The last 3 visits to Tesco store Lee Mill the shelves have been empty, and I mean empty, just empty boxes where the stock had been. The store seems to be very untidy because of this and there are more... See more

Terrible delivery driver
Scott, the delivery driver arrived late and didn’t offer much by way of apology. My frozen items were pretty much defrosted and I had four items missing. He rechecked his van and told me he didn’t have the items.
His response to sorting out the issue was ‘what do you want me to do’ which was extremely rude. He told me I’d need to telephone so I told him he should be offering to try and fix the issue. He agreed and told me I’d have to wait 30 mins at which point I asked him to leave.
The only positive was the kind Scottish lady at customer service who managed to calm me down. She refunded the missing items and also the spoiled items.
Really poor experience and not what I’d expect from Tesco.

Worker was rude
worker was so rude kept rushing me out of everybody. I’m left crying bc I had so much pressure. Some worker started scolding me saying “ you didn’t pay for that!” And I’m a respectful Muslim I don’t like posting bad reviews but today was just..
No help!!!
Dear Tesco Customer Service,
I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable behavior of one of your home delivery driver in Nottingham.
I use walking sticks and have mobility difficulties. During my recent Tesco home delivery, the driver placed the delivery basket outside in a way that required me to bend down significantly in order to collect my groceries. This was physically very difficult and painful for me.
I politely asked the driver to please hand me the basket or assist me. Instead of helping, she simply stared at me and repeatedly ignored my request without saying anything. There was absolutely no empathy, no basic human kindness, and no attempt whatsoever to assist a disabled customer.
I found this experience deeply upsetting, humiliating, and completely unacceptable. Tesco should expect its employees to treat vulnerable customers with dignity and respect. A staff member who lacks such basic compassion should not be representing your company.
I would like this incident to be formally investigated, and I expect Tesco to take this complaint seriously. I also request a response explaining what action will be taken to ensure this does not happen again to another customer.
I have been left extremely disappointed by the treatment I received. I am resting on my bed because of the pain.
Booked a delivery to HR6 2 weeks ago…
Booked a delivery to HR6 2 weeks ago for a family party arriving today. Delivery was scheduled for 4-5 pm. At approximately 11 am Tesco Cancelled the delivery leaving me having to drive 10 miles to a competitor to shop. Thank God for Morrisons. Never again Tesco 😠

