Worst ever seen

I wish I could attach a screenshot to support my review.
They have picked up the package from my office on 22nd of April, and today 28th of April at 1600h I still see the status ''collecting 22/4/2025''
I mean they don't even care updating the status on their tracking platform/webpage.

Wish a negative rating were allowed

Is there a way to give zero star? Because if any company deserves it, it is them. Repeatedly lying about no one being home when they don't even bother checking via the intercom or knocking. This is a common practice for this fraudulent company. The staff at my local pick up point where they drop off all packages (because they do not want to individually unload the boxes at each address) confirmed that many customers have complained that TNT doesn't ever attempt to deliver the items at the designated address. Then they dared charge me an exorbitant fee two weeks after delivering a box of my personal items, claiming that it was overweight. No evidence or details was given. This is daylight robbery. I really hope they get shut down soon. Have no idea how and why FedEx is letting them brazenly cheat customers. Please avoid. And if any brand is still using their shipping services, refuse to buy their products.

Overcharging Based On Incorrect Chargeable Weight Calculations

We occasionally use TNT for some of our business destinations. The bookings are made through Transdirect (a freight brokerage company and highly recommended !).

Every single time we ship with TNT, they advise us that we underdeclared our carton dimensions and as a consequence, they add on at least 25 to 30% additional charge to the original freight charge.

When we first experienced this, we deliberately added 3 cm on each box dimension to account for any so called errors in dimensional calculations. For example, if the correct carton dimensions are 57 X 41 X 38 cm, we enter 60 X 44 X 41 cm in the booking form.

Even after doing this, we are STILL being charged an additional 25-30% of the original freight charge for "underdeclaring" !! This beggars belief !!

We use several carriers in our business with daily shipments of between 10-20 cartons to destinations across Australia. To name a few : Direct Freight Express (excellent service and prices), Allied Express (excellent service and prices), Couriers Please (excellent service and prices). All these carriers pick up shipments from us on a daily basis.

in the 20 years we have been in business, we have never had an issue with underdeclared dimensions with any of the other carriers we work with. All of them have correctly calibrated laser technology to determine carton dimensions.

Forthwith, we have stopped using TNT and will never use them again.

Zero Stars - What a poor excuse for a company

What a poor excuse for a company TNT is.

Firstly they never made a delivery attempt.

After not attempting to make a single delivery they dropped the parcel at a remote location

I called to complain, was advised the issue would be investigarwd and I would receive a call back. Consistent with prior experiences, of course no call

No delivery, no call, no customer service, TNT should be no company

Worst transport in 30 years

Ive been is transport for 30 years , worst service ever . i admit there was an address problem which is on me . But no call , no follow up to find right address . I Literally got an email saying it was my responsibility to track my package not TNT (they signed a con-note to pick up and deliver my goods ) and they admitted they don't employ anyone to follow these up . So do they just get dumped in the rubbish ? I onl;y got the email after multiple complaints to my supplier . That was 3 days ago still not delivered , still sitting where it was three days ago . And don't try to call their help centre its run by AI so no people to talk to . Ill be driving my Ute into the middle of their warehouse tomorrow , lets see if they like their business disrupted and cost them money . i have attached the email where they say they take no responsibility

Worst customer service…

One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Chasing a delivery over the phone only to be answered by an agent who seemed like to have been woken up from sleep. The person was yawning away with little interest to what I was saying. When asked to be transferred to a supervisor, the person said I would get a call back in 2 hours. It's been 5 days and still waiting!!! It's OK to outsource the work but who is checking on whats happening.

zero stars

If i could give no stars, I would. Terrible service, a lot of empty promises and sad excuses. Took them more than a week to deliver 1 box from Melbourne airport to CBD. It would be quicker to walk to there and back. Everyone i know has bad experiences with them. Save your time and money and use any other carrier. TNT/FEDEX is not reliable.

I have already paid an import tax bill…

I have already paid an import tax bill to fedex which was handled by TNT and now TNT have sent me another import tax bill asking for the same sum. Also threatening me when it's already paid, i have already emailed them twice with no reply.

Wasted my time waiting outside my workplace for nothing! And the excuse was you couldnt fin the place? Other than the address and shop name, do you want to have a gps location to be specific for your Lazy drivers?

If I could give them no stars I would

If I could give them no stars I would. The company NEVER delivered an item but said it was refused and abandoned. Then I attempted to speak to the manager and left several voicemails with no response. Then on top of that, the company that I ordered the item (car part) said that they will not issue any type of refund because shipping said the item was abandoned and refused.

Worst delivery service

Worst delivery serviceBy far the worst delivery service i have come across, worked very hard with the supplier to get an item out asap as it is needed for an event. Failed to deliver 3 times to a business that is open till 10pm and the reason due to time restraints. Worst communication and follow ups, they promise you call backs that never happen untill it is too late. They claim the drivers are 5 mins away from the delivery but they never show up. This experience has cost me 7k in loses, plus futur business. I will not be buying from any supplier that uses them as a delivery service.

