Another perfectly timed delivery by the Cheese Society couriers bringing birthday joy to my lovely friend!
She has not yet tasted the cheeses, but I'm sure she will enjoy every morsel!
The Cheese Society under the supervision of founder Kate O Meara and now her daughter Lucie put Lincoln on the map as leaders in supporting the superlative cheese producers we have in the UK.
The staff in the shop and cafe are personable, and knowledgeable . It’s a pleasure to shop there, even better if you stay to sample the cafe’s food.
The cheese selection is always excellent, and they have a very efficient mail order side too.
In particular the gift boxes are always a highlight.
Long may it continue.
We’ve eaten Skegness Blue on two occasions from the Cheese Society and it has been amazing. We ordered more for a Christmas delivery and it was of very poor quality. It was immature and tasteless. It’s possible that we are the victim of suppliers being under pressure to meet the Christmas demand . However, if quality cannot be maintained then the product should not be sold. Very disappointing.

I placed my third order with The Cheese Society, having previously had great experience. On this occasion, they had been let down by their supplier for one item, but took the trouble to telephone to ask whether I wanted a substitute to be delivered as arranged, or would prefer to wait 24 hours for the item to be included, which was my preference. The point is, how many companies would have bothered these days, just making the decision themselves? Well done to the team, superb service and quality items delivered in perfect condition this morning. Thank you.
Given voucher as a present. Really loving the cheese. Will order again in future.

I have ordered from the Cheese Society several times. The choice and quality of cheeses is superb, delivery is arranged to suit you. The cheese is very well packaged and arrives chilled. Once you have tasted the Cheese Society cheese, you are spoilt for any other alternatives.

We got our 'alternative' wedding cake from The Cheese Society and everything went perfectly; they gave us lots of good advice to begin with, we had a very enjoyable little tasting session and the cheese we picked was provided on time and exactly as ordered.
I have used this company for a couple of years . I have never had any problems ordering, an easy site to navigate, with a good collection of quality cheeses . Delivery is prompt and efficient , with the use of quality packaging and ice packs in the warmer weather .
Seems a bit expensive at first but well worth paying to have access to cheeses other than the standard supermarket ones. I have a local delicatessen but they are very expensive and there isn’t the range of cheeses.
Great experience, wonderful website. Great variety of cheeses@ great prices.
My local cheese shop closed for refurbishment so I searched online for the particular cheeses I was interested in and this company came up.
Delivery was very fast and the cheese in excellent condition although it was a fairly hot day.
I ordered a box of cheese, crackers and a chutney for a friend who's just moved house. It was easy to order, easy to pick a time and day and the hard part was choosing which box! I choose the Lucky Dip box in the end
I buy cheese from the Cheese Society fairly regularly so I knew the cheese would be tasty.
Fabulous cheeses. Fast delivery too. Prices were fair. We tried the Gouda with chilli. Used that on top of a shepherds pie for that kick. Delicious.
The raclette cheese I used in a dauphinoise. It was a hit with everyone.
I’ve already ordered more. Please try this company. You won’t regret it
Experience from Ordering to Delivery couldn’t have been any better. 5 🌟
Excellent selection of beautiful tasty cheeses fresh and different to the run of the mill shop bought cheese.. competitively priced so can gift or treat and delivery prompt and to time.. please keep as you are doing a job
I've been using these guys since Covid and in my opinion they are one of the (if not the) best online Cheese Supplier.
They have a great selection for all tastes, competitive pricing (especially compared to Farm shops) and delivery is simple and effective.
They are also immensely accommodating such as when I had to swap an original order for pasteurised - they made comparative suggestions and the cancel and re-order process was so simple.
As as cheese fiend I can't recommend them enough !
Cheese is amazing, great variety too. The minimum order for free delivery has gone up, it's now £60. I would like to see more weight options when ordering, for instance 250gr of Picos blue cheese is a bit much for us, but it seems to be the smallest piece you can order. We have been buying cheese from the Cheese Society for a few years, great service, quality and a very speedy delivery. We don't buy from supermarkets anymore, we can definitely taste the difference. Thank you Cheese Society!
It was prompt delivery and cheese was enjoyed especially the chutney. Only thing negative is that it was a bit expensive for two bits of cheese and side bits.
