I had the most atrocious Customer Service
I had the most atrocious customer service experience with the Hallam FedEx/TNT Depot. I got told to shut up, got sworn at, and they hung up the phone in my face!!! All that because I called up to ask why my already 5 day late delivery wasn't getting delivered today, and got left behind at the dock for ANOTHER day!
The coward that treated me rudely, didn't mention his name, to make sure I won't be able to trace him back and submit a formal complaint. Absolute coward! He only acted tough when he's hiding behind a phone with an anonymous identity, what a big man you are?! Absolutely disgusting behaviour!
The story begins: with me calling up 13 11 50 at 11:45am on 05/11/2025 to enquire about my delivery that was promised to be delivered on 05/11/2025. At this point, the delivery was already 5 days late.
After speaking to a Customer Service operator on the phone who was very polite and understanding, he said he will transfer me to the Hallam Depot directly to ask them about why my delivery isn't coming today (05/11), as previously promised via email earlier in the week.
The phone rang at the Hallam Depot FedEx/TNT Station, and a man with an "Australian English accent" picked up. He didn't introduce himself or mention his name, and asked me arrogantly, what do I want! After I told him what the issue is, he said he is already aware of my shipment, and said that I wasn't promised a delivery date. He is a liar, I was told it will be delivered on 05/11 by Anthony Horder via email on Monday 03/11/2025.
This man from depot also said that my shipment was forgotten behind on the dock, and there is nothing to do about it, it was just left behind, deal with it!
So, he admitted to messing up that the delivery was left behind, yet no apology given for that, and told me to shut up and wait, or come pick it up myself this afternoon, and before I could even say anything back, HE HUNG UP THE CALL IN MY FACE!!! The RUDEST, most DISGUSTING, most ATROCIOUS Customer Service Experience I've ever come across to date.
FedEx/TNT will never cease to surprise me with how low they can get. Not just that your drivers put the lowest effort in the deliveries they do, your Hallam Depot staff are incredibly rude, too.
The funniest part, after he hung up, I was asked to leave a review and rate my interaction out of 5 stars haha! This company is a joke.
Incredibly rude customer service, the worst I've ever come across. Absolutely disgusting behaviour to hang up the call on a customer! I didn't swear at him or raise my voice, not even once, I was very civil on the phone despite my frustration with TNT/FedEx constantly dropping the ball with my deliveries. And of course, he didn't mention his name to me on the phone on purpose, to make sure he can't be traced back by Customer Relations Team or anyone within the company when I file a complaint like this.
Please find out who that person is, and take the necessary reprimanding action. No one should ever talk to a customer in this manner. These are the absolute basics of customer service. Time for FedEx/TNT to take accountability for who they hire. Just because Depot staff aren't customer facing, doesn't mean they don't need to undergo Customer Service Training like everyone else in the company.
I decided to go pickup my delivery by myself from the depot. I don't want to deal with FedEx/TNT ever again! And I am awaiting a follow up from you that this employee has been identified and spoken to regarding their incompetent and rude customer service to me on the phone.
Negative reviews from me will appear everywhere online in relation to this incident. I will make sure I never use your services for sending or receiving any goods. I will specifically request from any online seller to not use FedEx/TNT when shipping to me, and I will be very happy to pay more or wait longer, and use any other logistics company. DHL, Australia Post, UPS, USPS, Aramex... etc. plenty of options out there that deliver better than you do, deliver on time, cost the same or cheaper, and have better customer service.
Pathetic late delivery and re scheduled…
Pathetic late delivery and re scheduled blaming customer request BUT no request existed! I'm the customer, then hides behind an delivery Estimate instead of admitting system failure!
Delivery has still not been received due next tuesday over a week late and 2 reschedules by TNT !
A complete nightmare to deal with
A complete nightmare to deal with. They literally have 1 job!
Most horrible courier in Australia
Should get a negative stars review. Horrible service, wasted all day waiting at home, no door knock, nothing, didn't even attempt delivery. Called me from No Caller ID, which I picked up, they didn't say anything, just hung up. Moments later told me they attempted delivery but I wasn't home. I called immediately, told me they cannot ask the driver to turn back. I have to reschedule and waste another day. Are you serious???? How does this courier not go out of business???
Absolutely unacceptable experience with…
Absolutely unacceptable experience with TNT Australia.
We ordered an oil pit from Sydney to Adelaide. We were told it should take about 2 weeks, but now it has been more than 1 month and STILL nothing has arrived.
First, we were promised it would arrive on Friday, then the plumber said by Monday/Tuesday at the latest. That was already after 3 weeks. Now it is the 4th week, and there is still no delivery.
Because of this delay, everything in our project is stuck. We cannot install our stove, we cannot continue our setup, and our entire schedule is ruined. This is not just a small delay — TNT has completely disrupted our work.
Even worse, TNT cannot even provide a clear delivery date anymore. Where is our shipment? How can a local delivery from Sydney to Adelaide take more than a month? This is beyond ridiculous.
I am extremely frustrated and angry. TNT’s service is unreliable, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I would strongly warn others to avoid TNT.
