HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE. Used to have great cloths and great service. Clothes are now frumpy, made cheap, cheap fabric. My refund took several weeks, 2 phone calls and 2 emails. Ch... See more

Duplicitous Territory Ahead
The The Territory Ahead is a very duplicitous company. If you attempt to return an item, expect them to add previously undisclosed charges, so that you will not receive a full refund. The hidden charges in my case added up to 20% of the cost of the original item. In fact in my case, The Territory Ahead withheld an amount coincidentally equivalent to taxes that should have gone to the State if I had purchased the item - which I did not do. BUYER BEWARE.
This company is worthless
This company is worthless. I ordered 3 items for over $600.00 They were never delivered. They have not replaced my clothes or refunded me.
Wish I would have checked here before…
Wish I would have checked here before ordering. The clothes are ok but the customer service is a joke. Do not buy from them. I wont buy again. I tried to change an order and they told me I couldn't because it had already been "PRINTED". But not shipped. So tried to cancel the order and they said I couldn't even though it had not been shipped. Worst customer service and policies on the internet. Buyer beware it's really a from another planet. You just lost a good customer. I'm taking my business elsewhere
We made the mistake of ordering and now…
We made the mistake of ordering and now we're drowning in solicitations and emails. The 'unsubscribe' button doesn't work and customer service won't unsubscribe us. The worst.
Inefficient ordering system
I placed an order online for 2 shirts and when I got the email for the order confirmation i noticed the size I picked was wrong. I immediately called them back. The woman tells me they can't cancel or change the order because the order goes right to the warehouse. That is BS. What kind of ordering system does not allow you to cancel or change an order in this day and age? Now I have to wait for the shirts to arrive and return them. That will take 2 + weeks. How inefficient is that? The time it takes to get my refund back they will be out of stock like they are all the time. I will not be shopping at Territory Ahead anymore.
Cannot meet orders
Do not order Christmas gifts and expect to get them. They procure great clothing from whomever manufactures it, but they have zero competence in knowing what their stock is and can no longer deliver on time. The last items I ordered came months late and one never arrived. Now, I see so many customers who experienced the same inept service. Manufacturers should look for another outlet because this is not the company you want marketing your product under their label.
I had the exact same experience as…
I had the exact same experience as Tobias Mendelson in the chain of customer reviews. After providing a refund, they suggested that I reorder the product at a substantial increase in price! I too am DONE with this Company. Beware - order at your own risk.
Quality is mostly gone, cs errors icing on the cake
Another customer that’s about done. Spent $200 on a jacket, wore it exactly 3 times, then had to take it to tailors($60) to repair the buttonholes. Another shirt I loved in the catalogue, arrived and was meh, has mostly hung in the closet, wore it for the 2nd time yesterday and the stitching in about half the hem is unraveling. I still have TA shirts that were made in Hong Kong, for crying out loud. Now Made in China is plastered all over the labels. I guess I could just feel smug about having the ability to pay $200 for a shirt that’s cheaply made, or just start putting that money into a trip to the Virgin Islands.Oh, btw I’ve had the same customer service rep issues as others here, with similar bad endings, so this was inevitable.
I Think I'm Done...(or maybe not after figured out how to get to the top of TA)
I ordered merchandise that apparently wasn't in stock for the advertised sale. As others stated they charged my credit card immediately and about a month later notified me that shipping would be delayed. Another month goes by and I check with them and customer service doesn't know anything but the shirt reappears in the new catalogue at an increased price. TA then cancels my order.
Not to be out done as a glutton for punishment, I order a pair of pants. Of course they send the wrong size and color pants. After a frustrating call with customer service I'm told it will be corrected. Yesterday the replacement pair arrived. Guess what? Again TA send the same wrong size and color. TA duplicated the error.
The moral of the story, TA has terrific designers but a lack of customer service is driving a 20 year TA customer away.
UPDATE:
The third replacement pair of Mission Comfort pair of pants arrived today and low and behold they were the same wrong pair again for the third time. I called customer service to get the return authorized and attempt to get a supervisor but that was unsuccessful. However I'm more resourceful than TA customer service expected.
I will not go through the details but I rattled the very top of JP Outfitters to the point that I got a return call 10 minutes after i utilized my customer service. Needless to say the individual with who I spoke has sufficient authority to clear up my order troubles and the ones in customer service.
I will follow-up next week to let you know the result of my conversation and if any action was taken by TA.
Ordered two times with no item actually…
Ordered two times with no item actually rec'd with no CS follow up on shipping. Terrible company with no real fulfillment plan. No ship date could be given, no explaination. Seems a bit like a scam to me..... I would not order from them again
I had similar experience as others
I had similar experience as others. Ordered two pair of pants and received only one. Many attempts to contact and get resolution from customer service failed. Horrible customer service. I still don’t have the product or a refund
Bad Company
Bad Company
I ordered two pair of pants and only received one pair in the time line stated. The more expensive pair after calling Customer Service couldn’t be determined to be in stock or not and couldn’t be determined when it would be in stock or shipped. The webpage only allows you to order items. There’s no ability to track orders. Whoever is running this company should be taken out to the woodshed and given a good a$$ kicking. You’ve been warned. Don’t buy anything from The Territory Ahead
Territory Ahead of yesteryear, where are you?
