This is just one of several transactions that I have had with The Independent Pharmacy, they are great and deliver orders very quickly.

Yesterday I ordered and paid for Amorolfine 5% Nail Lacquer 5ml. Today I received an email asking to pay a further £6.50. When I reviewed the order I found it had been changed to Curanail 3ml. After sending them an online query (they don't accept phone calls), I received a second email saying their clinical team needed more information, and I'm to log on and answer their questions. The only question there was to answer was their request for the additional £6.50. I am incensed that they should demand an additional payment without the courtesy of explaining why they've changed my order for a more expensive product.
I've just now received a text saying their doctor needs more information, but still without telling me what or where I'll find the questions. As a first time user my first impressions of this company aren't good.

Later...Thank you for your reply below Roni. Rest assured the only emails received from you arrived in my Inbox. That you "recognise the importance of ensuring that any changes to treatment recommendations, additional costs, or requests for information are communicated as clearly as possible" clearly didn't apply in my case!

Ordered a couple of times now and been good service both times. This time the Royal mail accidentally delivered my parcel to the wrong address. I contacted customer service who very promptly responded and sent out a duplicate order so there were no interruptions in my treatment while they chased up royal mail for me. Excellent service will use again.

Terrible, paid for next day delivery £8.99 no clear signage saying it’ll need to be signed for, still undelivered now pointless, was desperate for the treatment, the ticked box said tick if we can put through letter box (which they could it was a tube of cream) yeah perfect throw it in the letterbox
amazing, but no to much effort for them a waste of time and money now £30+ down and treatments now left in some crappy post office cupboard. Don’t waste your money just go to an actual Drs

Online pharmacies have suffered in the past from being linked to dubious places willing to sell prescription medicines to customers in countries where such medicines would legally need a doctor’s prescription to obtain.

The Independent Pharmacy has never been in this category and in today’s world where every business has a website, it’s only natural that this includes pharmacies. This particular outlet is one of the best I have found. I’m currently using them to source weight loss medication and I’m unable to fault them in any way. Deliveries are fast, packaging is excellent and they are very responsive to email queries. These are expensive drugs, but this is mitigated by frequent coupons and offers of up to 15% off orders.

Ordering is very easy, though it is done in a responsible way, with pertinent questions asked and with unflattering photos required to make sure you aren’t anorexic. Your GP is informed, which is the case for any meds which would normally require them being involved, though of course general sales products don’t need this.

I have no hesitation in recommending The Independent Pharmacy for all health related needs and this is a particularly valuable resource for anyone living some distance from their nearest shops or who finds it difficult through disability, to get out and about or like me, simply prefers shopping online.
