Affordable fun
I did karaoke with my younger cousin it was a lovely experience charging per person rather than for the length of time would be more accessible to smaller groups.
(This is a suggestion, not a criticism)
West London is lacking in classy fun nights out tenpin is clearly a family establishment for people of all ages however in the Royale Park leisure Centre there is a fancy restaurant (NOVA). A great night out would be NOVA and then karaoke. However people may be put off from this because tenpin is not classy. I think that some building works to somewhat separate the karaoke rooms from the rest of the establishment with a separate entrance could solve this problem. The rest of the tenpin can stay as it is and the karaoke part can be its own section so that it exists as an option for a classy & fun night out for people who do not want to walk through the arcade full of children to get to the karaoke.

The tenpin bowling was okay
The tenpin bowling was okay, and the kids really enjoyed the karaoke. However, the karaoke room was extremely hot. I asked if there was a fan or air conditioning available, but was told there wasn’t and that nothing could be done.
The food was disappointing. It arrived cold, and our drinks were missing. I had to go and ask about the drinks, and while I was there I mentioned that the pizzas were cold and hard. The staff did offer to make new ones, which was appreciated.
The laser tag experience was also poorly organised. We stood waiting for quite a while before a member of staff noticed us and helped.
Overall, while the children enjoyed some of the activities, I don’t think the service was very good and the experience did not meet expectations

They are very slow with everything pretty much. Even if you have a problem dealing with it is even slower. Lots of young staff and seems only one manager who also behaves slowly.

Great Birthday Party Team, Disappointing Management
I recently hosted a birthday party at Tenpin Acton, and my experience was mixed.
On the positive side, the birthday party team (two girls) was excellent. They were friendly, helpful, well-organized, and did a great job ensuring the children had a fun and enjoyable time. Their professionalism and positive attitude made the party run smoothly, and I appreciate their hard work.
However, my experience with the supervisor was disappointing. The supervisor appeared unprofessional in their approach and lacked basic customer service skills. Communication was poor, concerns were not handled appropriately, and the overall interaction left a negative impression. As a customer, I expected a higher level of professionalism, especially when dealing with event-related matters.
While the birthday party staff deserve recognition for their excellent service, I believe Tenpin Acton should focus on improving the professionalism and customer service standards of its supervisory team to ensure a consistently positive experience for customers.
Overall, the party itself was enjoyable thanks to the dedicated birthday team, but the poor customer service from the supervisor prevented this from being a fully positive experience.
