Excellent customer service from a very helpful guy at the Asda Sovereign Harbour store. It was only a minor issue with a watch strap but Paul was courteous and obliging. I couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks Paul.

High Barnet branch.
I left my partner's watch with your branch for a replacement battery. Following a subsequent appointment, I unfortunately forgot to return to collect the watch. I later contacted the branch and explained that I would collect it on Monday.
Due to work commitments, my partner attended the branch on my behalf to collect the watch. Unfortunately, the sales representative refused to release the watch, stating that my partner was unable to provide proof that he was authorised to collect it on my behalf. This was despite my partner providing a description of me and showing a photograph of me. The sales representative acknowledged that he recognised me from my earlier visit, yet still declined to release the watch.
While I appreciate the importance of safeguarding customers' property, I was extremely disappointed by what occurred when I returned to the branch today. During our conversation, the sales representative described my partner as "acting weird" and stated that he "smelled of alcohol". I immediately informed him that my partner does not drink alcohol. Despite this, he repeated the comment rather than acknowledging that his assumption may have been unfounded.
What I find particularly concerning is that my partner is a stroke survivor and, as a result, may occasionally present with differences in speech, mobility or communication that are not immediately apparent. These are examples of hidden disabilities. I would expect customer-facing staff to demonstrate sensitivity, professionalism professionalism and awareness when interacting with individuals whose presentation may be affected by a disability or medical condition.
The comments made about my partner were inappropriate, unprofessional and could reasonably be perceived as discriminatory. Rather than making assumptions about a customer's behaviour or condition, staff should be mindful that there may be underlying medical reasons for how a person presents.
I am also concerned that, when challenged, the sales representative chose to persist with these remarks rather than reflect on the possibility that he had misinterpreted my partner's presentation. Such comments have the potential to cause distress and offence, particularly to individuals living with hidden disabilities and their families.

Would just like to leave a review for the lovely gentleman called Bailey who works in Timpsons Walthamstow . I needed a new key sensor for my Vauxhall Adam rocks car that had worn out after 11 years. With that being said wasn’t able to open the passenger side or boot . I looked online first to find these are now anything from £150 to £280 ( I also know 4x4 keys are £1,800).Anyway was passing by whilst shopping on my day off from work and enquired at Timpsons to find out that you do provide key replacements . This made my day 🤩as the cost was much more reasonable ( £50) with a year guarantee . Bailey was very very helpful and he got everything done for me in half an hour . Gave me back the carcass of the old key just incase I need another in time . Bailey you made my day and very professional and courteous with it …. Customer service 100% I will be back . 😊

Ok went in to timpsons goole with a 34 year old toyota key,ive tried many shops and their key failed to work so this guy im sure was polish,was very very friendly he searched,found a blank ,cut it ,and proceed to shut up shop while he walked across town to try the key in my car ,it worked perfectly, so we walked bk n I paid 30 pound and I am so glad there are still people around that go above and beyond to help customers,you need to let him know ive put this timpsons boothferry road goole

I would like to express my appreciation for the excellent customer service I recently received at your Tesco Culverhouse branch, Cardiff.
I visited the store to enquire about replacing the batteries in a scientific calculator. Unfortunately, as the batteries were not lithium batteries, a replacement service was not available. However, after purchasing replacement AA batteries from Tesco, I asked whether they could be fitted.
The gentleman who assisted me was extremely kind and helpful. He replaced the batteries for me without any charge, despite it not being a service he was required to provide. His willingness to help and friendly attitude were greatly appreciated.
Please pass on my sincere thanks and recognition for his excellent customer service. Experiences like this reflect very positively on Timpson and make a real difference to customers.

I called in to Timpson’s in Loughborough yesterday and the man working there today, Paul Phillips, refused to take in my shoes because he didn’t have time to do them and he said as he was only there 1 day a week he couldn’t take shoes in for someone else to do. I explained that I have driven there specifically to drop off the shoes and I only wanted reinforcements on the front soles as has been done there on other shoes many times before. Also that there was no rush as I don’t need them for a couple of weeks, but he still refused to take them saying they have a lot of apprentices who can’t do everything.
He was incredibly rude and I am still in shock over how he spoke to me and will never be returning. Such a shame as I have used this shop for many years and have always tried to support Timpsons, but i have now lost all confidence and trust in the people they employ in their loughborough branch

I had a battery replaced in my TAG Heuer watch by Timpson in May 2025. This watch had never previously had a battery change and the case back had never come off in the 9 years I owned it.
The watch is only worn on special occasions and was worn once after the battery replacement. When I next went to wear it, the case back was missing and the watch no longer worked.
I raised the issue with Timpson and provided my battery guarantee card, but they refused to help, stating too much time had passed since the battery replacement. They also ignored the fact that I had spent months trying to resolve the issue through the branch before contacting customer support.
Very disappointed with both the outcome and the customer service. A premium watch has been left unusable and Timpson has taken no responsibility whatsoever.

We went shopping at Tesco extra in Crewe ( vernon way ) and noticed a new Timpson shop, we hesitated before we went as I have a silver bracelet which is very sentimental it has a heart on it which I have wanted engraved for a long time, and have been to other shops,who said it could not be done as it was too small, also a small jeweller who quoted £75 and said it would have to be sent away, we spoke to Dave and explained what we wanted he gave advice as to what could be done,and what engraving would fit, he suggested we have a coffee while he did the engraving or go and pack our shopping away within the short time it took us to go to the car park and load our shopping away, We returned and Dave had done a wonderful job with the engraving! I could not be happier, the advice and engraving Dave done was first class, Timpsons within Tesco Extra Crewe is certainly going to be beneficial to customers, once again Thank You Dave for a wonderful job!

Put a boot in for a zip replacement 22nd April 26 it's been gone 7wks and still not done offered 50%off cost and vouchers I don't think so absolutely shocking service. It's a riding boot struggling to ride in only one long boot!!

Timpsons was twice unable to cut a standard door key that worked. When I tried to return the key for a refund, to a store distant to where I live, the shop was inexplicably closed at 10.15am.
I am now unable to receive a refund.
The key was successfully cut at a local locksmith at half the price that Timpsons charged.
Incredibly poor service.