This company is NOT the Territory Ahead it used to be. Ive placed 3 diff orders in the past month. The 1st order was on the 2nd of Sept and then 2 following that order. Its now the 16th and after several calls to customer service, they have ZERO idea what or how this has happened or where the order is or why it has NOT been fulfilled. They also HAD ZERO explanation as to what the issue is or when they will get it fulfilled. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND THEY WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS SOON IF THEY DONT FIX THIS AND FIX IT NOW. WHO'S EVER running the company should be TERMINATED for terrible customer service and not fulfilling correct orders that have been paid for 3 weeks prior. THIS MAKES NO SENSE AND THERE IS NOONE TO GIVE ANY ACCEPTABLE ANSWERS.
A territory where you'll never stop receiving their catalogs
The Territory Ahead is a territory where you'll never stop receiving their catalogs, no matter how many times you ask, whether online or by phone, and where even the phone agents will fail to get you removed from their mailing list despite earnest promises to try.
Unethical marketing practices: spam mail
This company has begun sending me their paper catalogue in the mail, which I never signed up for (had never even heard of them). When you add up all the resources consumed in production, delivery, and disposal of the catalogue, I can't imagine how they justify it all just for the (extremely) slim chance of making a sale that way. Nevermind the waste of my time. I would never do business with a company that operates that way.
Please stay away from them
Please stay away from them , its a total nightmare . Ordered 2 items , without any notice or tracking number it took 2 weeks to receive just one item , website does not load order history .
Going in week 4 , still waiting for second item ...
STEER CLEAR
I ordered a Bomber Jacket that took 10 days to ship out, but to be fair, it was noted that it wouldn’t ship until 4 days after placing my order because of stock for the item was delayed. After it not shipping after 8 days, I called and was told that stock had been received, but that it still had to be checked by quality control before shipping out, and after another 2 days, it finally did. After a week’s travel time, it arrived in good order. Nice enough jacket, (although I’m not sure it was worth $220) and I was happy it came after over 2 weeks. I had ordered an XL because the chest is 46-48, and even spoke to a customer service person regarding exact sizing for that particular garment… which they said was indeed 48”. I try it on, and I am swimming in it. I measured the chest and it was 54”. Still feeling good about the jacket overall, I decided to send it back and exchange it for a size Large. The jacket went back out the following day, and after a week long trip back, was delivered to them. After not getting an email saying it was received and my replacement was on the way (a full 10 days after tracking showed it was delivered back to them) I reached out again wondering when I’d receive my replacement and they said, “Return processing can take 10-14 business days and we’re technically still within that period… but I also should inform you that there may be an additional 2 weeks more because our shipping department is slowed down due to the new system integration”. Having had enough, I said to just cancel the order, to which the cs rep said, “I’ll put in a request to cancel this. You’ll get an email once it’s been cancelled” and that was 3 days ago. We’ll see how long it takes to get a notification and refund. If I don’t have a notification by COB Monday, I’m filing a claim with the BBB. Never have I had so much trouble with a company in my life. I’m seriously amazed that they’re still in business with the way they run things. Their business model is laughable at best. Do yourself a favor and STEER CLEAR of this company. Lesson learned. Never again.
Products fade fast,
Products fade fast,, no quality,, knecks stretch ugly after two washings,,
Just Not Worth It
I've shopped here for decades, including back when it had actual stores, but I'm done.
It sells merchandise that is not in stock with no "on backorder" warning and then charges your card immediately. I made a $400+ order a week ago and when I started a chat session yesterday on August 4 to see why my order hadn't shipped I was told it was on backorder until "about September 25". I cancelled and was promised a refund to my card.
The website is glitchy--either doesn't load pages or the pages are scrambled (I use Chrome). Plus my order from a week ago was not reflected in Order History--why--so I wouldn't know it was backordered?
For me there is just a general "scammy" feel to dealing with TA.
And while the quality is generally good, sometimes it isn't. Who wants to wait 8 weeks for an order and possibly discover a problem with quality. Just not worth it.
Absolutely the worst customer service…
Absolutely the worst customer service of any retailer in the USA!! First, my order was incorrect size, way way late on receiving it after Memorial Day, after I ordered changed the item to last call & Not returnable. The customer service agent even refused to let me speak with his supervisor instead telling me the answer would be the same. In his words I had no way to appeal & I was SOL!!
This company is a shell of an order house selling inferior clothes at full retail prices & uses bait & switch techniques to deceive people. This is not my first bad experience with this company and I will never ever order again and I recommend that the public stay away from this company. At this point I am going to file a complaint with the federal trade commission. I’m going to contact the congressional members offices from the corporate headquarters state that they are from and I’m gonna trash company on social media. I encourage all others to do the same.
