Great Family Day Out
We had a Really Great Family Evening Out at Tenpin. The staff were absolutely helpful, attentive and kind. Thank you to the team on Friday 29/05. We booked online and the team was accommodating to us as we were quite early. We had some ball trouble on the lane next to us they came and sorted it out within like 2 mins. The atmosphere was very good as well. I would recommend to everyone to have great fun together and the prices were quite affordable.

It was extremely hot in the venue. Zero air conditioning on a hot day/evening. The new layout was ok but really let down by the atmosphere. According to reviews online others say the same

Acton- Only 3 stars as everything was good apart from the fact it was very hot inside as there didn't seem to be any Air Conditioning.

Nice new layout but..
The inside has had a revamp which is nice, all the booths are new and everything looked clean and fresh from the tables to the divider screens. The table service is a great feature so you can order drinks or food without having to leave your lane. We went on a very hot day in half term so of course it was busy, but we were quite surprised that there was ZERO air conditioning in there so be warned as you will get very hot while bowling! Same goes for the arcade, plenty of choice of games but after an hour we had to leave just to cool down.

Great experience
Great experience! Staff was lovely, everything reasonably priced and has great offers.
One small gripe, the bowling alley and bowling balls are very old. Also there are strings on the pins.

Shylen and Cameron, were very professional and attentive at my daughter’s 11th laser tag birthday party. The children were well happy and looked after and so were the adults, all questions were answered and the party progressed positively. Considering one of the staff I mentioned above we was told is a new staff member, he definitely has found his calling. He was amazing and I am very happy I chose this location to have her party! I recently visited Tenpin Acton with my family and was very disappointed with the customer service we received. When we arrived at the desk, the staff member did not acknowledge or greet us at all. Although my booking had already been made online, we still needed to check in, and all she said was “Lane 12” with no smile, no thank you, and no basic level of customer service. It genuinely felt like she did not want to be there.
Unfortunately, this is not the first bad experience I have had at this branch. I believe the site manager should carry out proper service checks and provide appropriate coaching and feedback to the team. Recruitment and staff attitude may also need to be reviewed.
Tenpin is a place where families come to spend quality time together, especially with young children. Children learn from the behaviour they see around them, and customer service plays a huge part in creating a positive family environment. Bowling is not just a game, it is an experience for families, and sadly this visit did not feel welcoming at all.
