you without logging in to their controlpanel, i one day in May wanted to cancel my subscribtion with them. After a month i had forgot my username and password, hence being unable to log in. I take contact to server4you using messenger, but does not get any reply. Because of that, i choose to close my payment to them, expecting them to shut down my VPS. After a couple of reminders, they finally shut down everything, which is exactly as i expected and have experienced with many other hosting companies, without a problem.
But today i just received a claim from "TESCH mediafinanz", claiming the most ridiculous amount of money, without sending a mail, calling, or in any other way trying to get in contact with me beforehand, to solve this issue. That is the most absurd thing i have ever experienced in my entire life. And the worst thing is, that i never heard back from my question regarding getting into my account in MAY! After taking contact to server4you, i was rejected any help, or agreement. They simply dont care about customers.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE THIEVES!

I have contacted their customer support on live chat, whatsapp and messenger.....customer support rarely bothers to respond to me and tells me to send an email. I have emailed and not got a response for the past week. At this point I am being ignored by normal customer service and the billing team!
This is pure theft, appaling customer service. I will now have to challenge this payment with my bank and seek legal advice. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
