SKECHES slip in waterproof shoes. Not fit for purpose

Great for a start but after a few wears these shoes leak all over the fabric uppers. SKECHES replaced the first pair but now I have three pairs all leaking.

However, if you it’s difficult to bend over all these slip ins are fantastic - an absolute godsend - easy to slip foot into effortlessly. Foot stays in with no slipping or rubbing.

Made an order online on 06/10, had no choice but to pay for express shipping. By the 08/10 I hadn’t heard anything about it being shipped even thought delivery should’ve been 1-3 days. Contacted them via chat on their website to find out what’s going on only to be told there was a glitch and the order was never sent to the website, instead of sending it then and apologising they instantly cancelled the order and issued a refund, I said I wanted the order and they sent the link to their website and said feel free to order, after this experience I didn’t trust doing another order so instead they lost half the business as a store close to us had one of the shoes in stock so they got that order, even though when I went to purchase them they looked and the picture on my phone and instantly said don’t have them in stock, I said the website says you do, and when they checked they had the exact size I wanted, didn’t even ask what size before trying to tell me no. So I still was able to purchase the cheapest pair in person for a family member but wasn’t able to purchase for myself as I didn’t want to venture into the city for a pair of shoes, this was their chance to get my business back as I am really tough on shoes and wanted to give them another go but now they miss out.

Very poor quality, foam in the slipping area has fallen apart.
The shoe part has split away from the sole.
All in all very dissatisfied, not fit for purpose and expensive, so don’t bother.

3 week old shoes, falling apart. Bought fromTacoma store, will not replace. I have to MAIL THE SHOES to corporate for an evaluation. Un real. Don't buy

Trainers delivered tab attatched right where you have to put your foot so had to remove to try on. Didnt fit so packaged straight backup. Had to chase Sketchers after 14 days. They said they were worn/damaged. Buyer beware.

Louise Haycock in the Sketchers outlet in Gloucester has gone above and beyond to help me with an issue I have, her customer service is exemplary.

The service we’ve received at this store has always been second to none.

Louise Haycock is an immense asset to your brand, had it not been for her, I would never have considered shopping with Sketchers again.

Not recommended at all – avoid.
I bought these Skechers shoes about 2–3 months ago and only wore them once, but the bottom already turned yellow. I lost my receipt, explained this over the phone, and was told to visit the shop. The manager refused a return, claiming there was a “detergent smell,” which is not true as I never washed them.

Not great customer service either – I know they could process a return without a receipt if they wanted to. Very disappointing experience.

I've worn loads of pairs of sketchers, but the last pair I bought from shoe zone, the left shoe has like a bobble inside it on the inside of the shoe,making it get increasingly more uncomfortable as the day goes on. I was already beyond the 45 day return period when I started wearing them as I stuck with the previous pair until they were absolutely worn out. Shame, it's put me off. Ready for another pair now as I don't know if they don't seem to last as well, or its just I have them on 10 hours a day?

I called into fosse park, Leicester branch. Emma served me and she was very helpful and efficient, also very busy, at one point she was dealing with two other customers as well as me. Nothing was too much trouble for her and I bought two pairs of shoes which I am extremely happy with. In this day and age it is nice to see good old fashioned customer service.

Super cheap quality shoes that fall apart! DONT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY!! & I was the sketchers founders family’s private butler for a week at an exclusive San Diego resort they were staying at. Founder/Owner was the most mean/evil person I’ve ever met! Was so mean to his family, never even saw him talk to his family in the whole week I was with them. Owner is a miserable human! I worked so hard having to load all their food onto a cart & bring it far away to the mansion on property they were renting for the week. Did an excellent job of accommodating all their difficult demands , and the owner not only never said a word to me the whole week even when I was smiling & friendly saying good morning every day, he wouldn’t even look at me. Then despite him being a billionaire & I myself being a hard working single mother of 2 barely making ends meet, he didn’t leave me a PENNY gratuity for my week of very hard work serving their family! So I PAID to be abused by the Sketchers owner whereas the IRS assumes I received at least a 10% tip & taxed me on it! He even allowed his 16 year old daughter to drink alcohol and smoke marijuana! Sketchers founder is the most horrible person I’ve ever encountered! He’s so unhappy & mean despite all his $$, he’s the prime example “ money can’t buy you happiness”

Delivery is absolutely shocking! Over a week to receive and two of those days they gave me a scheduled time so I changed my day to accommodate and they never turned up... Two wasted days thanks for nothing! Will not be buying from you guys again!

Koey (one of the staff members in Southampton Westquay) was sooooo helpful and had a bundle of knowledge on each shoe. She listened carefully to our issues (e.g extra wide shoes) and found shoes that complemented us. Each of her suggestions got better and better as we progressed. We were able to find a pair of shoes and socks to go with it, which I am very grateful for as I had been struggling for awhile.

Only after two months, the inside wore out. It also gives an uncomfortable feeling to my feet from below when I am walking. The customer service told me that only if I kept the receipt would they respond to me at all.

Why did I not listen to my wife? She had a terrible experience with a pair of Skechers several years ago. After a few weeks she developed terrible pain in the sole of her foot. Stopped wearing her Skecher sandals and it went away.
Skip to the last year and months of pain I put down to being overweight but in fact the finger of suspicion points firmly at the Skecher shoes I have been wearing. The plantar fasciitis provoked has been so debilitating I despaired of walking in comfort again. My new Merrell walking shoes have worked wonders and I see a future where I can walk.

Do yourself a favour and never wear a pair of these shoes as a quick review of online sources will reveal just how poor arch support is across their range.

As for my pair they are in the bin - I decided to spare another person the agony of if I had given them to charity!

My wife and I each purchased new Sketchers Slip-ins late February, 2025. The bottoms of her shoes wore out so quickly, she threw them away after 5 months!! My shoes have lasted longer, however, the bottom sole is smooth after 6 months! I called customer service to tell them our experience and their only answer was that shoe wear is dependent on how much you wear your shoes!! I said I would at least expect them to last 1 year. I am seeking alternatives to Sketchers as they offer zero help to their customers.

Hopeless customer service.. return process is overly complex, no UK support at all... dreadful. Avoid.

I bought a pair of Skechers Work Slip-ins and was shocked at the quality. After just one day of use, the inner heel lining was already peeling away.
These are marketed as durable work shoes, yet they didn’t even last 24 hours.

I expected far better from a brand like Skechers. Very disappointing experience — I cannot recommend them, and I will not be buying Skechers again.

I used to like Skechers but I will never buy from them again. My $95 shoes developed a hole in the inner sole and the foam under the sole started breaking up after only 5 months. The store where I bought them said it was 'fair wear and tear'! What sort of shoes last 5 months of light use?
I also complained online and they took all sorts of details including photos - but they NEVER get back to you.
I am just about to go to consumer affairs.

Really outdated processes ! I have received incorrect product and they won’t send correct products until I return these and receive a refund and then have to re order the items again ! Laughable !
