Dispatched quickly, even before xmas...

My experience was largely really positive:
I initially contacted Bike Factory because they had a superb (& genuine) deal on a bike I wanted. 1st contact with Flynn was great, very clear & good knowledge to give me certainty to buy the bike. After buying online (with a further 5% discount!) there was regular and clear email contact about delivery dates etc from Flynn, Col, Graham & the team. The team were really helpful with some of my additional requests (tubeless set-up & Invisiframe wrap).
In terms of what could’ve been better about my customer experience:
There was some frustrating lack of communication about collection date (because there was an issue with the wrap, which was professionally managed but not communicated). This resulted in an unnecessary 70+ mile round trip to Chester in my bike gear, ready to ride Llandegla immediately after collection. As it turns out, the bike was only 40% charged (despite several requests for full charge), so I probably avoided a frustrating 1st ride!
In response to the minor issues, the team were very apologetic about the poor communication but I was impressed that they didn’t improvise with the Invisiframe template error (they contacted Invisiframe & got the template corrected and resent). At collection, the team were great & helped me set the sag on the bike, ready for a shakedown ride.
I’m going back for a free safety check/service in Jan & will flag the lack of charging, so they have more thorough checks for future customers.
My 1st ride was great and I LOVE the bike, thank you. The experience was overall a positive one and the issues I experienced were minor, in comparison with some of the horror stories we read about cranks/bars falling off (due to lack of thorough pdi in some shops)!!!

Ordered Specialized mountain bike for son for Christmas, choosing Bike Factory as they had the right size and colour in stock and at a good price. Email comms were reassuring and the bike was delivered with no complications and per expectations in terms of delivery date. The minor assembly work - attaching handlebars, front wheel and pedals - was straightforward. Would recommend this method of bike acquisition, and Bike Factory in particular. (It's nice to know there's a bricks-and-mortar bike shop of long standing - in Chester - behind the web store.)

Bike was meant to be delivered fully assembled but wasn't. Back wheel wasn't trued and the headset was loose.
Very disappointing.

Bought a Haibike e bike at a very good price, it was delivered to me at the other end of the country, fully assembled & ready to ride.
When I wanted to upgrade the dropper seat post, they supplied this at a very good price.
