Don't do it

I am a student living in a flat with Tassi Student Lettings currently. It has been beyond hell.
When I moved in:
- Tabacco scattered across the floor
- Bin full of maggots
- Dirt on the skirting boards
- Mould in the bathroom
- Electric parking that did not work
- No heating (and it has been 2 months)
- No instructions on how to turn the fire alarm off (it was on from 9pm - 10am)
- Electricity randomly switching off
- Light detached and hanging from the ceiling
- Scratched furniture
- Broken toilet seat
- More I cant even think off

You can not get hold of them at all! If you have an issue you have to ring 100 times to even get through to someone. DO NOT LET FROM THEM!

They are useless, absolutely useless. I moved in in August it is now October and problems are still coming up and the old ones are not getting fixed.

Absolute horror of an agency

Absolute horror of an agency - continually withholding our deposit even 3 months after the end of our tenancy has come to an end. House was in general poor condition and they were reluctant to fix any problems within the house itself. Blamed us for several events in the house that either never happened or happened prior to us moving in. 0/10 would never recommend this agency to ANYONE!!!!!

NIGHTMARE!

Dealing with Tassi Lettings was an absolute nightmare. Their communication was atrocious, marred by apathy and unprofessionalism. They treated us with blatant disregard, leaving us frustrated and ignored.

The property's hygiene was appalling, a glaring sign of their indifference to tenant health and comfort. It was beyond disappointing to live in such neglect.

Their handling of our deposit was nothing short of theft. They unjustly seized most of it, showing a complete lack of ethics and fairness. Throughout our tenancy, their assistance was virtually non-existent, making our lives unnecessarily difficult and stressful.

In short, Tassi Lettings is a disaster of an agency, characterized by poor management and a total lack of decency. I urge anyone considering them to steer clear and find a more reputable and caring letting agency.

Handed us a half functional…

Handed us a half functional appartement, anything takes no less than a month to fix, 6 months since I moved out, still havent seen my deposit. They're also genuinely don't even know anything.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Tassi lettings is the definition of theft, no repairs, no communication and an inevitable attempt to steal your deposit, the staff are rude the apartments are shambolic. If I had any advice, it would be run! I don't mean to exaggerate in any form either, I read these reviews last year and didn't listen, but GOD do I wish I did, save your sanity, money and peace, whatever they offer you it will never be worth it. Don't want to take my opinion only? Read any other review that is real, and you will get 1% of a grasp of how terrible this agency is.

Avoid!

The worst company to deal with. They advertise places to live that haven’t even been built yet. Myself and a lot of students were put up in a hotel and kept delaying the move in date, then when they realised it was not going to be built in a reasonable time they gave us 3 days to find somewhere new or be put into another random accommodation. They also took ages to refund. Avoid!

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company - they stole our deposit because of a single spiders web in the corner of the living room. They were unresponsive and did not fix issues that we had raised (e.g faulty heating) with the property at all during our tenancy. They will try everything they can to keep your deposit at the end of the tenancy so if you do rent from them, bear that in mind!

How to STOP yourselves from months of anguish!!

I would also concur with other comments made.
I am actually writing this as I have been waiting for over 48 hours for the MD to respond to a query that started in July, he promised to look into it and has since disappeared. That is how bad this gets. I am writing this reluctantly, as I do not normally jump onto Trustpilot to moan, but I feel I owe it to other parents who might be looking for a rental property next year, that it is best to avoid this Agency at all costs…..if indeed they are an Agency at all. In fact the word Agency is from medieval Latin word of agentia, from agent- means ‘doing’....Tassi just DON'T.

The hassle I have had trying to get them to respond to an email, be that the Manager, Director or even the Managing Director is awful............as an agency you would like them to pride themselves on good communication skills and a modicum of customer service skills, but nope!........this is not the case here.
I would avoid this agency with a very long barge pole. They seem to have found a position where ignoring emails is the acceptable norm, they choose not to even answer emails and the Student Lettings Team in Nottingham are just void of offering anything considered to be close to good service.

I am trying to get them to collect a soiled/dirty mattress that was left from the previous tenancy, they said they would get it collected on 5th October 2022 and it is still under the stairs at the property, despite it being a health risk. So if you want to avoid months of chasing, frustration and chasms of anguish, then AVOID this agency…………..we are still in this mess, and you can avoid getting doing the same. I hope this helps you.

Beware, Nottingham's WORST letting agency!!

They obviously think students are stupid to fall for the renaming but we all know who you are. I've lived in one of their houses, it all started off fine, then whenever anything went wrong, they took weeks to fix it. Some of the builders that turned up would just let themselves in, without any warning and lets just say they certainly weren't the kind of people you want in your home without you being there.

At the end of our tenancy they conjured up over £600 in 'fees' they took from our deposit. We left the property pristine, but still they charged us all sorts of bizarre 'expenses' including 'fix kitchen door handle' for £25.... that was broken when we moved in.

These people are crooks, they try and be all 'cool' and 'down with the kids' but this is nothing more than a racket.

Keep away from this lettings agency.
You can do better!

My daughter experienced nothing but rudeness and disrespect during her tenancy. Tassi Lettings has a total disregard for their tenants demonstrated through their delay in replying to emails and phone calls and an arrogant and rude handling of any situation that arose.

Any business treating their customers with total disdain makes them completely unprofessional in my book.

If you are looking for a lettings agent in Nottingham, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.
