Rogues

Rogues
This company has no morels.
They took £5000 from me as a refundable gesture of goodwill and then would not refund as promised. Once they have your money that's it, gone. They have had various staff make empty promises and lie to me. Of course I have all of this in writing and have now easily won in court which they tried unsuccessfully to wriggle out of. I have just applied for judgement so they will have a CCJ against them soon and following this I will send the bailiffs to recover my money. They are untrustworthy and will lie, cheat and say anything, you have been warned. Do not deal with these rogues. I am going to send a report to rogue traders, I would love to see them on the BBC to answer to this. How can they expect to get away with treating customers like this.

Avoid this company!!

My own personal experience is to avoid this company at all costs. After 2.5 years of constant shoddy workmanship I am still waiting for work to be completed from the original snagging list. They tell you Tingdene homes have now gone but, it was Tingdene parks that took my money. You are constantly fobbed off with one excuse after another. Before buying at Badgerwood, come and ask anyone of there experience, and we will all tell you the same. AVOID!!

Worst company on earth…

Totally agree with all comments on this site,
Tingdene are by far the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with, lies, deciet, failed promises, shoddy workmanship, cheap poor quality materials, jack of all trades masters of none workmen, to name but a few this company should not be allowed to get away with this they should be dragged through the courts and made to pay.
We have been waiting 3 1/2 years for our rendering to be repaired hollow promises time and time again, several faults/issues they failed/refused to put right from day one the list goes on as with other contributors how do these people sleep at night.

SCAMMERS that are Tingdene Directors

Tingdene have got bust however Ian Scott WILKINS the director has reappeared as the sole director of Scott Alexander Ltd, C/O Tingdene Homes Limited. Seems rather stinky, you bet it is. Screwed over all his creditors, staff and customers only to rise again. 10 year warranty is worthless and value of lodge has fallen through the floor.

Think twice before booking.

We were called the afternoon before our holiday and was then cancelled our Christmas was a complete joke also our son was due to join us so was also devastated. I did get full refund but since Tingdean have taken over the whole site has gone downhill. Have been coming for 10 years but will not return. Both our son and daughter will not return. Our daughter was moved 3 times as decking was collapsing then the next one hit tub out of action 3rd one ok. Staff are good but their hands are tied.

Well well well

Well well well, finally your company has closed not a minute too soon.
Maybe now all you so called customer service employees and directors will have the time to read and digest all the emails of complaints from people that you have totally ignored and fobbed off with your lies and broken promises.
What goes around comes around
Enjoy your Christmas 🎄

My husband handed them a rejection letter to reject our home which no doubt will get thrown in the bin as whilst he was there the high court RIT officer was there!!! Leaves people without homes or with homes that are not fit for purpose with now warranties pointless and not worth the paper it’s written on absolutely disgusting behaviour. People have spent their life saving on these homes to to ripped off completely !!!!!!

About to fold. Avoid this company. Run by crooks

Sat in their office today after driving 160 miles and in the end escorted off the premises by police. They said originally they would reimburse me money for jobs I have paid out for on their poorly manufactured homes and are now refusing to pay without a court order. Do not deal with this company. It’s about to fold. They owe hundreds of thousands of pounds to people and companies. They have sacked off all after sales but yet they are still going ahead with sales. This company is corrupt and are actually now stealing peoples money knowing full well they won’t deliver the product or after sales service that is deserved! The directors had a choice today to speak with me and pay my invoice and they refused, they hid and sent their head of finance out to me who couldn’t help me. I’ve been trying to contact them for weeks now and been met with silence. No calls, no emails! They have paid staff late or not at all over the last few month. Accounts are overdue. How can they morally do this? I hope they hang their heads in shame! Crooks!

Tingdene a face and sinister company

I agree with all that has been said about Tingdene. It seems that the phones and contacts are not answering. A Director Ian Scott Wilkins has started a new company called Scott Alexander Ltd in May 2022 and on the face of it it feels like this will be a vehicle for a phoenix rising from the ashes of Tingdene. Check out the accounts on Companies house as the next ones are overdue and the accountancy reference date has been changed again a clear sign that they are in trouble. Cancelled appointments to repair a park home on many occasions and the last one didn't even bother to tell us

Couldn't agree more with all the bad…

Couldn't agree more with all the bad reviews.
Terrible customers services and excuse after excuse for not turning up to do repairs. (Covid has come in handy) Even if by a miracle they do turn up the repair men are not very skilled and often have to come back to do the job again.
Do not touch this company with a barge pole.
Would have given it 0 stars.

Tingdene Homes are a DISGRACE

Tingdene Homes are the most horrendous outfit I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Along with all the other reviewers I have had the same problems.
CUSTOMER SERVICE?? IT DOES NOT EXIST. All you get if you manage to contact them is false promises and excuses, shortage of staff, materials, the van broke down etc.
All these cowboys want is is your hard earned money.
They have no scruples whatsoever and I wonder if their
conscience allows them to sleep at night.
This review is genuine so if you value your health and sanity steer well clear.
ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.

Absolutely terrible company

Absolutely terrible company, I have been waiting nearly 4 years for repairs to my home, been told it would be fixed numerous times and then they don’t bother turning up! Customer services never answer phone or emails and even leave phone on whilst they call you names to each other ! Now getting a solicitor and going down the legal route, have numerous letters admitting the fault and was even told they were inundated with calls as they are worried they used substandard products to make home!
