We recently set up Telecare for my 94 year old dad who came to stay in Leeds for 3 months following a flood at his house. He has a similar system in his Nottingham home but his system was not transferable!
The Telecare alarm was delivered the day after ordering and a wrist strap supplied as this was what he was used to.
Customer service was excellent for both setting up and discontinuing after he returned home. The device was easy to set up. The device gave my dad and my family peace of mind when he was left alone.
My dad received check calls via the intercom to ensure he was ok.
I would definitely recommend this system and I was informed that it is transferable to a different address should anyone be in a similar circumstance with an elderly/ vulnerable relative who had to move from their own home for a temporary period of time.

Would have given 5 stars but paperwork was not in the delivery. Had to phone.

The base unit came to us,so we placed and turned it on but found that it didn't want to work.
After contacting the company they've sent out a new one which works perfectly.

Received a call saying mum had pressed alarm but operator wan unable to understand what she was saying. I called mum but when I called back to the operator who had called me they were unable to find her on the system.....
