Great time on Fuerteventura

All was ok, again. The Agent with patient and profession several times advice me regarding the additional insurence telling what really matter and where during our trip in Fuerteventura. Also gave a lot of point worth to see during our vacation. Without a car there is no sense exploring Fuerteventura.

We needed a rental car last minute

We needed a rental car last minute, we had never heard of this company, got in line and Gina at the Fort Myers airport was phenomenal! Never did I think I would be driving a luxury car inexpensively for a week so that was a huge treat. We also dealt with Jeff at the Fort Myers airport with some questions later and he was also outstanding. I would highly recommend SIXT and we will be using them in the future!

Great experience

Great experience. Very friendly reception here in Sofia. The staff are fluent in English. Easy pick-up and drop-off, and my deposit was returned to me in no time. Would definitely use Sixt again and recommend them to anyone needing a car here in BG.

The (self appointed)President of Sixt's Fan Club says...

Let me just say that I travel within thr US quite a bit. I have rented at least 12 cars in 2025. I used to hunt for the best rate and just go with that, until I rented from Sixt. And now? I will rent from them exclusively if at all possible. Here is why;
There's no hidden fees or deceptive padding of the bill. I pay for what I get. No mystery charges or outrageously inflated toll charges. One of the big rental companies charged me 100.00 to bill me 5.88 on tolls incurred during rental. Another rented me an unsafe vehicle which I could not safely drive and tried to charge me 1500.00 to tow it away. Not SIXT. They do good business. They hire smart, kind, cheerful professionals who are empowered to make decisions and trained to actually help your rental experience go smoothly. Every car from SIXT has been clean, comfortable and safe. Every counter person has been friendly, relaxed and helpful. Next time you're standing at the rental counters at the airport, look at the Budget staff. Look at the Thrifty and Enterprise staff. Are they smiling? Are the lines moving swiftly and with good outcomes? Now look at the Sixt counter!! And look at their happy customers!! Don't waste another moment on those other companies. The folks at Sixt are the best.

This is by far one of the worst…

This is by far one of the worst Customer service based company i have dealt with in over 40 years. Vehicle was running terribly. I contacted customer service multiple times. I did not feel safe driving back to the location i picked up the Vehicle. I took the vehicle back to another location and after talking with a employee in person and they inspected the vehicle, they said i would not be charged for dropping off at another location and would be comped for my troubles. Instead, Sixt has charged my CC for almost $1200 for 5 days. I’ve emailed 3 times since this outrageous charge and have still not heard back.

I had a terrible experience with this…

I had a terrible experience with this location. I specifically cleared a 6:00 PM Friday return with a representative and agreed to pay for an additional day to make it happen. However, when I arrived on Friday, the branch was closed. The representative did not tell us that that 6pm time would not work for a Friday return and it was never communicated to us that we would have to go to a different location to return it.

I was forced to drive out of my way to the airport to return the car. While a phone representative assured me I wouldn't be charged for the inconvenience, they lied. I was hit with a one-way fee anyway. I’ve tried reaching out through three different channels to resolve this, and I’ve been completely ignored. Save yourself the headache and the hidden fees—rent elsewhere.

Take pictures before you leave the lot with your car

When you pick up your car make sure you look it over VERY carefully and take photos and/or videos before you drive off in it. When I returned my rental after 2 weeks with NO incidents, a “new” scratch was flagged. I then had to go through the damage claim process with Sixt, which is all automated so you will have no chance of convincing anyone that you didn’t damage the car. My credit card insurance covered the cost, but the whole experience felt like Sixt is trying to collect as much money as possible from their customers and/or their insurance companies. I rented the car in NY but the estimate for repairs came from a company in GA, and I have a hard time believing the fix will even be completed as it was a small cosmetic scratch that had no impact on the functionality of the car. The word for that is SCAM. This was the first and will be the last time I rent with Sixt.

It was a new experience for me renting…

It was a new experience for me renting from SIXT for a 44-day trip in Florida. Their customer service was excellent, online process easy and the value for the level of car I rented was outstanding. No annoying upsells with this company. Hope to use them again in future.

I never make a single scrach on the car

I rent the car on03/17/26 and returned on 04/05/26 . I purchased with my Expedia One Key card and denied the Sixt collision ins. I have protected Auto rental Collision Damage waiver with my Key one card. My return rental agreement n: 9608883448 . Today 04/08 /26 I got leter from. SIXT to fill up a firm for damage which is pre- existing on the report which I never sghn to send it to them. This was my 1 st time renting a car with my clean driving record in state of NJ for 30 years. The scrach they mentioned are Aluminum Rim front driver site Dent 10 sm. And Pasenger side scratch. On the report I saw this scraches after I read the report and now they claimed that I did them. I didn't filled the form . By the way on the first office the agent give me paperwork and a car which I never purchased online order abig GMC giant car insisted a medium car with a normal shift. When I saw the car ,I realized that I can't drive this monster car and ask the agent on P1 location to give me a smaller car. He was kind and understanding my point ,but give ne a key without saying nothing ,just show me the lot where the car is parked. I didn't know that I have to sigh a report how I am getting the car with those scratches at that time. I have a scrinshot of the report and a few pictures on my gallery on my phone. What I should do about this matter if I am not responsible for those 2 scratches. ? M. Ivanova Mc.
