Very poor, zero communication, after probate and house sale!

Chased many many a time - phone calls and emails ignored. Lied too on more than 3 occasions

Had inheritance money for 4 weeks, no outstanding debts all cleared but was told they would send final accounts over to approve on 3 separate occasions and never came on any of the occasions,

Still no sign of when the accounts will be sent for approval!

Extremely disappointing with the amount you get charged!

The staff were very helpful and customer friendly throughout the whole purchasing process. They returned my calls promptly, they got us through the process hassle free. I would highly recommend Thorneycroft to anyone.

I thoroughly recommend Thorneycroft Solicitors - I have had a brilliant experience working with Grace Price, Dianah Taylor, Jennifer Berry and team. I was transferring my house into my name and had no experience of doing anything like this before. It was done so quickly, efficiently and smoothly. Dianah and the kind receptionist helped me with my onboarding documents very quickly. Grace then started work on my case and she explained everything so clearly. She was so responsive and moved every step along so efficiently with clear explanations on what was happening next and when I could expect it. The whole transfer was completed in a matter of weeks. I had previously heard that it all may take some time but this was certainly not the case. After my elderly mum of 80, at the time, had a fall in a shop and broke her wrist in 2 places due to their terrible entrance mat and also hit her head on a unit too close to the door, I knew I had to do something so other people, young or old, and their families, wouldn't suffer aswell.
I approached a solicitors who do no win no fee to enquire about how to go about putting in a claim as had never done so before, and after the initial phonecall, who I must say was very professional, knowledgeable but also very kind and considerate to our situation, I was contacted by a solicitor of the company called Hayley Gibson. My name being Hayley too I thought good omen from the start!
Hayley, through out my mum's claim, was simply the best, showing all the same characteristics which I have already mentioned above and so much more.
She was always consistent with her approach in our communications,of which was 90% emails that I had requested, but also phone calls when an important/fast discission had to be discussed or answered immediately.
Hayley would always put this into an email the same day so I had a copy of the content and conclusion of the phone call.
Hayley's attention to detail on documents was second to none and portrayed every detail I had explained to her but in a professional way, not like my garbled info.
She always responded to any misconceptions I had straight away or with in the same day, if not a weekend of course.
Hayley's advice on what would help mums case was invaluable! All arrangements to gain evidence of mums suffering in the following months, post accident, Hayley made for us to attend. Having the fall mums dementia took a vast decline to the point she wouldn't go out for the sheer fear of falling again, ending up reclusive. So Hayley advised that maybe an assessment with an outside agency, who deal with such difficulties, would be a good idea to clarify that the fall was the reason for this and not her actual dementia due to her being quite active before hand. We went ahead with this and the report of mum's assessment was amazing and undoubtedly went a long way for our evidence as well as the hospital x-rays and reports, photos of mum arm bruising, the shop flooring, and a lovely lady, that Hayley also put forward to help mum, who specialized in CBT. Another gold star for Hayley.

Hayley produced everything to the court and in turn to the defendants solicitor, who had argued that her clients were not at fault for months on end untill reading our case file and looking at all our evidence. There was a swift turn about in the defendants decision and suddenly they pleaded guilty offering an amount to pay out of court. Hayley, being a true compassionate person, managed to negotiate a much high figure for us too.

The work and advice Hayley did and gave really was so efficient and caring as if she herself was doing a personal claim for one of her own family members.

I/we believe that there simply cannot be another like Hayley in her field. She truly made the claim process easier than I ever imagined it could be. She answered every single question that was put to her in a professional but Leyman terms so it was easy for me to understand. She gave advice on what would be good for our case such as out side agencies evidence and contacted them to arrange the assessments with us, kept us up to date at all times and all the above with such empathy but with professionalism.

Horrendous experience with this firm over 7 months.
They ignore emails they ignore questions and even worse instruction. They don't keep promises to call you back.They have seemingly high staff turnover leading to more confusion. There compliance department is highly defensive of firm even when they are proven to be wrong. They were simply not on our side at any point. Do not choose them for conveyancing. Ps. If you do, be prepared to receive lots of " We are not in the office today we'll be back in 5 days "replies to your emails". PPS To person writing review feedback offering to investigate our case. You have already decided you have done nothing wrong so don't bother! Totally Unprofessional.
