Needed to contact NHS from Japan

I urgently needed to contact NHS services (who don't/won't communicate using email) in UK while travelling to Japan. I found it easy to set up the app and it worked perfectly. I was delighted to find a trusted provider which I was familiar with and have other accounts with.

Had an issue with not being able to top…

Had an issue with not being able to top up. One call to their helpline and spoke to Riz who was very helpful. Took the time to check with billing and came back to me as promised with an update. Honestly wasn't expecting a follow-up call and was genuinely surprised and pleased Riz took the time to deal with my issue. Can't praise him highly enough for all of his help - he's definitely an asset to their customer service department

Great app but updates are floored

This app is a godsend when I’m abroad and need to make landline calls. I know many friends who do the same. My mother is 95 and cannot use a mobile. Also many utilities, including this company, don’t use WhatsApp or other data based messenger apps. I marked it down a star because I recently had an issue when they updated the app and it wanted me to reconfirm my number which is fine except they want me to verify via an SmS while I’m abroad. Roaming was off of course!! No provision made to do this via an associated email. I was therefore stuck and needed to use their Helpdesk which where very helpful and resolved my issue there and then. So unnecessary and avoidable if they give the option for verifying via email. Overall a great app, easy to use and essential for people like me who have to ring uk based landlines while abroad.

Catherine P. was very helpful in resolving my issue.
However, Tesco International Service shouldn't allow credit to be lost at all! If someone adds money, they should have access to their funds for as long as they want. Please change your system.

I had a topup which was credited but…

I had a topup which was credited but not appearing on my phone Sanna was amazing she helped me and sorted it for me. The good thing is that she took time to investigate and she was honest enough to call me back. Sanna thank you and l am grateful 🙏🌺

1st time on the app, I made a mistake in how I set it up called the contact number and within less than 5 minutes Sanna had me sorted and ready to use the app. So a big shout out to Sanna THANK YOU!

This company is fantastic!

This company is fantastic!
I had to call Australia 🇦🇺 on my mobile and I downloaded the app but I spoke to someone from the company first and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I had a problem so I rang them back today and spoke to Catherine. She gave me fantastic advice and put my mind at rest. I highly recommend Tesco International!

Find an Alternative - Too Inconsistent and Buggy and NO SUPPORT

Not sure what's happening, but it used to work just fine to call the same exact number (my parents). Now it just tries to connect then after a bunch of hissing, goes to staccato beeps. So many issues calling and NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT ever seems around!

The other side cannot hear me

The credit from my account got deleted…

The credit from my account got deleted because had login issues and couldn’t get into the account. App doesn’t let me use the credit I topped up with it wasn’t used because the app wouldn’t let me login again. Now I’ve been able to login again the balance says zero and the word expired appears. Such a nightmare.

EDIT: Tesco proved to be unwilling to help. The service never worked and when tried to reinstall the app couldn’t get back in.

Fantastic

Fantastic. Went on holiday to Turkey and needed to make few calls outside of What’s App. My own provider EE wanted 25 quid. Friend recommended Tesco. 2p per minute calls. Made lots of calls that cost me a few pounds. Easy to load. Very reliable platform. Big name. Thoroughly recommend. Saved me loads of money.

Consistently poor sound quality

Poor sound quality. Several times when I have called a US number the person at the other end has struggled to hear me and on the latest occasion could not hear anything at all

My card has expired and Iam trying to…

My card has expired and Iam trying to put in my new card details and have tried many times but not getting through. I tried calling the number given on the app and spoke to a man called Riaz he said try speaking to your bank. So I rang the bank and they said “it’s not been declined by the bank. Speak to Tesco there is an issue on there side”. So called again and the same Man Riaz picked up the phone and he started to get aggressive and making me feel intimidated and saying bank can be wrong it’s not from are end.I then eventually put the phone down when he started to rase his voice. Please Tesco send me a contact number so I can sort this issue out. I need to top up.
