I was not informed at the time of purchase that I was creating an automatic renewal for knife sharpening. There is no opt-out unless I guess you order and then cancel. Not professional and unethical. So their solution is to send me envelopes since I'm tricked into doing business with them. Not going to happen. Clearly, they rely on this trick to stay in business.

Packaging was excellent. Knives were well protected. Turn around time was very good. Knives were really sharp.

My knives are gone! Sharpenters provided an envelope that ruptured during transit and all of the knives were lost. The Company freely admits that this problem has occurred in the past yet they continue to claim that the provided envelope is sufficient to transport knives. Worse, Sharpenters did not offer to replace the knives and was quick to blame the USPS and directed me to some fine print on their website. Terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and use someone local and stay away for this company!

Receipt of original package was quick and return of sharpened knives was excellent! Knives were definitely back to sharp condition.

I sent in four knives. Three expensive Japanese hand forged cooking knives and a Benchmark folding knife I carry. All 4 came back sharp enough to cut paper. I actually tested all 4 this way. Very impressed!

I am a professional oboe player. Oboists use highly specialized beveled reed knives to make oboe reeds. The angle and evenness of the bevel is imperative. After months of use, it has to be re-established.
Sharpenters clearly understood the issue and did an absolutely gorgeous job re-surfacing my knives. Thank you, Sharpenters!

Incredibly easy to send knives, quick turnaround, and knives sharper than ever before.

Sent in four knifes,a global with a single bevel and old onieda serated carver, two victonox chefs. The global was sharpened nicely with a single bevel but not the fine polish of a new one. The victonox both got a good sharp working edge. The old seated onieda carver was just sharpened not really reseated just a good edge, it is 30 years old so maybe the best they could do. So in summary basic knifes excelent, high end specialty knife good and serated just ok.

Easy - Good Price Per Knife - Fast Return

First experience with them was in 11/23. Now comes 11/24 and unannounced I received a mailing envelope for knives and a charge made to my credit charge. When I complained I was informed that I agreed to an annual subscription program with my original order. I do not recall any such agreement. They could not explain why no notice had been sent prior to their sending current envelope which would have allowed me to cancel. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income. I do not need this overpriced item, but they refuse to reimburse my credit card. It may be a problem that is my fault, but their refusal to assist indicates a real lack of effort on their part to do the right thing. Needless to say, I would never do business with them again!

Communication and support team is great. We had a bit of a snafu, and they handled it with skill and caring. I’ll use this service again. For now, I’m ready for holiday cooking!

My knives are better than new. I had several damaged blades and they were perfectly repaired and sharpened.
