Had to wait an hour at the airport. No-one could tell us when the coach would depart so we were unable to spend the time in a cafe. The journey took well over two hours despite us being told that it would only take one hour 10 minutes. The return journey was quicker but we arrived at the airport far too early and had to wait a long time for check-in to open. We asked for a later departure from the hotel but were told that it was not possible.

Shuttle Direct do not deliver direct transport from airport to hotel and vice versa. My trip on 3rd March from Tenerife South airport to my hotel in Playa de Las Américas took long than it should. I sat in one of the seats and leaned back, nearly falling into the passenger behind where the seat was so worn out. We spent the first part of the trip going around the same roundabout and past the same restaurant three times, in Los Cristianos , before we dropped anybody off. At the second stop, still in Los Cristianos, we had to change coaches and coach driver. Luckily we then went on to Playa de las Americas and I was off the coach after one more stop. Some people were still on the coach.
The journey back was much smoother. The pick-up at the hotel was 15 minutes after the scheduled time, but no problem for me. Plus the pickups going to the airport were much better and faster.
I do expect a shuttle service to have a few or many stops but I don’t expect to have to change coaches or go round in circles looking for a drop off or pick up place.

Let down by rude passengers!
I'm writing this review on behalf of my friend who i made the booking for. She said the driver was lovely and very helpful, however the trip took approximately 2.5hrs because a number of guests either weren't ready or hadn't turned up for their collection. The coach arrived 10mins early for my friend, but as instructed, we arrived 10mins before the due time so that was fine. What isn't acceptable is people making the coach wait and then not even apologising to the driver or other passengers for delaying their journey, this is just rude. Drivers should leave if guests do not turn up on time so that no one else is impacted. The coach itself was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Don't use this company for ski transfers in France
Lengthy but necessary review if considering a ski transfer with this company.
We were very happy with our pick up from Grenoble and drive up to Serre Chevalier. Unfortunately the journey home was a different story. Our flight was at 8pm and when we booked, our collection time was 15:25. There are 2 routes from Grenoble to Serre Chevalier: around the Alps- approx 3.5 hours in good traffic or approx 2 hours via the D1091 which had been closed the day before we were due to travel due to high winds and avalanche risk. We contacted the company the day before, expressing concern about our pick up time given that the road may be closed. We were assured by SAS GYR the local company that Shuttle Direct outsource to, that they were monitoring the road conditions and would adjust our pick up time accordingly. They also acknowledged that there was the possibility of a road closure again. On departure morning, an early check of the official french traffic website told us that the road was indeed closed. Only at lunchtime did we receive communication from them to say that "we had a problem " and that he would not be able to get us there on time as the road was closed". If this had been monitored as we wrongly assumed it was, we could have arranged our own transport, not ideal seeing as we had paid approx E1300 for the return trip. At this point we were basically told by head office in Spain (rudely) that it was our problem and there was nothing they could do to help. We had to sort ourselves out a new plan and Shuttle Direct would reimburse us. The comms with the driver were sporadic and it became clear we were stranded and the driver said had been driving since 2am. Not what you want to hear when you are transporting your children down a mountain road. Essentially we were left high and dry. We booked the next flight home which was from Turin and asked the driver when he eventually was to arrive, to take us there. We were then told this would be an additional E500 to what we had already paid. Lucky for us (to be honest and the poor driver who had been working well over EU regulation hours), a receptionist at a local hotel found us a new, cheaper taxi. As we had now missed our window to catch our flight, this was £1500 in a new taxi, flight and overnight hotel. The punchline....Shuttle Direct claimed "Force Majeure" for a planned road closure and refused to reimburse us, we are now claiming from our insurer. Avoid like the plague. They were overbooked and greedy so had no way of flexing their schedule.

long waits and too mnay pick ups
Shame, bus had a space but i was told to board the next one, where sat from an hour whilst another passenger smoked..
Far too many drop offs (and same for pick ups) making the journey far too long.
Bus was clean, staff were efficient, but for far less cost could have spent a fraction of the price on the public bus, and got there considerbaly quicker too.
Probaly would not use again.

Fine in the end, but not without stress.
Upon arrival at Tenerife South I was unsure where to go for my shuttle and my flight had been delayed by 2 hours. I asked at an information desk and was notified of the rendezvous point, then it was quite easy to find the shuttle and got you our accommodation no problem, albeit after several stops at nearby hotels within Playa de las Americas which were within easy walking distance of ours. It was a hassle-free process which was helpful.
However, on the return journey things were more stressful. I rang the day before to arrange collection time and place and arrived at the Alexander Gala at least 10 mins before the pickup time. 5 mins after the arranged time, the shuttle had not arrived, so I called the number on the voucher to ask for an ETA. I was asked why I had not phoned the emergency number. My answer was simply that it was only 5 mins late and I did not yet consider it an emergency. I was told it would be another 15 mins as there was heavy traffic. After that time, still no sign of the shuttle so I rang again (this time the emergency number, as my flight time was approaching) and was told there were still lots of hold-ups and they would get to me as quickly as possible. I waited longer and then aas about to book a taxi as I was worried I might not make my flight. I called the emergency line one more time and they said the bus would arrive any minute and would certainly be with me before a taxi, so I held off and the shuttle did eventually arrive, over 30 mins late, by which time I was feeling quite anxious.
The driver put me at ease and said he would make up time to the airport and we were then dropped off some 20 mins later, still with plenty of time to get through security and catch our flight home. So all worked out well in the end, despite some stress.

I had a paid reservation for a shuttle for 4 people from Singapore Airport to the Singapore Cruise Center. Upon arrival, the driver was not there holding a sign with my name. We waited for half an hour and all four of us tried to locate him without success. Eventually, we had no choice but to queue and take two taxis to reach our destination. Moreover, the two taxis cost me more than the shuttle I had reserved. Despite this bad experience, Shuttle Direct refused to refund me for the useless reservation that they failed to honor. A taxi only arrived after we made numerous phone calls.
I would not recommend this company. We booked a taxi (order ref nr: #1773647692) the evening before for the following morning through the website and received a payment confirmation and email confirmation. However, in the morning no driver arrived and we never received any confirmation that the pickup had actually been arranged.
We were in Turkey and had limited internet access, so contacting them was very difficult. After making many phone calls to the number provided in the booking, we were told that it is not even possible to book transport earlier than 24 hours before the trip through their system. Unfortunately, their website still allowed us to place the booking about 8–10 hours before the journey and accepted our payment.
Eventually a taxi only came after numerous phone calls and a lot of stress. Overall, this was a very unprofessional and unreliable service. I would not trust this company again.
