As always, through 3 schools, expensive, poor quality and poor value uniform that I have no option to buy elsewhere. And. Despite having literally spent a four figure sum, there is a delivery charge.

We have used Stevensons for the past 9 years and must say their uniforms are always great quality and delivered in reasonable time. The option to click and collect at your local school is a real help for orders where you can’t get to a shop or delivery at home isn’t possible. Their website is easy to use and has a great option for you to see your child’s uniform profile, which speeds up the online shopping process.

Service is good in store, but the current quality of school uniform is not great overall. This is very sad because historically it used to be fantastic even if things were pricey. We have separately purchased a school backpack £64 (lasted 13 months, all the zips and the seams broke), school trousers £23 (lasted 8 months, hole in the seat), school sports t-shirt £34 (lasted 5 months, cheap printed polyester and the collar fell off). The first two items I could not return as outside the 6 month warranty period. This was annoying because there was a significant mark up on both these items compared to other shops. We bought an identical rucksack on ebay for £23 without the school logo. I'm going back to M&S for trousers as they are less than half the price and last longer. Supply dates for some out of stock items are 3-6 months which is ridiculous. You are a captive audience if you need a school branded item.

Easy company to use, fast and efficient delivery of school blazer. Blazer of great quality, have purchased blazers numerous times from Stevensons.

I ordered online from Stevensons as my local shop is closed for a refit. My experience has been awful.

As I was unsure of the correct size I put things in my basket and then later changed the size options in the basket after having a proper measure. I hit the checkout button and when my order email came through I realised that the sizes had not updated and were wrong. I immediately contacted them via web chat as they don't seem to have a number to call (always a red flag).

The person I spoke to said that my order had already gone to the warehouse and so I couldn't change the size or cancel my order. This was literally within a minute or 2 of hitting the checkout button. I asked if they could stop the order and was told they couldn't get through to the warehouse, but would email me once they did. I waited all day with no email back even after sending a chaser email.

This is incredibly frustrating. Considering it was their own website that failed to update my sizes, that I contacted them IMMEDIATELY to fix it, it should have be an extremely simple request to cancel an order. No doubt i'll now have to faf about sending things back, reordering and paying more postage instead of what could have been a really quick and simple fix. Such a shame there are no other suppliers of the school uniform as I would definitely not buy from here again if I had a choice.
