Terrible Quality, Even worse service

RUN AWAY! DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

After 10 uses, the $300 sweater I purchased is falling apart.

I tried to reason with customer service, but they were as useful as this one armed sweater. Territoryahead won't stand behind their product, so don't waste your time or money on them. I don't normally write reviews, but if I could spare just one person, it'll be worth it.

Unethical company

My latest experience with Territory Ahead has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I ordered two pair of Mission Chino flat-front pants, one barley color, one asphalt colored (along with two shirts) on or around November 25, 2022. The asphalt pants were on back order, I was informed, and not expected until February 2023. I received the barley pair in December. They were not the right size. When i called to return the barley pair on Jan 12, i advised the customer service agent that i spoke with that the asphalt pair that I had ordered would also be the wrong size. He told me that he would take care of it and they would send the correct size. The asphalt pair arrived on Feb. 17 but was the wrong size.

I called to return them and request a replacement on Monday, Feb 27. I spoke with customer support person named Harold. He informed me, after putting me on hold several times to try to speak with “management", that he couldn’t get hold of anyone and that he couldn’t send the return label without approval from “management”, even though Territory Ahead’s return policy as stated on the website is that it will accept returns within 60 days of shipping date.

It has been over two weeks since I began to try to return these pants. Harold has told me in several telephone conversations since then that he still hasn’t been able to get approval from “management” but that he is working on it. I also spoke to another customer service rep who assured me that they . A customer service rep should not even need “management approval” to honor the company’s printed return policy!

I have found several references on the web referring to Territory Ahead going out of business. Going on 16 days now, I suspect that I am just being given the runaround while the company is in the process of closing down. This is a a terribly unethical company. Don’t do business with it!

Unable to return sale items

Unable to return sale items. There was No indication of this at purchase.

I have purchased many "final sale" items from other outfitters (e.g. Banana Republic) - and the condition of final sale Always prominently stated.

EVERYTHING WRONG W/ MAIL ORDER

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
By far the worst company EVER to deal with.
NO communication, exchanges are a nightmare, REFUNDs even worse. Amateurs.
Shipping sky high, horrible telephone connections, cust. serv. apologizes profusely, but does nothing. ITEM SIZING IS A JOKE.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR...SHOP ELSEWHERE.

Sooo Disappointing!

Just as others have described - twice I’ve ordered something and I didn’t receive a shipping notification. I go into their site only to find the item I ordered which showed available is out of stock. I get no notice while they hold onto my payment. I have to call to find it that they do not have it and don’t know if it’s truly backordered or simply out. Too bad they have crappy customer service and production processes. My husband really likes their shirts and I’m stuck trying time and time again to unsuccessfully order them because the company can’t manage their business well.

Poor customer service

I ordered a shirt during Black Friday weekend. When it arrived I noticed a hole in the seam so I contacted Customer Service. They assured me they had another in stock that they would immediately ship out plus they provided me with a return label for the damaged shirt. I never received the replacement so I contacted them again. They confirmed that they received the damaged shirt from me but never sent the replacement and now it is no longer in stock. It was supposed to be a present from my wife and she is very upset about the whole thing. I doubt I will order from them again.

Bad Bad Terrible service!

Bad Bad Terrible service!
I ordered an expensive coat for winter.
It was back ordered so I waited three weeks to get it.
It finally came and it had a defective
Zipper. So I called them and was assured they would send a replacement. After two more weeks I didn’t get my jacket I got an e-mail for a refund!!!!
No one bothered to tell me that they sold out and they decided to just give me a refund. I waited half way through winter for my winter jacket and after almost two months this is what I get!

Six days ago they took my order & my money. Just now, they send me an email that the item (my husband’s Xmas present) is out of stock. There is NO date of expected delivery. Really crappy business practices. Don’t give these people your $$$.

If you actually want to RECEIVE items…

If you actually want to RECEIVE items ordered, go to another website. These people never have anything in stock. You’ll get a notice that everything you ordered is “back ordered”, followed by a “cancellation”. But, they will charge you immediately. Just called to see why the order I placed days ago hasn’t shipped. Found out everything I ordered except one item was backordered. Had to just cancel the entire order so I can shop elsewhere and actually receive Christmas gifts in time. Their stuff is nice, but they don’t actually have any of it available. Not sure why they’re bothering to advertise!

Territory Ahead wants you to think they are Premium

Territory Ahead behaves like they are a premium brand. And with casual pants at $149 they should be premium, but they are not. I purchased a pair of pants because they had the color and fit I was looking for. The website did not have detailed sizing information in terms of the garment's measurements. No information about actual garment sizings like the pant's front rise, or back rise. They talked a lot about how many pockets it had. I took a shot. The pants technically fit me but were uncomfortable. The size wasn't the problem. It was the construction and cut of the garment. In trying to return them for a refund, the "returns" page said to use the return label enclosed in my package. I did not receive one in my package. The only option is to call or email. I like documentation so I emailed; only then was I given the "secret link" to start the return process. And I would be charged for the return costs. All premium brands I buy from do not make the consumer pay for return postage, not at those prices. I would NOT recommend this brand, and they don't have great customer service like many competing brands.

inventory control amateurs

I ordered a sweater on sale. Because of previous confusions on order status, I decided to call a couple
of days (Saturday) after placing the order. Nice lady pulls up the order sees the order and tells me that
the order is set to ship on Monday. Great, but I decide to call on Tuesday and confirm that the sweater did ship out. (I don't trust their inventory system) Didn't ship, on back order with no expected
delivery date. why does the initial order
confirmation say "confirmed"? What are they confirming, just that the order has been received.
It's easy to assume that everything is set. (Useless info) 2) why are they bothering to offer a sale item that they don't have in stock and will have to reorder and then sell at a reduced price? Get
a real inventory control system, PLEASE! 3) finally and most irritating, after the order I'm swamped with e-mails (2-3x a day, 2 days) saying that I left "something" off my order, which given their history I assumed that the order is fouled up, but I have to call in and find out that it's just a come-on to order more.
These issues should be child's play for experienced management. Yes?

Really pissed off at this criminal…

Really pissed off at this criminal organization !!! Got 2 shirts that didn't fit . Even though their return and exchange form shipped with items , mentioned NOTHING about cant return OR exchange after 60 days . They say thats the policy What a RIP OFF !!! Was about to buy more stuff from them , but thats NEVER happening again .

No Integrity

Received only one item; asked for status of second item. Customer service lied twice that they were unable to cancel the remainder of order because it was being processed for shipment. Called two weeks later, customer service said item was not available. They then canceled my order.

WE ALL AGREE; THIS IS A BAD BAD COMPANY!

Horrible company. I needed to exchange a $175 jacket for a smaller size. They gave me a website where I could click on to generate a return label. The jacket was lost in the return mail. They told me I was out of luck because they don’t retain a copy of the tracking number on the label they provided. I lost $175 and they refuse to help me! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!
