Non delivery

I have been chasing Splashdirect by email (this is now the only method of contact available) and have received an automated reply stating they have ceased trading even though their web site is still live...beware.

Got there in the end BUT no refund on my delivery charge!

Ordered my toilets as I was let down by my previous provider. ordered what I thought was one day delivery, to only find out that it would be delivered 5 days later. no communication between, courier drivers and company to customer, I had to chase for 2 days before I got an answer (their 'new' way of contact is via email only!) finally got my order delivered BUT they did not refund the amount I paid for "next day" delivery. they told me that I would have a refund but nothing yet (3 weeks and counting!).
Not happy with this service as they have taken my money and have not given it back as they promised!

poor communication and late delivery

no phone number to actually talk to somebody about an issue. have to discuss everything via email so have to wait for an answer. delivery wasn't next day (which is what i paid for), toilet was ordered on a Wednesday and came on the following Monday when i was told it would arrive on the Friday. My email was completely ignored about asking for some kind of refund as i paid for next day delivery, which i didn't get. shocking

Do not touch with a bargepole, They have a website and will tempt you with 25% off but they dont exist. Paid through paypal so started a dispute and hopefully get a full refund. Avoid at all costs.

In Administration

Please steer clear of this company. After our order didn't materialise and after no reponse from the company to my emails (they won't do business over the phone anymore) I did some investigation and found this company went into administration in Nov 2014. The administrators obviously thought the best way of recouping money would be to continue to run the business. I suspect people are getting part or incorrect orders as the administrators are probably just running down remaining stock. We have now initiated a chargeback dispute with our bank (sadly we paid by debit card not credit card) apparently we're not the first to do so. Hopefully we'll get some of our money back.

F-word, C-word, S-word, X-word (not sure about that one)

MY honest experience is one of absolute shock that a company so bad as this can ask for a review, what are they a bunch of sadists?

No contact phone number no reply to e-mails (that's a joke they say 24 working hours to reply to an e-mail I suppose they work a 1 hour week!)

How can this company expect to stay in business when you have no way of contacting them, they just take your money, don,t deliver the goods you have paid for and think they are untouchable: not for much longer!

Another mug

Purchased a sink last month, arrived damaged. Contacted them they said would send out a replacement, now two weeks later only to find out they have ceased trading. Sink cost £36 so not covered by credit card. Bunch of muppets.

Still Waiting

Ordered a Shower tray and Screen, the screen was lost in transit, and the shower tray has the waste in the wrong corner despite asking a member of staff if it was the same as the image on the web site which she confirmed it was. I was sent an email confirming the screen had been lost and would I mind confirming that I would wait for a replacement. Since then I have had no luck at all contacting the company, I have sent numerous un-answered emails, there is no phone number to call to discuss the situation. I have never known such a shambles, all this time my bathroom is out of use!

worst online firm I've ever dealt with

I ordered bathroom taps in Nov 2014. Initially my order got lost in their system but they eventually arrived in Dec 2014. Unfortunately they did not fit my basin so I returned them following all the company's requirements- returns number, order number, properly wrapped, proof of postage and tracked delivery etc. After many emails I am still waiting for a refund. At present I am 4 days in to their rapid 24hr response period. Next stop Trading Standards.

REPORTED TO TRADING STANDARDS

I've reported Splash Direct to Trading Standards - 03454 04 05 06. As my goods were faulty and as they are no longer receiving calls and haven't replied to my emails over the last 2 weeks I have no other option.
Trading standards have advised me to send a letter recorded delivery to Splash direct and as I paid by credit card and it was over £100 I can contact my credit card company to investigate too.
If any one else has the same or similar problem please ring trading Standards on the number above, this company needs investigating so they don't continue to rip people off.
