Lodge quite nice although kitchen was poorly equiped with damaged and scratched pans and essential items missing.Location not at all what we expected. It was actually a residential area.We drove through a housing estate to get to lodge, certainly not the rural idyll expected. We had two young children with us 9 and seven who wanted to play out.....Two different residents told them to get away and go back to their own lodge! They were not being nasty or loud so no justification. Very disappointing to say the least.

Dream lodges 5 star for us and more xx

Would 100% have more holidays with dream lodges. Comfortable. Clean. 5 star. Reception lady at blossom hill couldn't do enough to help us. Hot tubs great. Lodges have everything you need in them. Love the signature lodges just wish they wasn't so expensive in school holidays but I guess you pay for what you get.

A really beautiful lodge overlooking sheep fields, just very unfortunate there was an issue with a raw sewage leak right next to ours due to heavy rainfall?! You can imagine not pleasant at all, friendly and helpful staff. Would return again in the future. Keen to try other parks as the homes themelseves are fab

Good holiday

The whole site was very nice and clean , staff were all very pleasant and attentive. Could not have wanted more. Lodge was beautiful and had everything we could have wanted. The spa on site was amazing and the pool area and restaurant were as good .

Devon site

Went to the Devon site this time. Can honestly not fault the site and the manager and her husband that run the site. The only criticism I would have was at the time of booking I specifically ask for no bunk beds as my 2 boys are older 18 & 15.....paying adult prices. But we got bunk beds. This was no reflection on the site only at the time of booking

Was amazing

Loved it, the accommodation was fantastic everything we needed was there.
If I could change anything it would be to put a good park somewhere on site for children to play

Beware when booking with disabled people in party.

Booked a disabled lodge, 5 hour drive to arrive and find a makeshift disabled ramp, consisting of three crudely screwed together planks, and no parking space next to lodge despite booking 8 months prior and multiple calls to Dream Lodge where I was assured there was a bay next to lodge (including day before holiday). If only Dream Lodge were as hot on inclusive practice as they are on sales calls.

The Sanctuary dream building site

I booked a 3 bedroom lodge for my family at The Sanctuary, Berkshire for 5 adults and 2 children (aged 3 years and 4 months old) in February 2017, as we were going to a family wedding on the 10th August 2017. We very very disappointed to arrive to a building site

1. The access / drive to the property was through an industrial estate, through a tunnel (under a bridge) and along a driveway. This driveway had large potholes, overgrown bushes on either side of the road and not suitable for our vehicle. There was rubbish along the drive (discarded mattress).
2. Construction continues on site with equipment/ vehicles and machinery working and therefore unsafe for us, and the children, to access / play (see photograph enclosed).
3. The grass area had been growing, but was not the play area we anticipated, full of weeds and large body of water which was cordoned off.
4. The site had minimal outdoor lighting available and not child friendly.
5. No access to Wi-Fi
6. No overnight warden
7. Having purchased food for our planned barbeque on site, this had to be discarded as it had perished.
8. Limited security (gentleman sitting in a car at the end of the drive/ track).
9. The lodge’s equipment had no instruction and was not functioning properly.
I have made formal complaint to the company but they have not replied. I am very upset and would not recommend to anyone now.

Group of us booked our 'dreamlodge' …

Group of us booked our 'dreamlodge' last year and paid a deposit only to be told a week before arrival that the lodges weren't ready....

They offered us accommodation at a different site which would have meant travelling an extra 100 miles and so we binned the idea in its entirety...

Nightmare lodges would be more appropriate.