Good supermarket, reliable online shopping
I’m surprised the reviews here paint Tesco in a bad light, I do my online shops with Tesco and never have an issue, the majority of the time everything was available from the order and it’s on time or slightly earlier.
I did use Asda who were utter crap and switched to Tesco. Never an issue. I believe Tesco and Sainsbury’s will be the only remaining big supermarkets when Asda plunge in to administration with Morrisons not far behind.
Haven’t had an issue at all. Good quality is also leaps ahead over ASDA.
Uswitch & TESCO: USELESS at contact for disabled
FUMING that Uswitch has named TESCO as best customer service provider 2026. I could not find any info on how they decide. I can only assume it excludes customers who cannot phone, do not sign or have problems with Relay Uk. As a disabled person with severe hearing loss with speech issues I went through hell. Contacting them is still horrendous. On one occasion, I thought I lost my phone so asked my daughter to ring them with me present. We got the call handler from hell, so mistreated us, esp me, so bad we were offered a good will payment. It included forcing me into trying to speak, which is part of my disability! The website kept going down & contentrates 90% on handset sales. I gave up using it. No letter telling me my contract was ending & only now with data problems have I found the contract has actually been ended, despite the contract date being 22nd (or 24th June...it gives 2 different dates). I used the webchat to find out what was going on and it took me almost 2hrs. I had to repeatedly ask for a supervisor. It cut off so I never got to read the answer. 3 different people and still not resolved. In store staff are NOT ALLOWED to ring for you as part of helping those with additional needs. You cannot ring this team yourself even using Relay....they must call you themselves direct. I can't cope with the world I now inhabit as people like me are just meant to adapt on our own. My hubby died and daughter seriously ill & rest of family can't help. Going to have to go instore & see what help they can suggest....likely nothing....only other thing is dump them...USWITCH should look at ALL services companies provide, not just for those who can ring up or find tech easy.
1st I'd like to mention the exact Tesco…
1st I'd like to mention the exact Tesco Branch I am writing for as I am old customer and I had brilliant experience with other branches!
''Tesco Superstore-City Centre (Parnell Street) Unit 2, Ivy Exchange, Dublin, D01 N9X5''
=====
If the no star (Zero star) feedback would work that would been great because this is the rating this Tesco Superstore from City Centre deserve!
TBH I am not even addressing to the manager there but straight on to Tesco because that staff in city centre must be replaced from A to Z...
We are in 3rd Millenium people!!! Humans expect more than just a trivial or casual shopping encounter if I can say like that when interactions between customers and commercial staff happen, moreover in a city centre place!
Is this for real!?! From all this world for Dublin city centre you only found coloured faces to hire as staff!?! God forgive me... I am not a racist He knows all the way from my birthday to now, but where you see Indians hired something is going wrong!
You have to rise up your hiring requirements Tesco! Is not only arranging in shelves one staff member need to know but over this how to interact with 'C.U.S.T.O.M.E.R.S.' - this must be mandatory 'skill'. Let it be Indian too, every forest has its good and bads I'm all a believer that there are good Indian and every other nation people too but what I am looking for it’s the service they provide!
And if you are not having Security Agents skilled enough to prevent theft of alcohol and other stuff hire more (you should afford being in city centre place you must have at least double daily income than other Tesco branches...) or hire better skilled Security Agents, but don't Block One Of The Alcohol And Other Beverages Entrance only to prevent this in disregard for all other honest customers! This is disrespect for more than 90% of your customers against less than 10% thieves!!!
All in all think about this and change everything in this city centre place!!!
I am Tesco customer for more than 15 years but I rarely come in city centre place 1st of all for the shocking high prices inconsistent with the location, but after the unexpected negative experience I had tonight I definitely will not come again EVER!
I prefer to cycle or even walk to Tesco Prussia Street where I am doing mainly my shopping but I will not come again in city centre!
ZERO STAR IS NOT AVAILABLE; I AM SO SORRY ABOUT THIS...
Take our concerns on board !
Tesco Chester rd Manchester myself and my son have been racially profiled , the manager dismissed it, I made a formal complaint to Ken Murphy on the advice of Citizen's Advice Equality Advisory Support Service, and he still did not reply to the legal letter I sent , why aren't we being treated better than this, listen to your disabled vulnerable customers complaints

I have had some bad experiences when…
I have had some bad experiences when buying some Tesco products. One day I bought a humus with carrot snack pots, the second day it had bubbles inside and was too sour to eat. Meal deals pricing is confusing.
Today I found black tiny stones in the ready to eat small carrot pack. I don’t want to sound cynical or doubt Tesco’s strictness in following the line of production as well as shop to customer monitoring of products. Some
Having glass doors is a great idea to prevent sabotage or switching of items to include items tampered with or faulty which are a health hazard and Tesco reputation. In this case breaking a tooth.
Please ensure staff are trained to spot any suspicious acts and monitor shelves properly.
Items can easily picked switched, especially after renovation this specific store has gone through.
This took place two weeks ago and has confused the self checkout scanning program. The store reopened on May 16 after a week long of reshelving. A week later, today is 25, and the checkout tills are still scanning wrong items.
Together with the stone I found in my regular carrot snack, I am concerned it is a deliberate act.
If Tesco is certain it is not, I would like an explanation and an apology for finding a stone in the carrot packet, risking breaking my or my children's teeth.
I hope this matter is taken seriously in the future.
Tesco store location is available
A photo of the inserted stone is available as well.
Please reply to this comment with how to contact the store head-office directly.

