They sent me the wrong item and I have been trying for 4 weeks to get in touch - they never reply to emails (I have sent 4 so far) or answer the phone. Their voicemail is often full (probably from so may people complaining) so its difficult to call and leave a message (they never answer the phone). Dreadful company
Small shop was absolute carnage with two kids screaming and running around, despite this, the young man helped my daughter find the correct sizes for her new uniform. We were told to call on results day and pay over the phone. Very old fashioned system, made all the worse by the fact they never answer the phone and I had to keep calling them despite being in Spain on holiday. Eventually I asked a family member to go there to pay and collect the uniform. She was kept waiting for ages and even then not all of the ordered uniform was in stock. Their whole system is a disaster quite frankly. It's 2025, we should be able to pay and order online.
Awful experience. I ordered two PE bags without embroidery and two pairs of socks online more than 2 months ago and I still haven't received my order. They do not pick up the phone or answer emails! Have been trying to reach them for three weeks now!! School starts in a week and I am at a loss what to do.

Now I understand why you can't find any reviews for Smartypants Schoolwear in Brentwood. No one has anything good to say. In a nutshell the business lacks any form of customer focus, they have impractical collection policies and will not accommodate any request outside of these. Don't be surprised if you are met with aggressive and rude behaviour. Not a positive customer experience and I won't be using them again. Find an alternative supplier who wants to look after their customers and works to obtain your repeat business