My delivery was two weeks late
My delivery was two weeks late, there were no updates for the delay and I had to try to contact them multiple times and they never even apologised for the mistake
I suggest anyone considering using this…
I suggest anyone considering using this company to think again. It would appear post merger with Fedex (who historically had a good record, excellent tracking and reliable accurate customer service) that they have not replicated the internal systems of Fedex and provide a below standard service across most every level. Over the past 6 weeks I have had boxes returned from depots where they have been sitting for months, no one can explain why, mis information across the board and little to no ability to rectify, an off shore call centre that can do nothing but apologise and provide no eta's and a company that is obsessed with raising case queries that are a road to no where. Charges appearing on my billing as debit adjustments with no detail and an incredibly complex internal admin whereby you are transeferred from one person to another with no results. After calling on 5 occasions today regarding an urgent shipment and being told it was "with a driver and down for delivery", I finally started asking for a senior manager late in the afternoon to get to the bottom of where the driver was and when it would be delivered, I was finally told that the goods were still at the depot, had never been collected by a driver and would probably be delivered tomorrow. When I asked probably or would be, the operator said unfortunately I cannot guarantee anything. TNT/Fedex have unfortunately morfed into a Telstra of sorts where they have officially lost all control and visibility of goods and where they are. I have been told that they cannot contact drivers with them continually saying the depot has to update them. In other words you cannot press them to call someone and make anything happen. This company has a large proportion of the market and have no real interest in helping. Finally, be wary of theor online booking and quoting system. They are live with a system that is far from perfect. You book a job, it lists the details including the cost and in particular if it's a rural site you could be charged a random additional fee because contractors are involved. When pressed on this you get the obligatory "I'm so sorry" where they have no intention or real ability of answering logically or professionally.
I'm moving on now and closing our account. If you have customers like me that demand timely deliveries and don't mind paying for the service you need to go elsewhere. The grief this company puts you through is just not worth it. I learnt the hard way...
DO NOT USE TNT, DAMAGE, NO CALL, NO DELIVERY
DO NOT USE TNT
DAMAGE YOUR GOOD
NO CALL
NO COMMUNICATION
NO DELIVERY
TNT MUST NOT EXIST IN AUSTRALIA
They don’t use phones
They don’t use phones. If your item does not get picked up they don’t notify you.
Ordered a battery for a defibulator…
Ordered a battery for a defibulator (life or death machine) for 330 eoros. The company gave it to TNT for delivery. TNT says it was delivered, it was NOT.
In future I will ask who is the transporter if it is TNT I will not purchase.
Stay far away!
In my experience, 4 out of 5 deliveries have arrived more than a week late — when they arrive at all. The level of inconsistency is astounding, with little to no communication or accountability throughout the process.
If your business or customers depend on timely delivery, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. This company has proven to be completely unreliable and has cost us both time and confidence. Spend your money with a logistics provider that actually delivers.
Express package is not delivered yet…
Express package is not delivered yet after 5days. Totally crap company. No recomend to have buisiness with TNT!!!!
Useless
Paid for 4 day express shipping for an Item from NSW, made it to brisbane to their depot but then was shipped back to nsw, specifically tamworth. Had to contact them for them to realise their screw up. Was promised a date for delivery and a time which it will be done by. It is now well past that time and have had zero responses from them. Stay away from these idiots. Absolutely useless, they have one job and cant even do that right
Never attempted delivery, courier it yourself.
Never attempted delivery to my address, simply issued a notification for me to pick it up from a collection point. Why bother using a courier that doesn’t even try to deliver items?
Stanley cup
Why during the Stanley cup when the panthers score when the game is Edmonton they don't show the panthers watch party because when Edmonton scored the show thier watch party sorta bias
You need to get rid of that damn tennis…
You need to get rid of that damn tennis bullshit in sports off of TNT and put the regular TV programming back on there. Everybody don’t wanna watch that stuff there’s ESPN for all that garbage.
they missed their delivery dates twice…
they missed their delivery dates twice on the same package. called their customer service 4 times and got the run around
If I could give negative stars
If I could give negative stars, I would.
TNT is, without doubt, the worst-performing logistics company I’ve ever dealt with. They have repeatedly caused serious issues with our business-to-business deliveries.
On one occasion, they lost an entire pallet—which we eventually located ourselves, thanks only to an honest member of the public. TNT refused to accept it was lost, insisting it was still "in transit" for weeks. The only way to get any resolution was to rebook a pickup for the very same pallet, just so they would collect it. When we finally recovered it, the pallet had been left out in the elements and had sustained rain damage.
They’ve also incorrectly charged extra delivery fees on multiple occasions, claiming our regular commercial delivery address was a “private residence.” And most recently, they billed us for a shipment of 20 x 5kg boxes, falsely claiming the consignment weighed 296kg.
If you can avoid using this company, do. Their level of incompetence is astounding. It’s logistics failure on steroids.
Extremely bad !
Must be actually -5 ... Terrible service in Greece. Two shipments with TNT - Fedex and twice the same issue , false tracking details, long transit, they change schedule while not demanded, state fake delivery attempt ... they should be banned from doing business ! A shame for other couriers !!!
Parcel tracking down for way too long
Parcel tracking has been down for customers for nearly 2 months and TNT/Fedex are doing nothing about it. Our customers are frustrated as they think we are not sending their items.
