Missing Item - Failure to address
I ordered an item from Spinnaker Boutique as a Christmas present for my wife.
When the parcel arrived, the outer box was intact but completely empty – the item I paid for was not inside.
I contacted Spinnaker immediately and, after a lot of chasing and back and forth, I was told that courier tracking, parcel weight and their own internal checks showed the item had been shipped correctly, so there was nothing more they could do.
They have never provided any proof that the product was actually in the box when it reached me, yet they have refused to offer either a replacement or a refund.
The failure to deliver the item and the manner in which they have dealt with the issue are both deeply unsatisfactory

The item you ordered was duly processed, packed, and shipped following our standard security procedures. As already communicated to you multiple times, courier tracking data, recorded parcel weight at dispatch, and our internal warehouse checks all confirm that the parcel left our premises correctly prepared and containing the purchased item.
Following your claim — and the subsequent chargeback you filed with your credit card provider — we submitted the full documentation to both you and your bank. This included shipping confirmation, carrier weight records, and internal verification reports. These elements are objective and traceable data provided by the courier and our logistics system.
For legal and privacy reasons, we are not able to disclose every internal operational detail publicly; however, all required evidence has been formally provided within the chargeback procedure. We are fully cooperating with the financial institution handling the case and are confident that the documented facts speak for themselves.
We take claims of missing items extremely seriously. At the same time, we must also protect our company against unfounded or fraudulent claims when objective evidence confirms correct fulfillment.
We remain available to cooperate with the competent authorities or financial institutions involved in this matter.
