Genuine 5* Service from Simon
I responded to a google ad that was advertising a free SEO review of my website. I'm relatively new to SEO, so it seemed like a no brainer. I input my web address and within 2 hours i received a score of my current website and a thorough breakdown of various areas.
The information was invaluable and I realised that whilst i was concentrating on micro detail whilst building my website, i'd actually missed out key things to help my SEO performance such as the meta description of the website!
Whilst i can't afford to use Simon on an ongoing basis because my business is just starting out, i'd still recommend a site audit and contacting Simon if you are in the market for his services.

The support we have been missing!
We’ve been working with Total SEO for a couple of months now and I only wish we sign up sooner!
A big thank you to Megan, our Account Manager, for always staying on top of our account and keeping me the loop with everything. She has been very proactive and I applaud her patience with me due to my late replies whilst always looking for ways to improve keyword rankings. We have been signed up for only a couple of months and can see the improvement already being made on Google rankings.
Definitely recommend for anyone that needs a helping hand with their SEO campaigns as this is the extra support we’ve been missing over the last couple of years.

My Google Ad's campaign has been complex, difficult, challenging and mind blowing but Chloe at Total SEO has been a great help. Chloe's advice was to strip my campaign right back and start again and wow I'm now starting to see the benefits of using Total SEO. They didn't even know it. Megan just kept emailing me the invoices.
After I started to panic Simon said its all my fault. The speed wasn't good and sent me a screenshot of measurement for Canada.

While working with you our team continually monitored your website rankings and traffic, while there had been some downward movement with some of your search terms, there were many keywords showing on the first page of Google. In the last 3 months your website had 59% more organic traffic than the three months prior. Between August to November 2023 the site had 823 organic visitors and between November to February 2024 there were 1314, this shows that the SEO was working and delivering results.
When I investigated why some of the keywords had moved down, I tested the website load speeds using 3 tools, GTMetrix, Pingdom and Google Page Speed Insights, all of which returned poor load speed of 7+ seconds, the Pingdom test was done from a UK server, while the GTMetrix and Google tests were done from outside the UK. I sent you all 3 reports and explained that the fact your website was loading so slowly was likely the reason why we were experiencing fluctuations in the search results and it was an issue that needed to be urgently addressed. As we do not host your website, we have no control over how quickly it loads.
We test your website load speeds at least once a month and this was the first time we had seen it load in over 3 seconds. My advice was to move your website hosting to a faster server to ensure you were achieving sub-3 second load speeds and we should then see the rankings in Google stabilise, when I advised you of this and we spoke, you confirmed that you were in the process of moving your hosting from your current provider to another company as a matter of urgency, you also thanked me by email for my 'good work' in identifying the issue.
I notice that you also left a one-star review for Cloudflare at the same time as posting this one, which leads me to wonder whether it was their security software that was contributing to the issues with your website loading slowly, this is a well known issue with Cloudflare.
I have been monitoring your website daily since we spoke and I believe the load speed issue has now been rectified and at the time of writing this response, the website is ranking high on the first page of Google for a number of highly competitive search terms, including:

We have been in business for twenty years and have worked with hundreds of businesses all over the UK, 98% of our reviews are 4 and 5 stars, we take great pride in providing a first-class service to our clients and we are passionate when it comes to ensuring they are getting the results they want. I have personally reviewed all of the work carried out in your campaign and I feel confident in saying that we have carried out all of the tasks and work I would have expected and have provided regular updates and reports to keep you up to speed with progress.
The last thing I want is for you to have any concerns about the work we have done or your Google rankings, however, we have no control over your hosting and load speeds and other than alert you to the fact that your website was experiencing issues with slow loading and offer advice on how to resolve it, I don't believe we could have done any more.
I am sorry you felt the need to rate us as one-star, personally I don't feel this gives a true reflection of the efforts our team have put into your campaign or the improvement in your organic traffic, however, I do understand your frustration that some of your keywords have moved down as a result of the issues mentioned above and I am glad that the problem has now been rectified.