Tesco Home Delivery is shambolic!
Tesco Home Delivery is shambolic!
Ive had one failed delivery attempt on Wednesdsay because the driver couldnt be bothered to deliver my shop and then a second failed delivery yesterday because the driver came early and left! Was then told the driver was under investigation for doing failed deliveries! Leadership skills at its best Tescos! Now been told they cant redeliver because of a system issue! JOKE
Ripped off big time! Have photos!
Last week I paid 65p for a bag of all rounder potatoes. This week I paid twice that price for the same product, but when peeled it was full of frost bite black. Now tell me we are not being ripped off.
Expired goods
The people there are rude, especially the staff, and while i do understand minimum wage isnt going to keep them all smiley, but come on now.
They also store expired goods, which isn't nice.
But other than that, everything was faily convenient. I'd recommend going here anytime!
Increasing frustration with Tesco
Increasing frustration with Tesco. Com with short deliveries . Very poor and frankly it appears we are heading for rationing in Uk
As a disabled senior person went there…
As a disabled senior person went there on sat 23rd May bank holiday weekend. Ths store was abergele n.wales.
One checkout with a massive queue. The rest self scanning.
Lots of staff at the self service chatting.
Any other stores ie asda , aldi would open a till. I only had 8 items.
No help whatsoever.
I would never do a big shop at tesco. Prices also sky high.
You should have a till for 10 items or less. Shame on you tesco.
Security person was nice , pleasant to speak to and totally agreed .
Senior disabled lady abergele n.wales.
Very poor delivery service
Very poor delivery service from my local Haverfordwest store. (Order number 5121-8909-17). Delivery Van broke down. Had phone call from driver. All good no problem these things happen. Then received an email saying my shopping would be delivered by 9.25pm at night a time i would never normally have a delivery! Waited all day and evening phone at hand expecting it....no show. Next morning on the tesco app it said delivery today and preparing order. No change for hours. Eventually rang customer services. Who rang local store. Very pleasant helpful person. Not sure what the exact mix up was but i then received an email telling me my shopping was cancelled and told i would get a refund as money was taken! Coming up to a bank holiday weekend. Very poor communication. That is the problem. It is difficult to get out to the shops as we are older with 2 old ill dogs who cannot be left for long but we could have nipped out for a few essentials if we had known on the day of delivery no food was coming. Tesco food is really good quality and when things are going well service is very good. Very telling that it is so bad when the slightest thing goes wrong. Communication with customer is key to the service. Very disappointed with Tesco. No local Tesco delivery slots for a week after this. Thankfully i managed to get an Asda delivery a couple of days later from the Pembroke local Asda. They might not stock the wide choice we get at Tesco Haverfordwest but you can usually get a delivery very quickly. I am definitely reconsidering using Tesco as my main shopping provider.
Tesco gaming reviews
Tesco are gaming the review section of their website and I can prove it. Look at the reviews for the new, universally hated, Feast ice cream. Everyone who purchased it honestly has given it 1-star. There are a slew of 4-5 star reviews however, all from people who got the product free in exchange for an "honest' review. So paying customers universally despise the new product, but somehow, mysteriously, these "honest" reviewers have all given it 4 or 5 stars. What are the odds eh? Check it out for yourself if you doubt me. Tesco are plying people with free products for reviews that do not reflect paying customer's experiences.
Totally pathetic and horrible service
Totally pathetic and horrible service from tesco Clough street in Hanley Stoke-on-Trent. To think that me and wife always do our weekly shopping from that store and alway by our alcoholic drinks without anyone asking us for an i.d despite both of us being over 25. Today i happen to pass by to grab a bottle of wine, flowers and a birthday car only to be declined to make a purchase because they they thought my wife was 25 despite the fact that we were just a normal couple enjoying their day holding the basket together and i was the one paying and i still presented my i.d for them to tell me it would be a proxy sell. What criteria does this stupid policy cover that lets us buy the same alcohol without i.d all these other days but choses which day and time for it to be used. Im extremely disappointed in the horrible service i got and couldn't help it think it was just racial discrimination. A whole lot other bought their drinks and left with being asked for I.d. Very incompetent staff that disgraces its loyal customers. There were a lot of factors to consider before refusing us our right to buy the mere fact that we were husband and wife shopping together that policy was never suppose to deny us our right to buy whatever we want. Had we been children i would understand. This was an absolutely sh!tty service.
Ash my delivery driver is a lovely young man, friendly tall and handsome!
Ash my delivery driver is a lovely young man, big and strong! And very friendly. Sadly Tescos could not manage to fulfill my order without quite a lot of substitutions. Which isn’t very good considering it’s a bank holiday weekend and Tescos should have taken that into account with all us stop at homers. Ash you certainly have got my vote today, Tescos you should be ashamed of yourselves giving your online customers such a lot of substitutions.
