The service of Sixt was great from the time you talk to their agent until the vehicle was released, everything was so fast, convenient and easy. Upon return of vehicle, it was so seamless and no hassle! Very fast and the agents i encountered upon vehicle pick-up and return are so friendly and very accommodating. Of course, the car given was so good and still quite new. No hassles in our travel! I really recommend them whenever you need to rent a car!

Great customer service and car selection

I am writing to share my feedback regarding a recent rental experience at your Chicago O'Hare location.

I had a great experience renting from Sixt. From the car selection to the excellent customer service I received—from picking up the rental to turning it back in—the entire process was seamless and enjoyable.

I highly recommend this location and appreciate the high level of service provided by your team.

As always....amazing service

As always....amazing service. Fast...reasonably priced. Very safe and clean ,New vehicles. Great variety. Upgrades are affordable and easy. You don't need to ever stand in line. Very convenient. I will keep using Sixt, even though I have many military and or nurse discounts at other rental companies. I just love em.

Sixt at PDX 2 Thumbs Up

I rented from Sixt at PDX and have nothing but great things to say. The Wendi helped us at the counter and was absolutely amazing. She upgraded my rental because they didn’t have any available vehicles in the range I requested for gas mileage. She also upgraded us so both of my adult children (older than 25) could drive as well.

The vehicle was super clean and ready by the time we reached the kiosk. The vehicle drove nice and had a smooth ride, much nicer than any of our four flights.

Our return was quick and easy. I didn’t catch the woman’s name who helped us check it back in upon return, but she was immediately ready as we drove it through the camera machine and parked it in the specified location.

My deposit was removed prior to the actual transaction on my CC and I am completely satisfied with the entire experience I had with this company.

Thank you Sixt for helping make a difficult situation a bit easier by keeping me from dealing with the stress of bad customer service. Everyone I dealt with was professional, polite and invaluable during my involvement with Sixt.

I was forced to use another company…

I was forced to use another company paid 696.00 plus security deposit which I thought was a bit much for the week but I understand because it was spring break and I didn’t have a reservation and was force to go to this company or pay 1600$ for a week which enterprise. Overall the experience was great but I ended up not needing the rental car less time then I thought so when I called to return car a day early they only gave me $20 for the day when I should have got the full day back and I never used any gas that I prepaid for so they should have refunded it. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, easy to pick up and drop off but they do need more then staff to help when it gets busy

This car rental service was exceptional and the agent was amazing, efficient and friendly. The agent we had Eve was the most attentive and helpful agent we have ever met. We cannot express our gratitude to her and this rental service:Best car rental service ever.

This was one of the worst rental…

This was one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had with any company.

Upon arriving to pick up my rental, the staff member assisting us, Jonathan, was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional toward both my family and other customers. The vehicle we were given was absolutely unacceptable, completely filthy, with stains on the seats, a terrible odor (a mix of what smelled like feces, dirty mop water, and smoke), and visible damage including dents and missing interior pieces.

We immediately complained and requested another vehicle. At first, our concerns were brushed off, and even after Jonathan agreed to provide a different car, we were left waiting outside in the heat for over 30 minutes while he socialized with coworkers, after a long day of travel.

During this process, Jonathan also repeatedly implied that we would be responsible for damages to the vehicle, even though we had purchased a collision damage waiver. He specifically stated we would still be responsible for at least a $1,000 deductible, which added unnecessary stress and confusion given the coverage we had already paid for.

At that point, we decided we could not safely or reasonably proceed with the rental and left. We were taken back to the airport by shuttle.

During the shuttle ride back, the driver shared that issuing vehicles in filthy condition is apparently a recurring issue at this location. He also mentioned that he has recommended a different cleaning method he was familiar with from a previous employer, but that his suggestions have been ignored by management.

What makes this experience even worse is that I was still charged an odd, confusing amount by the company--even though I never drove the car off the lot due to its condition. I have had to deal with partial refunds and unclear billing that does not make sense for a rental I never used.

For context, I have rented with this same company in other cities, including Los Angeles and Orlando, and those experiences were completely different--professional service and clean, well-maintained vehicles. This location does not reflect that standard at all.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to avoid this location entirely.

Don’t do the prepaid gas, it is a scam

We purchased our sixt rental through Expedia. When we got to the front desk, they explained how much it would save us to pre-pay our gas because it was cheaper through sixth. We did the pre-pay. Because of the prepaid they impose an additional $9.95 and some made up taxes. Prepay is not more cost efficient, it is a scam to add more taxes and get more money from them.

Be aware of Sixt rental

We rented from sixt out of Amsterdam and had a wonderful expirence with Zari. Upon return to Frankfort at the central station we were not given any receipt until a day later at which time they showed damage to the edge of the passenger door. The camera scan could not show any damage to that area on the way out of Amsterdam Airport. Unfortunately this ruined what would have been a very good expirence and I found it distasteful to use normal wear and tear to squeeze money out of trusting foreign travelers.

No refund or voucher when things go wrong.

No problem with the car rental or vehicle provided. The staff at Sixt Redondo Beach California was the highlight of my experience. All of the agents were professional friendly and extremely helpful. Unfortunately due to personal reasons I had to return the vehicle one day early. I reached out to Sixt for a one day refund or a voucher for my next rental. They did not agree and that has been disappointing. The rental car business has lots of competition so my next rental will probably not be with Sixt.

Overall this is one the best rental car…

Overall this is one the best rental car companies that I have used. The process for picking up the vehicle was very fast, I was offered a upgrade for a decent price. The vehicle was very clean and it was exactly what I needed for transporting a volleyball team members in Boston for the weekend.

The only issue that was noted was that the vehicle did not start on numerous times and there was a problem with the parking brake. To remedy the problem, I turn the car off and started it again and it was fine.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the vehicle that I rented..

Over experience was great a busy Easter…

Over experience was great a busy Easter Day all the major brands had 30 plus customers on line 3 people in line and the process was fast issued a BMW 2 series I felt great the kicker was the surprise fees for a quote $67 rental my final cost was was $178 more then double $47 for 2 liters of gas that’s crazy the other fees I get it so maybe double the price but $30 over double the price is extreme something to look at I honestly will use the service again but I did feel a bit robbed. The money is one thing but a customer shouldn’t feel taken advantage of it should all be up front any possibility of extreme charges the info on web isn’t clear on specific charges.
