Great quality. Bespoke. Excellent customer service. Perfect from showroom visit to telephone queries to delivery and final product is exactly what we wanted.

Swatches as selected were received together with a lovely brochure wihich contained all the information I needed to make my decision. All arrived very quickly and made it easy for me to choose and order my sofas, winged chair and footstool. I was also impressed with the ordering process. In summary I’m so looking forward to receiving my order in the confidence that the quality and service will certainly meet if not exceed my expectations.

The positive is that the sofas and chair are good quality and well built- really pleased with them. The negative is that the lead time is slow and the customer service is poor. We waited 13 weeks for delivery (6th March- 16th June) with very little communication from customer service. I did all the chasing for updates. The order confirmation should outline the expected delivery date but there's nothing there.

Ordered two 2.5 seater sofas in velvet. The generous size samples came quickly. Nathan and the team were helpful and pleasant to work with. Our delivery was delayed so I was a little disappointed as I was so looking forward to receiving them but when they did arrive...Wow! They looked beautiful and well made. Thank you Team!!

Another great chesterfield from the chesterfield company. Fantastic communication from start to finish.Purchased a 3 seater to go with the 2 seater which we purchased in 2023 .

I am delighted with my wonderful new Arundel sofa from The Chesterfield Company! It looks super and has plenty of space to curl up and have a nap.
The whole experience from ordering it to delivery has been without problems or delay and most helpful. Thank you to Nathan who dealt with the order and looked after me to Pete and Owen who delivered my Arundel and were all really respectful and most helpful. Thank you !

Process from start to finish was very smooth and easy: requested some samples which arrived promptly, feedback and advice also provided over the phone with helpful and knowledgeable staff. Sofas ordered and arrived with the specified time frame exactly and delivery was very quick from completion notification. Happy all round!

I ordered a sample for an idea of colour and leather quality. Beautiful thick robust leather and a fabulous ox blood colour. Time to save my pennies to buy a couple of their sofas!

The chesterfield company have been super helpful and all my questions have been answered in detail. The fabric samples and catalogue received were of great help to me.

Have been waiting for two sofas and an armchair for over ten weeks. Last week we were told that the sofas are ready but the armchair is delayed in production. Communication isn’t great as we have to call to get updates and the employee on the phone doesn’t call back when he says. We chose the company because they were responsive when we requested samples and answered our questions. So we trusted them on the 8 weeks estimated delivery time for the sofas but apparently the armchair takes 10 weeks and they send out all together. Not impressed that we are now in a situation where we will host three guests next week and don’t have furniture in our lounge … while the sofas are ready in a warehouse in Manchester.

The company’s response!
1) No apology that the order is delayed but the company’s response is deflecting by talking about varying lead times which is misleading. The sofas are 8 weeks and chair is 10 weeks but we are well past these now. According to their employee Nathan, the lead times don’t mean that you can expect delivery in the indicated week but when the company finally sends off the furniture with a carrier, then it can take an ADDITIONAL 10 DAYS until arrival- which wasn’t explained to us in advance. A lead or delivery time is normally the time when your purchases reach you at your address, right?!?!
2) We made the mistake not to read any of the negative Trustpilot reviews before ordering but I have done it now and it’s a shocking read to say the least. Such similar experiences to ours; some of them from years ago - which shows that they don’t care about their customer service as there is no evidence of improvements. We got a long defensive email from Nathan AFTER our complaint email … but then he didn’t bother to keep us informed when my husband tried to communicate with him about delivery times. So many customers have complained like us about poor communication and a lack of courtesy calls in advance of delivery - over years!- and they still don’t get it.
People trust them with their hard earned cash and they seem to think this comes without any expectations from the customers’ side!

We had great experience with all teams

I bought 2 two seater Churchill in Avellino Reef and they arrived in the specified time. The colour was exactly what I wanted and they are so comfortable. It was easy to buy on line and for anyone wanting to purchase a sofa I would highly recommend The Chesterfield Company.
