Got my invitations quickly and they were great quality!

For some reason when it came to adding guest name and address it was giving me a hard time . When it was just one name it would appear twice on the envelopes and when I had 2 different names one name would show twice on the envelopes. I emailed and even did the online chat with someone and they would just tell me the obvious but even after mentioning that I was doing it nothing happened. I had to order my guest envelopes blank because I need to start sending them out already and now I have to figure out a way to address them nicely. Besides that everything else has been well .

I did not like the app at all. Most vendors that are listed "affordable" or " inexpensive " were quite the opposite. Many vendors take days to reply and some don't at all. I found this to be daunting. Then some reply weeks after I've already booked my second choice and I have already paid deposits. Most have hidden fees that are not disclosed in the app. I wanted my wedding planning experience to be easy not frustrating and exhausting.

Wedding preparation was a very stressful time and my personal time was extremely limited. The knot kept track of the guest list in a huge and wonderful way. Being able to log in and immediately see who had or had not responded was major for me. I appreciated being able to add secondary events as well, it kept great attendance for me.

I used the knot because I had used Zola for my brother’s wedding and I wanted a different experience. It was good and did all the basic things a wedding website would do. It’s also user friendly - even on the app.
One downside I wish I knew was that it doesn’t let you create custom messages to your guests. It’s the same system generated messages you have to send (which are uneditable). So when we wanted folks RSVP or remind them to RSVP or check out the registry or send details about the day of the wedding, we were forced to just use system generated messages that told people to check out the website. When in a third-party texting website for our guests.

Sent an email with some issues and still have not heard.

The website and concept is great and helped us search for vendors for our wedding. However when we ordered the FREE sample of invitations we had to pay $8 in unpaid postage at our front door upon delivery. The free invitations are not free. Beware.

I loved that you could add design notes and the designers did a great job doing what I asked! But I wish it was a little quicker- I waited 4 business days to hear back from them which in reality was 6 days due to the weekend which seemed a little excessive.

Speaking with customer service was very helpful instead of just using AI.

Your post purchase communication process needs improvement. I had a need to change the shipping location 5 minutes after placing the order and it was a painful process. The ultimate outcome was a cancelled order.

After submitting my order for save the date cards and envelopes, the editors sent out an email for my guest list addresses promptly. They always checked to see if I needed to make changes before printing, which I did, and they made the changes very quickly. I received my order much sooner than I expected! Very quick turnaround! I’m excited to order the rest of my stationary from The Knot.

In the stress of all things wedding planning
I somehow screwed up and made our poster wrong: I ended up not capitalizing my name. I was so bummed about it, but the Knot went above and beyond and sent me a replacement with the correction. Amazing!

The website was easy to navigate and finding the perfect gift on the couples registry was simple. I had questions on the delivery and they were answered very quickly. I am very satisfied with my experience.

Website didn’t have couples address so it got deliver to me instead- was a hassle to return although you did supply a Fed ex return label. Just improve your website!

The Knot has increased their fees so much that I can no longer afford to advertise with them. I have for months been paying in more than the revenue I received for officiating at weddings. (Wedding officiants, such as a Justice of the Peace, as I am, are the lowest-paid wedding professionals. Photographers, videographers, and DJs get paid thousands of dollars per wedding, and wedding officiants are lucky to receive a couple of hundred dollars.) When a couple clicks on a wedding officiant that they want to check out, they are shown additional officiants WHO ARE COMPETITORS in the results!!! We already have enough competition!!! The Knot is failing its advertisers!!! In addition, a lot of the couples who did make an inquiry stopped replying after receiving a quotation for my services; completely ghosted me! I can no longer afford to advertise with The Knot at all. Years ago, it was the best go-to place.

No one EVER contacted me about my question. Total lack of communication and professional courtesy!

Did not communicate that product ordered was out, then wanted to issue a credit to the couple after I requested a refund as another gift was purchased.

When I ordered my item from The Knot's registry page the purchase did not follow through and when I went back to try and fix the issue, the item was marked "purchased." Not knowing if I would be paying for a second item, I went ahead and ordered what was asked for off of Amazon, hoping there was a glitch. When I reached out to customer service with my issue, I recieved and AI chatbot with a response that was drastically out of touch with what I had written. One disappointing moment after another. Finally, someone reached out from the Knot to see if they could assist ( I assume it was a human but who knows), and by that time my issue was non-existent. I will not be recommending The Knot to any newlyweds.
