I ordered fly tying equipment, as I’ve only just started I was really excited to get some new stuff and learn to tie some new flies. I ordered on the 11th of April and didn’t receive any confirmation, I’ve emailed about 5 times and received only 1 reply asking for a confirmation (which they haven’t sent). I sent all the info I have which is only the transaction on my banking app and since then I haven’t heard back, I also tried to call them 8 times throughout the day today and they didn’t pick up the phone once. I used them successfully a month ago but after this I won’t be using them again

I bought from this Polish company, thinking they could be trusted. However, the products were faulty and like other reviewers, contacted them, twice , but have not received any reply. Lesson learnt about dealing with a company from abroad, as they obviously can't be trusted.
Another lesson learnt….I should have checked them out on Trustpilot.

I purchased a wading jacket, received an email saying I had to pay import tax, I can canceled the order and chasing my refund.

Communications are poor to say the least

I have bought from Taimen several years ago and they were Ok...however on trying to purchase today it was impenetrable.
UK and USA , should you be from same , do not feature as address destinations.
'Log in' and 'create account' went round in circles.
No good.

Do not use taimen fly fishing on the ninth of may purchased a £650 hardy fly rod.
I never received a confirmation email that I thought was odd at the time and have subsequently emailed them twice since then but have not received an answer from
Them even though they have taken the money for it .
It is now the ninth of July I can only assume that because they are based in Europe they assume they can act with impunity to steal money from UK CUSTOMERS G .Richmond

I would give 0 stars if I could.
Trainmen have taken my order, the funds out of my account but have said my email address is incorrect. Obviously it is not or are any of the details. On my order it says pending! I have sent emails but got no replies.
Don’t use this company!!!!
Avoid at all costs. I was stupid enough not to check reviews but even if you do you can’t rely on them not being false. For safety reasons I have had my card stopped and arranged a replacement also moved my money to my other account just in case. I will now have to change everything to do with my banking and have already had emails telling me that payments I have made by card automatically have been rejected. I hope that with my evidence I can get my money back through my bank. It’s worth a try. They are not worth the risk. I have now seen I am not the only one that hasn’t received the goods paid for and they have ignored other emails. I have learned an expensive lesson with all the inconvenience it has now caused to secure what is in my account at the moment. Tainmen you are rotten to the core shame on you. Fool me once fool you , fool me twice fool me comes to mind. I certainly won’t be fooled twice !!!!!!!!

Very bad quality. Brand new pair leaking in thighs first wear. Seams splitting in waders also at boot after second wear. This is my 3rd pair off Taimen never again.

Ordered wading stick 9 weeks ago !!! Never arrived. money taken out of my account!! e.mailed taimen 4 times without getting any reply stay away from this company they don't send your order or reply to emails just have to suck it up av been robbed🤬

Every order is delivered with items missing and part refunded even though these were supposed to be in stock, Total waste of time and best avoided

Ordered goods 9 weeks ago. No goods have been delivererd, no refund, no reshipment, no date for a solution, no proposal, They only say that they have filed a complaint a the Postal Service... And now looking at all the reviews, I'm not the only one. So, be careful what you order and prepare to make a gamble with your money.

Goods ordered 2 Jan 2023. Not delivered after 7 weeks. Company does not answer messages.
If you read this, you will wonder if its worth the risk dealing with this company?

I used to be a regular customer of Taimen. All was fine until I had a problem with a product that was faulty.

At that point, all communication stopped.

Like others here, I have had appauling service.

There is NO return possible. If your product is broken, faulty or the wrong one you will not get a refund.

Even if you pay to mail items to Poland, which is expensive, no refund will be made.

You can try to contact them by phone or email, they will not communicate in any way.

Do yourself a favour, buy from a reputable company that answers the phone and emails and accepts returns.

Or you could just open a window and throw your money away, which would be more productive.

As a regular customer I can tell you that this used to be a fairly good store, but they have hit rock bottom… hard! These days their stock is questionable, so is the quality and issues related to products and refunds are simply ignored. Your trust will be violated, so hold on to your hard-earned cash or spend it elsewhere.

Great website if you are looking for some cheap fly fishing gear.
I choose the fast delivery and got in within 2 days of my order.
The quality isn't the best but considering the price its worth it.
Overall i will be seeing myself buying alot of things from here...

My waders leaked the in the first week of usage... Then they had it back for repair two times - both times the waders leaked first time they saw water again after the "repair" ... I have a suspicion that they did not do anything with the waders when they tried to repair them, just so they could prolong the time and now claim that warranty is not valid anymore...
So to anybody out there thinking of buying from here - Just Do not!!
They will probably also cheat you!!

They skip their own rules. They send the items they want, if any do not have it, they do not notify you as their rules indicate. You claim and the article disappears from the web, which indicates that it was not an error. And also after acting with a lot of lack of professionalism, they look for solutions that do not harm them financially but do harm the client.
Se saltan sus propias reglas. Te envían los artículos que quieren si alguno no lo tienen y no te avisan como indican sus reglas. Reclamas y el artículo desaparece de la web, lo que indica que no fue un error. Y después de actuar con mucha falta de profesionalidad buscan soluciones que no les perjudiquen económicamente a ellos pero sí perjudican al cliente.

Richtig billige chinesische Qualität. Schlechte Reisverschlüsse. 10 mal getragen, Jacke defekt nach 15 Monaten. Die Firma Taimen gewährt keinerlei Garantie, obwohl sie dazu, laut EU Recht verpflichtet wären. VORSICHT!! Es lohnt sich nicht!!

Really cheap Chinese quality. Bad zippers. Worn 10 times, jacket broken after 15 months. The Taimen company gives no guarantee, although they would be obliged to do so under EU law. ATTENTION!! It is not worth!!

Naprawdę tania chińska jakość. Złe zamki. Noszone 10 razy, kurtka zerwana po 15 miesiącach. Firma Taimen nie udziela żadnej gwarancji, chociaż byłyby do tego zobowiązane na mocy prawa UE. UWAGA!! To nie jest warte!!

I ordered a Ponoy Jacket from Taimen. The quality seems to be ok, but the zipper broke within the first day of use. The communication with Taimen in that case of warranty was not very friendly. They accused me to have caused the damage and they say mechanical damage is not covered by warranty. Taimen refused to repair or exchange the jacket in a case of warranty. In the end they exchanged the jacket, but in a "good will" and not as a case of warranty. Also Taimen let me cover the money i had to spend to get a new one. Taimen? Never again. Sry for my english, trying my best ;)
