I booked a professional end-of-tenancy…
I booked a professional end-of-tenancy clean for my property in west London, however the standard delivered fell significantly below what would reasonably be expected.
Large areas were either missed entirely or cleaned to a very basic level, including visible dust on skirting boards and surfaces, grime on bathroom fixtures, and incomplete kitchen cleaning. This was not a matter of minor touch-ups, the property required substantial re-cleaning.
Due to time constraints and an imminent valuation, we had no option but to personally re-clean the entire property ourselves the same evening to bring it up to an acceptable standard.
We also reviewed CCTV footage, which showed the operatives on site for approximately 3 hours, with multiple extended cigarette breaks and a generally unstructured approach to the work. This aligns with the poor condition the property was left in.
To their credit, the company did offer a return visit, however this was scheduled too late to be of any practical use, as the purpose of the clean had already been compromised.
Despite the clear service failure and supporting evidence, the only compensation offered was 10%, which does not reflect the level of inconvenience or the need for us to redo the work ourselves.
Overall, this was not a professional tenancy clean and I would not recommend the service

We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the service provided. We do take complaints seriously and always aim to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly.
To clarify the timeline, your email was received later in the evening on the same day the service took place, outside of our normal working hours. We responded the following day and offered to return for a re-clean that same day in order to address the issues raised as quickly as possible. As you advised that you were not available, we then agreed and arranged a revisit for two days later at your request. However, the day before the scheduled re-clean, you informed us that the revisit was no longer required.
While we appreciate that the timing no longer suited your circumstances, we did make a genuine effort to put matters right at the earliest opportunity available after receiving your complaint. Our free re-clean offer was made specifically to resolve the concerns raised, but unfortunately this was later declined.
We are sorry that you felt the compensation offered did not meet your expectations. As a company, we always try to balance complaints fairly based on the information available and the remedies offered. In this case, we did offer a return visit to rectify the issues, which is our standard and most effective resolution where concerns are reported.
We appreciate your comments, as they help us review both service quality and team performance internally.
A brilliant cleaning company.
I booked a deep clean for my home following a long period of illness and following a declutter. The tenancy cleaner team provided excellent communication from the outset and a very fair price upon sending in my photographs. They arrived on time and with all their own products and tools to carry out the clean. The two cleaners were friendly and professional. As agreed they telephoned me when they were done and I came back to a beautifully clean and fresh smelling home. They went above and beyond expectations, everything was spotless and I am delighted with the service. I would definitely recommend Tenancy Clean and would definitely hire them again. Everything I had asked for was not only completed but also to an extremely high standard. They walked around the house with me to show me their amazing work and to check I was happy- which I definitely was. It’s like a new home again.

Khalid and his Glasgow team arrived on time as were very friendly, took time to walk the property with me pointing out areas to concentrate on.
The cleaning team did a great job of the kitchen storage and bathrooms. The doors, windows and all skirting boards were cleaned. The carpets were craned and freshened and all mirrors polished. One or two small details were missed but on the whole I was very happy with the service and would use them again.

I recently had my home deep cleaned by Ali and Noor from TenancyCleaner and I am so happy with the service!
Both of them did an absolutely fantastic job. They were professional, thorough and paid great attention to detail. The house looks spotless. The house previously had a strong smell from pets from the previous occupants but Ali and Noor did an incredible job. The smell is completely gone and the whole place feels so fresh!

I chose this company because the property was in a very dirty condition, and they assured me they could handle the job. Their quote was around double that of other cleaning companies, and I assumed the higher price would mean a higher standard of work.
On top of the already expensive quote, I paid an additional £300 for the walls to be cleaned

Despite this, I was shocked by the result. It looked as though the house had barely been cleaned. The kitchen was still greasy, the windows had not been touched, and the walls had clearly not been cleaned either.
When I raised this, I was asked to email photos. After doing so, I received nothing but excuses. I was told many of the marks were “stains,” even though I was able to remove them myself immediately with a damp cloth. The skirting boards were also still covered in dust.
I asked for a refund, but the company said they would only offer 10%, even though there was more than £700 worth of work that had not been completed properly.
They offered to return for a reclean, but by then the painter had already started, and we had to clean the walls ourselves. I therefore asked for a £300 refund for the walls, plus a reclean of the remaining areas, which I felt was entirely reasonable given the work had not been done. They refused.
They did eventually come back for a reclean, but the standard was still poor.
Very disappointing service, poor quality work, and no fair resolution when given the chance to put things right.

I booked a deep clean and payed £545, for a two bed apartment. This was after they added and extra £150 for extra time, effort and products which is fair enough if the cleaning was up to standard. The appliances were thoroughly cleaned however, the rest of the apartment was merely surface cleaned, when I came back to check the carpet and floor were still quite dirty, we asked the cleaners to go over the floor again, there were marks still on cupboards that we had to ask them to clean and parts of the sofa still had dirt on it. After they had left I realised the counters in the kitchen were still greasy and dirty. Overall for the price was not worth it, only for appliances. The condition showed in the photo I sent was taken an hour after the cleaners had left which is not enough time for grease and dirt to build up so that excuse is ridiculous, yes the cleaners adressed the issues I had raised but not to the best standard and said well the place was very dirty, I am aware of this which is why I asked for a deep clean prior to moving in. Also a £10 refund for a £545 clean is ridiculous. Will definitely not be booking this service and don’t recommend it.

The property was in a below average and heavily soiled condition, which is why an additional charge was agreed on the day to account for the extra time, effort, and products required. Despite this, our team completed the clean and also addressed areas you pointed out during the visit.
After the service, you raised concerns about several areas. We provided visual evidence (photos) taken by our team immediately after completion, which showed those areas cleaned to standard. The condition shown in your photos differed from ours, indicating that the property had been used or accessed after the service was completed, which can affect the cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and other areas.
As a gesture of goodwill, and to resolve the matter amicably, we issued a 25% refund for the kitchen, even though our internal photos showed it was completed to standard at the time of service.
We understand your expectations and regret that the experience did not fully meet them. However, based on the evidence and the condition of the property, we believe the service was delivered in line with the agreed scope.

They sent me three guys without any uniforms or Id, they didn’t use any deep cleaning products,they left the property in very poor condition after charging me £405 .

The only issues raised were regarding an exterior window, which was not included in your booking, and a skylight window, which is positioned at a height that cannot be safely reached with standard equipment.
Despite this, we still offered to attend again free of charge to address these areas as a gesture of goodwill. We arranged availability to return today, however we did not receive a response from you to proceed with the re-clean.
We also want to reassure that our teams are experienced and fully equipped to carry out end of tenancy cleans to a professional standard, even if uniforms are not always worn.