Shocking service and untrustworthy

Shocking service - so bad you end up just doing everything yourself. I ordered an item on the 30th November and was told it was "TNT Express 1 Business Day" which would've meant 2nd or 3rd of December for it to be expected after the weekend. Instead it was dispatched on the 4th and I was informed it would be delivered on the 5th. I organised a day off from work so I could wait around to sign for it, and it never came. Instead it suddenly arrived to an empty house (I was working that day) on the 6th and was taken back to the depot. They asked me to arrange a day to re-deliver and offered the 9th. I agreed and again took another day off from work, waiting all day to nothing. They tried again to deliver it on the 10th and instead again were unable to. Now today I get a call telling me my "best option moving forward" is a pick up from the depot. I can't take more time off work and the depot is a 45 minute drive one way from my house with tolls, closing at 5pm each day. What's the point in paying for a delivery service if it takes 2 weeks to reach the point where you end up having to be the delivery driver and paying even more to be inconvenienced? No apologies were given to me, they showed absolutely no flexibility in their service and completely unreliable and untrustworthy organisation of delivery times. I'm generally a very patient person and I understand it's a busy time of year, but this has been a complete joke. I will actively be avoiding purchasing from any companies that offer their service from now on.

EDIT: I’ve just got back from picking up the shipment, and they didn’t have the kindness to also let me know they’d lost part of the shipment until I got there. They let me pick up the rest of it but otherwise said they may be able to locate and deliver it by the 19th but, in the words of the gentleman I was dealing with, “I don’t have enough faith in our system to guarantee that day”. At least he was the first honest person I’ve dealt with at this company. I’m over it - I’ve cancelled the remainder of the shipment and am seeking a refund on the undelivered goods.

Left parcel completely undelivered

They left my international parcel sitting in a depot corner because it didn’t have a correct phone number visible on the outside. Address was correct but no delivery attempted. One google search of my name as displayed on the label shows my phone number and email in the first hit.
But no contact with me or the sender was attempted.
So my package got from Texas USA to Mudgee NSW in 7 days. Then sat in a corner for 24 days just 12km from the delivery address. Disgraceful.
Submitted a complaint to the company with zero response.

These guys honestly are just terrible

These guys honestly are just terrible. I was expecting a delivery on Friday so I organised to work from home Thursday/Friday. I get a message shortly after leaving for work on Wednesday "Sorry we missed you". Excuse me? There was never any update to say the package was arriving earlier.

Fine. Whatever. Schedule for redelivery, says it will be here on Friday. Get a message at 4:30 AM on Friday "Sorry we missed you". What the actual F? I have security cameras and I was home all day on Thursday so no, they didn't try to redelivery. I'm currently writing this at 5 AM so I have no resolution at present.

I don't understand how you can be so bad at the one thing you do, but here we are.

Paid for an express delivery

Paid for an express delivery, which we still haven't received. I have spoken to them on multiple occasions, and so has the vendor. They just refuse to deliver. We are a large organisation, and our building door is not open to the public. Instead there is an intercom handset on the door with a nice clear sign that says pick up the phone and press 1 for entry. However, on 3 attempts, this has not been done. Our vendor was given the explanation that "we were not at home" although it's a business, and that their drivers "don't call customers". Now, we have to drive to the other side of the city to pick up our own delivery, when this should have been delivered 2 weeks ago.
Terrible customer service, and nobody really cares there. I keep getting told I will get a call back with an update, but it never happens.

"AUTHORITY TO LEAVE" or NOT

When you state "AUTHORITY TO LEAVE" that is exactly what it means. You drop off the goods, take a photo as proof of delivery and then leave just like every other courier. Yet, FedEx wants a signature and a name although it is “AUTHORITY TO LEAVE” and when you do not provide it, the driver gets angry and start getting aggressive and then threatens you with boycotting our business for deliveries. It even seemed like he wanted to get physical just by the way his demeanor was which was pleasant. What makes this worse, the aggressive driver then lies and states we assaulted him which is a blatant accusation trying to justify his own childish reasoning for his actions. Even the arrogant staffer who called us shortly after, Martin Karz, who is a manager at TNT sided with their driver without any evidence of an assault occurring. Where is the bruise on the driver Martin? The scratch, any signs of an assault occurring? There is none because it never occurred but yet Martin decides to black list our company just because he can.

Our primary driver of over 15 years, he is a great driver, no problems, does his job very well so maybe instead of looking at us for blame, why don’t you look deeper into the aggressive lying driver you have their who managed to ruin our relationship instead? It only took him 3 deliveries to cause this when our primary driver of 15 years hasn't had a single problem with us.
