I was very happy with my visit to S E Tyres today,Sudbury Branch.
I had two new tyres fitted to my car which was done quickly and and a very good price.
All the staff were very helpful

I went to the shop in Farlington and had to leave my BMW with the guys while I nipped off to do other jobs.
The NSF tyre was dead flat and I was expecting a fairly hefty bill.
When I returned I was shocked and very pleasantly surprised that they had managed to do a repair and the cost was only a fraction of what I had planned for, true honesty and great service, highly recommended as they could have pulled my pants down but chose to be honest and look after the customer.
I didn’t get the young lad’s name but he was polite and very careful with my car and a great representative for SE Tyres!

Useless had tracking and ballanceing done and it's made steering worse then before .

Always good customer service the manager has been there for a long time,exactly knows how to treat all ages of customer's and trys to go over and beyond

I phoned ahead to ask if it was a good time to pop down and was told anytime today.
When i arrived a delivery van was unloading tyres, not one person had the decency to let me know how long the unloading would take, i left after 35 minutes.
Wont use them again, they are normally very reliable and friendly.

Went online 22 Sept, booked and paid for MOT for 4th Oct at 10.45am. Had confirmation email from SET. Arrived 10.30am Hailsham and met by 2 guys smugly saying was booked for 18th Oct, did not have the letter with me so agreed to come back, returned 18th and was told well you should have been here at 10.00am not 10.45am, so no MOT that day, asked for refund which arrived 12 days !! later. Had proof that they were in the wrong (i.e booked for 4th Oct at 10.45am)and their system was not working as it should, they were not interested, arrogant and dismissive. Never again......

After trying several tyre shops in Portsmouth, I finally found Setyres Portsmouth, and I’m glad I did. Their professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail truly stand out.

During my first visit for wheel balancing and alignment, they noticed that my rear wheel nuts were rusted and might snap — something no other shop had mentioned. Their clear advice and care impressed me. Since then, I’ve returned for tyre replacement and routine checks, and every time, they’ve provided expert, cost-effective service.

Been using the Portsmouth branch fir last 10 years everytime I've been they have been excellent. Got some really good lads working there!

Went to SETYRES Maidstone today with a puncture / a nail through my tyre. After a short wait, as they were very busy, it was repaired and for only £30. Good service, good price, very happy.

I had a very disappointing experience with SE Tyres Heathfield.

In July, I booked a diagnostic for a check engine light. I was told there was a major electrical fault and requested a quote to fix it, along with a cambelt replacement. I received a quote (around £500) and booked the earliest appointment for 20th August.

When I collected the car, I discovered the check engine light was still on. No one had contacted me to clarify or confirm the work, and when I called the next day, I was told the cambelt replacement was just routine maintenance and would not fix the issue. This was extremely frustrating, as my initial request had clearly been to repair the fault.

Worse still, I was told I could keep driving the car. A second opinion at another garage revealed the real issue was the alternator—and the car was not safe to drive. This left me without a car for longer than expected, cost me more money, and caused unnecessary disruption to my work.

I found the service unprofessional and dismissive. I won’t be returning, and I’ll be discouraging friends and family from using them.

On the 22nd July I booked and had a MOT carried out. It's with regret as being a customer with SETYRES Maidstone for 20 years and being in the past very pleased with the service I won’t be returning. I would highly recommend you follow their advise and that you remove all items even in your boot from your vehicle before leaving it with Maidstone SETYRES !!

Quick and easy, good value

Great customer service today st Setyres in Totton, Southampton. The guy looked at my car because it sounded like a tank, I thought the exhaust was hanging off, he advised it was a corroded heat shield, which he removed for me in seconds, with no charge. Cannot thank you enough. Excellent service from this company.

I usually only leave reviews to complain but I was very impressed with setyres in Tunbridge Wells. Both the guy on the service desk and the technician were very nice and professional. I hadn't used setyres before but will certainly be returning for my MOT.

Phoned Lancing branch for price on front wheel alignment, was quoted £35, told to go to seafront branch, no appointment needed. Went down within the hour to have the tracking done, was then told the cost when paying, £45! Questioned the invoice but was told 'that was the price, I must have been told wrong'.Seems to be one price over the phone, another when you have the work done. Please be aware!

Used Blackfen branch. This is the second time they have told a female that a nail in tyre means straight away no repair and that a new tyre is needed! Not even prepared to take it off to have a look. Went elsewhere and they repaired it straight away ! No need for new tyre! Females beware
